Description

- soit d'écarter localement la spire supérieure d'une bobine de la spire immédiatement inférieure, et ce, d'une part, en engageant localement sous la spire à découper un organe plat en vis à vis duquel s'étend un organe coupant et, d'autre part, en déplaçant simultanément l'organe d'écartement et l'organe de coupe selon une génératrice de la bobine (WO 93/1004, DE-A-39 18 552, EP-A-0.952.845, DE-A-32 15 355).
- n'est pas affectée par la faible largeur de la bobine,

Claims (23)
- Procédé de préparation et d'ouverture d'une bobine (23) constituée d'un matériau souple enroulé en spires superposées et comportant une spire supérieure (24) dont l'extrémité libre est fixée sur la spire qui lui est directement inférieure, ladite bobine étant disposée sur un axe support (22) et comportant deux flancs parallèles,
ce procédé comportant quant à lui au moins deux étapes distinctes dont, d'une part, une première étape consistant à écarter au moins une spire à découper d'une spire inférieure, et ce, sur toute la largeur de la bobine et, d'autre part, une deuxième étape consistant à découper au moins la spire écartée,
caractérisé en ce que :pour écarter au moins une spire à découper d'une spire inférieure, on introduit une lame plate (32) entre deux spires successives par le flanc de la bobine, sur toute la largeur de la dite bobine, de manière à ce qu'au moins une spire (24) reste disposée par dessus la lame plate (32),pour découper la ou les spires (24) disposées par-dessus la lame plate on procède à la coupe après introduction de ladite lame plate. - Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'un mouvement d'approche d'un dispositif (3) de préparation et d'ouverture de la bobine comportant ladite lame plate (32) est commandé avant l'introduction de ladite lame plate, ledit mouvement d'approche s'arrêtant lorsqu'une surface d'appui dudit dispositif entre en contact avec la spire supérieure (24) de la bobine (23).
- Procédé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la position angulaire de la bobine (23) sur son axe support (22) est ajustée de manière à ce que ledit dispositif (3) de préparation et d'ouverture de la bobine vienne en appui sur la spire supérieure (24) en un endroit éloigné de l'endroit où l'extrémité libre de la spire supérieure est fixée sur la spire qui lui est directement inférieure.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que ladite surface d'appui est constituée par la surface inférieure de ladite lame plate (32) disposée en position avancée, ladite lame plate étant ensuite rétractée de manière à ce qu'une autre surface d'appui (37A) dudit dispositif vienne en contact avec ladite spire supérieure (24).
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que après introduction de la lame plate (32), l'ouverture de la bobine peut être commandée en actionnant une lame de coupe (35), selon un mouvement de va-et-vient, sectionnant uniquement la ou les spires (24) disposées par-dessus la lame plate (32), ladite lame plate faisant office d'écran de protection des spires inférieures.
- Procédé selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce qu'un serrage de la ou des spires coupées (24) est commandé lors de l'opération de coupe, ledit serrage étant ensuite maintenu lorsqu'un éloignement du dispositif (3) par rapport à la bobine (23) est commandé, de manière à ce que l'extrémité libre de la spire supérieure (24) de la bobine soit emmenée pour une opération ultérieure de raccordement de ladite extrémité libre (24A) sur une autre bande de matériau souple (21).
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la bobine (23) est immobile lors du mouvement d'approche du dispositif (3), lors de l'appui dudit dispositif sur la spire supérieure (24), lors de l'introduction de la lame plate (32) sous la ou les spires supérieures (24), lors de la coupe et du serrage desdites spires supérieures.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que la bobine (23) est animée d'un mouvement de rotation à vitesse réduite lors de l'introduction de la lame plate (32).
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'une pression radiale est appliquée sur une portion de la spire supérieure (24) avant que la surface d'appui du dispositif (3) de préparation et d'ouverture de la bobine n'entre en contact avec ladite spire supérieure, la bobine (23) étant alors animée d'un mouvement de rotation à vitesse réduite lors de cette opération afin de détendre la ou les spires supérieures (24).
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 8 ou 9, caractérisé en ce que ledit mouvement de rotation a lieu selon le sens opposé à celui de déroulement normal de la bobine.
- Dispositif pour la préparation et l'ouverture d'une bobine (23) constituée d'un matériau souple enroulé en spires superposées et comportant une spire supérieure (24) dont l'extrémité libre est fixée sur la spire qui lui est directement inférieure, ladite bobine étant disposée sur un axe support (22) et comportant deux flancs parallèles, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend :des moyens de déplacement (10) aptes à positionner ledit dispositif en contact avec ladite spire supérieure,une lame plate (32) fixée à un support (31),des moyens (30, 30A) de déplacement dudit support, respectivement de ladite lame étant prévus pour disposer la lame plate soit en position avancée, soit en position rétractée, des moyens d'appui constitués d'une languette d'appui (37) comportant une surface d'appui (37A) dirigée vers une portion de surface de la dite spire supérieure,des moyens de coupe constitués d'une lame coupante (35) apte à se déplacer selon un mouvement de va-et-vient sur toute la largeur de la bobine (23), indépendamment de la lame plate (32), la profondeur de coupe étant limitée par la lame plate (32) faisant office d'écran de protection des spires inférieures, etdes moyens de serrage (38A) aptes à serrer ladite spire coupée (24) entre lesdits moyens et ladite lame plate.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que la surface inférieure de ladite lame plate (32) en position avancée est apte à servir de surface d'appui lors de la prise de contact entre le dispositif et la spire supérieure (24) de la bobine (23).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 ou 12, caractérisé en ce que la distance entre la surface d'appui (37A) de la languette d'appui (37) et la surface supérieure de la lame plate (32) est ajustable, ladite surface d'appui (37A) étant en retrait par rapport à ladite surface supérieure de la lame plate.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que ladite distance entre la surface d'appui (37A) de la languette d'appui (37) et la surface supérieure de la lame plate (32) est équivalente à au moins l'épaisseur d'une spire de la bande du matériau souple constituant la bobine (23).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 14, caractérisé en ce que les moyens permettant le déplacement de la lame plate (32) et/ou de la lame coupante (35) sont constitués de vérins (30,33) pneumatiques ou hydrauliques.
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 15, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre des moyens de guidage (32A) de la lame de coupe (35).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 16, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de guidage de la lame de coupe (35) sont constitués d'une rainure longitudinale (32A) aménagée sur la surface supérieure de la lame plate (32).
- Dispositif selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de serrage (38A) sont actionnés lors du déplacement de la lame plate (32).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 18 caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un moyen de pressage (39) apte à appliquer une pression radiale sur une portion de la spire supérieure (24) lesdits moyens de pressage étant disposés en amont de la lame plate (32) dans le sens de déroulement des spires.
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 19, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre des moyens permettant de maintenir la bobine (23) immobile, ou de la mettre en rotation autour de son axe support (22), selon une faible vitesse.
- Dispositif selon la revendication 20, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de mise en rotation de la bobine sont aptes à la faire pivoter selon le sens opposé au sens de déroulement de la bobine afin de détendre la ou les spires supérieures (24).
- Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 21, caractérisé en ce qu'il est associé à un dispositif de raccordement (13) de deux bandes (21,24A) du matériau souple.
- Utilisation d'un dispositif selon l'une des revendications 11 à 22 dans une ligne de fabrication de cigarettes ou de fabrication ou de pose de filtres à cigarettes.
