Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verkleidung für die Abflußarmatur, insbesondere den Geruchverschluß, und die Wasserzulaufarmatur eines vorzugsweise in der Ecke eines Raumes zu montierenden Waschbeckens, insbesondere Handwaschbeckens.
Es ist bekannt, die insbesondere den Geruchverschluß umfassende Abflußarmatur und die Wasserzulaufarmatur von Waschbecken durch säulenartige Verkleidungen abzudecken. Diese sind entweder als sogenannte Standsäule ausgebildet, welche zwischen dem Boden und der Unterseite des Waschbeckens verläuft (siehe DE-A-2412 084), oder als "Halbsäule" ausgeführt, die im Abstand vom Boden endet und unterhalb des Waschbeckens an der Wand befestigt wird (siehe US-A-4 646 370).
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, derartige Verkleidungen weiterzubilden, so daß sie eine weitere Funktion erhalten.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabenstellung durch die Erfindung ist gekennzeichnet durch eine bogenförmige, von Wand zu Wand verlaufende Sichtschutzwand und eine von dieser Sichtschutzwand nach vorn abstehende, eine waagerechte Ablagefläche bildende Ablage mit der Form eines Ringabschnittes.
Durch diese erfindungsgemäße Weiterbildung der bekannten Verkleidungen wird nicht nur deren Einsatzbereich auch auf in der Ecke eines Raumes zu montierende Waschbecken erweitert, sondern auch der Vorteil erzielt, daß die bisher ausschließlich der Abdeckung der Wasserabfluß- und -zulaufarmaturen dienenden Verkleidungen eine weitere Funktion erhalten, nämlich eine zusätzliche Ablagefläche für im Bereich eines Waschbeckens aufzubewahrende Gegenstände bilden. Selbstverständlich kann die erfindungsgemäße Verkleidung nicht nur für in der Ecke eines Raumes zu montierende Waschbecken eingesetzt werden, sondern auch für auf einer Wand montierte Waschbecken, wobei der bogenförmige Verlauf der Sichtschutzwand und die Ausbildung des Ringabschnittes für die Ablage den jeweiligen Erfordernissen entsprechend ausgeführt sein können.
Gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung sind an den Enden der Ablage jeweils rechtwinklig zur Ablagefläche abstehende Ansätze mit mindestens einer Öffnung für ein Befestigungselement ausgebildet, so daß die erfindungsgemäße Verkleidung auf einfache Weise mittels geeigneten Befestigungselementen an der Wand befestigt werden kann. Die Ansätze sind gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung vorzugsweise leistenartig an der Unterseite der Ablage ausgebildet, so daß eine für den Benutzer des Waschbeckens unsichtbare Befestigung der erfindungsgemäßen Verkleidung erfolgt, die Befestigungselemente andererseits jedoch für den Sanitärinstallateur gut zugänglich sind.
Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung können an der Unterseite der Ablage in den leistenartigen Ansätzen endende Verstärkungsrippen ausgebildet sein, so daß die Stabilität nicht nur der Ablage, sondern der gesamten Verkleidung erhöht wird.
Auch an den Enden der Sichtschutzwand können gemäß einem Merkmal der Erfindung Verstärkungsleisten angeformt sein, um die Gefahr der Beschädigung der Verkleidung herabzusetzen.
Für eine Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Verkleidung für Eckhandwaschbecken ist bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform die Sichtschutzwand als Viertelkreisbogen und die Ablage als Kreisringabschnitt mit einem Bogen von 90° ausgebildet. Vorzugsweise werden die Sichtschutzwand und die Ablage einstückig aus Sanitärkeramik hergestellt.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemäßen Verkleidung dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:

Die perspektivische Darstellung in Fig. 1 zeigt ein Handwaschbecken 1, das in der Ecke eines Raumes an den rechtwinklig zusammenstoßenden Wänden montiert ist. Unterhalb dieses Handwaschbeckens 1 ist eine Verkleidung 2 montiert, die in der Draufsicht in Fig. 2 und in einem Querschnitt in Fig. 3 nochmals dargestellt ist.
Diese Verkleidung 2, die vorzugsweise einstückig aus Sanitärkeramik hergestellt ist, umfaßt eine bogenförmige Sichtschutzwand 2a und eine von dieser Sichtschutzwand 2a nach vorn abstehende Ablage 2b. Diese Ablage 2b bildet eine waagerechte Ablagefläche 2c, so daß unterhalb des Handwaschbeckens 1 auf der Zeichnung nicht dargestellte Gegenstände abgestellt werden können.
Bei dem in den Figuren 1 bis 3 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Sichtschutzwand 2a als Viertelkreisbogen und die Ablage 2b als Kreisringabschnitt mit einem Bogen von 90° ausgebildet, so daß die Verkleidung 2 mit ihren Stirnflächen an den eine Ecke bildenden Wänden anliegt. An der Unterseite der Ablage 2b sind leistenartige Ansätze 2d angeformt, in denen Öffnungen 2e ausgebildet sind. Durch diese Öffnungen 2e ragen auf der Zeichnung nicht dargestellte Befestigungselemente hindurch, mit denen die Verkleidung 2 an der jeweiligen Wand befestigt wird. Durch die Sichtschutzwand 2a werden hierbei die Armaturen für den Abfluß und den Wasserzulauf abgedeckt.
Um die Stabilität der Ablage 2b zu erhöhen, sind beim Ausführungsbeispiel an deren Unterseite Verstärkungsrippen 2f ausgebildet, die zwischen den leistenartigen Ansätzen 2d verlaufen. Auch an den Enden der bogenförmigen Sichtschutzwand 2a sind beim Ausführungsbeispiel Verstärkungsleisten 2g angeformt.
Die voranstehend beschriebene Verkleidung 2 läßt sich auf besonders einfache Weise an der Wand montieren. Sie stellt einen guten Sichtschutz zur Verkleidung der Abfluß- und Wasserzulaufarmaturen dar, die jedoch auch nach Anbringung der Verkleidung 2 noch von unten her zugänglich sind. Schließlich schafft die Verkleidung 2 eine zusätzliche Ablagefläche 2c, so daß unterhalb des Handwaschbeckens 1 eine Mehrzahl von Gegenständen abgestellt werden kann.

Claims (7)

  1. Verkleidung (2) für die Abflußarmatur, insbesondere den Geruchverschluß, und die Wasserzulaufarmatur eines vorzugsweise in der Ecke eines Raumes zu montierenden Waschbeckens (1), insbesondere Handwaschbeckens,
    gekennzeichnet durch
    eine bogenförmige, von Wand zu Wand verlaufende Sichtschutzwand (2a) und eine von dieser Sichtschutzwand (2a) nach vorn abstehende, eine waagerechte Ablagefläche (2c) bildende Ablage (2b) mit der Form eines Ringabschnittes.
  2. Verkleidung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an den Enden der Ablage (2b) jeweils rechtwinklig zur Ablagefläche (2c) abstehende Ansätze (2d) mit mindestens einer Öffnung (2e) für ein Befestigungselement ausgebildet sind.
  3. Verkleidung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ansätze (2d) leistenartig an der Unterseite der Ablage (2b) ausgebildet sind.
  4. Verkleidung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Unterseite der Ablage (2b) in den leistenartigen Ansätzen (2d) endende Verstärkungsrippen (2f) ausgebildet sind.
  5. Verkleidung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an den Enden der Sichtschutzwand (2a) Verstärkungsleisten (2g) angeformt sind.
  6. Verkleidung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sichtschutzwand (2a) als Viertelkreisbogen und die Ablage (2b) als Kreisringabschnitt mit einem Bogen von 90° ausgebildet ist.
  7. Verkleidung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sichtschutzwand (2a) und die Ablage (2b) einstückig aus Sanitärkeramik hergestellt sind.
