Zum Zwecke der Kontaktierung weist das elektrische Kontaktelement wenigstens eine Gabelfeder auf, die zwischen sich einen Einführschlitz definiert, wobei die einander zugewandten Kanten der beiden Gabelfederschenkel angeschärft sind. Um das elektrische Kabel zu kontaktieren, wird dieses in den Einführschlitz der Gabelfeder eingeführt, so daß die Schneiden der beiden Gabelfederschenkel die Kabelisolierung derart einritzen, daß sie mit dem elektrischen Leiter in elektrischen Kontakt gelangen. Die beiden Gabelfederschenkel üben dabei eine Klemmkraft auf den elektrischen Leiter aus, so daß dieser in dem Einführschlitz gehalten ist. Bei der Anwendung eines derartigen Kontaktelementes in Schneidklemmtechnik ist nachteilig, daß die Federzungen, zwischen die beispielsweise der Kontaktstift eines Steckers der elektrischen Steckverbindung zur elektrischen Kontaktierung eingeschoben wird, keinerlei Verriegelung aufweisen. Hiermit wird erreicht, daß eine sichere innere Verriegelung möglich ist, so daß Gehäuse ohne Verriegelungsarme Verwendung finden können. Somit wird ein erheblicher Platzgewinn erreicht. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht der erfindungsgemäß vorgesehene Schneidklemmanschluß die Verwendung bekannter Ansetzmaschinen für ein simultanes Ansetzen und Bestücken, wobei etwaige Verbindungsbrücken, die aus maschinentechnischen Gründen nicht in der Schneidklemm-Technik möglich sind, nachträglich mittels Crimp-Verbindungen gemäß einer zweckmäßigen Ausgestaltung der Erfindung eingebracht werden können. Die Herstellung beliebiger Kabelsätze mit verschiedenen Anschlußarten an einem Artikel ist möglich.
