Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electrical Contact for the connection of at least two conductors the preamble of claim 1.
Ein solcher Kontakt ist aus GB-A-1 243 938 bekannt.Such a contact is known from GB-A-1 243 938.
'Schneidklemmkontakte').For connecting electrical conductors to devices, components od. Like. Are in addition to contacts for soldering and Screw connections of the conductors primarily those in use, where the stripped ends of the conductors are in one Clamping area electrically and mechanically connected are (so-called 'screwless terminals') or insulated Conductor to be pressed between cutting edges penetrate their insulation sheath and on this Establish electrical contact (so-called 'Insulation displacement contacts').
There are also known contacts that have two conductor connection areas, one correspondingly the insulation displacement technology is designed while the other is designed as a screwless terminal is. Examples of this can be found in DE 27 20 418 C2, DE 27 43 242, and US 4,212,509. This Known contacts are used to connect two conductors with each other and basically represent connectors, the conductor connection area designed using insulation displacement technology mainly the machine assembly serves with conductors, while conductors with stripped conductor ends if necessary also connected manually to the contacts can be. That is why the well-known components also the principle in common that the insulation displacement connections when assembling the connector be made that the contacts in an insulating housing be used and thereby, i.e. With their insert movement, the insulation displacement connection with the ladders. After the completion of the concerned The connector is therefore a conductor connection no longer possible using insulation displacement technology.
The invention has for its object a electrical contact in the preamble of claim 1 as a known type for wire connectors in cleverly for a special suitability as a terminal contact training for electrical devices.
Die mit der Erfindung einhergehende neuartige Kontaktverwendung ist Gegenstand des nebengeordneten Anspruchs 8.This object is achieved according to the invention is specified in claim 1. The one with the invention associated new use of contacts is the subject of the independent claim 8.
The invention thus creates a terminal contact for electrical devices, e.g. Lamp and starter sockets, Ballasts, distribution terminals or Like., the alternative or cumulative connection of conductors in the two different connection technologies allowed.
This makes it possible to have devices available places, the type of conductor connection up to the last of the free The choice of the user is left. Without this already can be taken into account when ordering for example, the luminaire manufacturer uses automatic devices Devices in insulation displacement technology with connection conductors equip or, if its facilities are not suitable for this Manually or with manipulators the screwless terminal areas respectively. The contacts accordingly device manufacturers using the invention again, there is no need for a specific one from the start Connection technology to consider and no different Devices available, since a device with the invention Contact both connection options has ready.
In addition, the invention offers a serious one Advantage over only the insulation displacement technology executed conductor connections, the inside exists that in addition to these or alternatively Wiring can be carried out using clamping technology can. The user who usually doesn't have skills or facilities, an insulation displacement connection in the event of damage, observing the safety regulations repair (if the IDC area on the finished device at all is accessible), can now be the defective or defective Conductor after stripping its free end to easy connection to the secondary available Prepare screwless connection clamp and accordingly use, in the immediate vicinity and assignment to the connection to be replaced. In other cases can the connection area of the screwless clamping technology about also be used for other connections or taps using additional conductors.
