Abstract

The part (9) of the holder frame covering the composite spine (8) of the insulating glass pane (1) has perforations (10) along the composite spine. The perforations are positioned only on the bottom horizontal frame-arm (2) and on the two side vertical frame arms. The edge surfaces (7) of the two glass panes (4) are each supported by its own extra strip (13) on the frame part. The perforations are confined to the part between the strips. A continuous adhesive layer is situated between the composite spine and the frame part and fills the perforations.

Description

The invention relates to an insulating glass pane arranged on a holding frame, the holding frame having at least one frame part covering the edge of the insulating glass pane on its composite back and the insulating glass pane consisting of two glass panes which are parallel to one another and enclose a gas-filled space between them and which are joined together at the edge by a sealing strip are glued so that the sealing strip and the edge surfaces of the two glass panes together form the composite back of the insulating glass pane.

Insulating glass panes of this type arranged on holding frames are widely known. They must be designed so that the composite back is protected from moisture and high humidity. For these reasons, the glass rebate in Provide enough space for the holding frame between the composite back of the insulating glass pane and the frame part of the holding frame opposite it. This also applies to the case of an insulating glass pane attached to the holding frame by gluing, that is to say if the holding frame does not have a U-shaped glass fold and no glass flange overlapping the edge of the insulating glass pane on its front side. In general, a distance of at least 5 mm between the composite back and the frame part opposite it is required. The consequence of this requirement are correspondingly larger dimensions of the holding frame.

The invention has for its object to design an insulating glass pane with a holding frame so that the distance between the composite back and the frame part required as moisture and moisture protection is unnecessary and thus the holding frame can overall be kept correspondingly smaller.

This object is achieved according to the invention in an insulating glass pane arranged on a holding frame with the features mentioned at the outset in that the frame part of the holding frame covering the composite back of the insulating glass pane is perforated by perforations arranged along the composite back.

The perforations according to the invention ensure that the space between the composite back of the insulating glass pane and the frame part of the holding frame opposite it has connection to the outside and moisture or moisture can therefore no longer collect on the composite back of the insulating glass pane. Of the The distance between the composite back and the frame part can be reduced significantly. At most, a narrow gap is required to accommodate inserts to protect the glass edges of the insulating glass panes. - Apart from the perforations according to the invention in the frame part covering the composite back of the insulating glass pane, there is also a great deal of freedom with regard to the design of the holding frame. Esp. The holding frame can be an adapter frame that surrounds only the insulating glass pane for connection to a load-bearing frame structure or directly part of this load-bearing structure itself, be it on a fixed facade cladding or on frame frames of windows and doors. In the context of the invention, the insulating glass pane can be framed on the holding frame in a glass rebate with a glazing bead or glued on its back to a flange surface of the holding frame, as is known and customary in the case of glued glazing.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the perforations are provided only on the lower horizontal frame leg and on the two lateral vertical frame legs of the holding frame, so that the upper horizontal frame leg is closed and prevents water from entering, as would be possible if the upper horizontal frame leg were also perforated would.

In a further very advantageous embodiment of the invention, the edge surfaces of the two glass panes are supported on the frame part by separate insert strips and the perforations are limited to the area between the insert strips. But there is also equally expedient possibility to provide a continuous adhesive layer between the composite back and the frame part, which fills the perforations and there is essentially flush with the side of the frame part facing away from the composite back.

The perforations themselves can have different cross-sectional shapes. In addition to a circular perforation cross section, perforations are particularly advantageous, each having a square or rectangular cross section and being separated from one another by only narrow cross bars. If perforations with a rectangular cross-section are involved, it is advisable to line up the perforations in the direction of their longer rectangular side.

Soweit die Perforationen 10 rechteckigen oder quadratischen Querschnitt besitzen (Fig. 2, 4 und 6), sind sie durch nur schmale Querstege 11 voneinander getrennt.1, 5, 8 and 9 show in a detail an insulating glass pane 1 which is arranged on a holding frame shown only with its lower horizontal frame leg 2. The insulating glass pane 1 consists in the usual way of two glass panes 4 which are parallel to one another and enclose a gas-filled space 3 between them, which are kept at a distance from one another in the edge region by spacers 5 and on the outside on the outside of the spacers 5 by a sealing strip 6 made of adhesive and Sealant are glued together, so that the sealing strip 6 and the edge surfaces 7 of the two glass panes 4 together form the composite back of the insulating glass pane 1, generally designated 8. The holding frame has at least one frame part 9 which covers the insulating glass pane 1 on the edge of its composite back 8 and has perforations 10 arranged along the composite back 8 is broken. These perforations 10 can have a circular cross section, as in FIGS. 3 and 7, a square cross section as in FIG. 4, or a rectangular cross section, as in FIGS. 2 and 6. In the case of a rectangular cross section, as in FIGS. 2 and 6, the perforations 10 are arranged in the direction of their longer rectangular side. Insofar as the perforations 10 have a rectangular or square cross section (FIGS. 2, 4 and 6), they are separated from one another by only narrow transverse webs 11.

Die Beilagestreifen 13 sind dabei so schmal, daß sie die Trennflächen zwischen den Glasscheiben 4 und der Dichtleiste 6 nicht überdecken.1 and 9, the holding frame has a glass rebate with a glass flange 12 which overlaps the insulating glass pane 1 at the front edge. The frame part 9 covering the composite back 8 of the insulating glass pane 1 forms the bottom of the glass rebate. Between the glass flange 12 and the front glass pane 4, as well as between the edge surfaces 7 of the two glass panes 4 and the frame part 9, elastic insert strips 13, for example made of neoprene, are inserted as glass edge protection. The two insert strips 13 supporting the edge surfaces 7 of the glass panes 4 are at a distance from one another which is approximately the same as the two glass panes 4 of the insulating glass pane 1. The perforations 10 are limited to the area between these supplementary strips 13. The insert strips 13 are so narrow that they do not cover the parting surfaces between the glass sheets 4 and the sealing strip 6.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 8, there is a continuous adhesive layer 14 between the composite backing 8 and the frame part 9, which can also be made in one piece with the sealing strip 6 in a homogeneous manner. These Adhesive layer 14 fills the gap between the frame part 9 and the edge surfaces 7 of the glass panes 4 and the perforations 10, so that moisture or moisture only on the open surfaces of the adhesive layer, which are essentially flush with the frame part 9 and face away from the composite backing 8, in the perforations 10 14 can occur where it can be quickly removed by leaching and evaporating.

In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 5, the holding frame is, for example, a statically supporting element and is equipped with a hollow profile 20 for its static function. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9, on the other hand, the holding frame is an adapter frame which conveys the connection to a statically supporting frame 21.

If, for the rest, for the sake of simplicity, the insulating glass pane 1 is also shown to consist of only two individual glass panes 4, within the scope of the invention there is of course also the possibility of having one or both of the glass panes 4 made, for example, of heat protection glass or multiple insulating glass (three spaced washers and more) to use.
