Description

The present invention relates to a fire-resistant glazing to prevent the passage of fire and smoke in case of fire from one room to another room with at least two side by side or one above the other with their abutting edges adjacent to each other arranged fire protection.

It is known from the prior art to arrange individual fire protection windows, which consist of at least two parallel and spaced apart glass panes and a space between these glass panes fire protection layer, with their abutting side edges, wherein between the side edges of the fire protection discs each vertically arranged Sealing arrangement is provided. In this case, the glass panes of a fire protection pane which are arranged with respect to each other close in each case flush with the side edges, without a stepped fold being formed.

Such fire-resistant glazings bring with them the disadvantage that the stability of the glazings, in particular the vertical connection of two adjacent to each other with their abutting edges fire protection discs, only by means of a sealing arrangement, which can absorb only small acting on these forces. Furthermore, in the case of fire-resistant glazings known from the prior art, there is the disadvantage that, in the event of a fire, damage to this seal can easily be caused by flames and / or heat due to the use of only one continuous seal.

Against this background, the present invention has the object to provide an improved fire-resistant glazing, which in particular has increased stability and further better sealing and thus improved protection in case of fire and in particular with respect to the fire protection class A1 according to DIN 4102-1 or EN 13501 ensures sufficient fire protection properties.

The technical solution is the present invention, a fire-resistant glazing to prevent the passage of fire and smoke in Fire case from one room to another room with at least two side by side or one above the other with their abutting edges adjacent to each other arranged fire protection slices proposed, the fire protection discs each consist of at least two parallel and spaced glass panes and arranged in the space between these glass panes fire protection material and at at least one of its edge-side abutting edges by projecting or returning the first glass pane relative to the second glass pane form a stepped rebate and wherein a defined between the abutting edges of the fire protection by the trained stepped rebate gap by means of at least one sealing arrangement is fire and smoke sealed.

The invention makes use in particular of the realization that when forming a stepped rebate for each spaced glass panes of a fire protection increased stability of the fire protection glazing can be guaranteed, since in case of fire even with destruction of the seal assembly a single fire protection of the fire-resistant glazing due to the Stufenfalzes can be held or supported by their adjacent fire panels. In addition, in the event of fire, destruction of the sealing arrangements arranged between the fire protection disks is slowed down, in particular if the sealing arrangement according to the invention is designed in several parts. In this case, although the fire side associated seal the multi-part seal assembly is first damaged by heat and / or fire, the side facing away from the fire seal of the multi-part seal assembly is only later and not directly attacked by fire and / or heat.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that is provided as a sealing arrangement arranged on one of the projecting or recessed glass panes P-seal. The advantage of a P-seal is, in particular, that only one component is to be used as a sealing arrangement between the side edge adjacent side edge adjacent fire protection, sometimes between a projecting the abutting edge of a first fire protection and a recessed abutting edge of a second fire protection glass remaining gaps can be filled by means of a silicone.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that is provided as a sealing arrangement disposed respectively on the projecting or recessed glass pane of the fire protection profile, which abuts a arranged on the projecting or recessed glass pane of a neighboring arranged fire protection profile, the profiles respectively are arranged inside the projecting and receding glass pane of the adjacent fire protection pane. This has a simpler manufacturing advantage since it is always only on the projecting abutment edge of each glass to arrange a profile, resulting in a symmetrical structure of fire protection. Preferably, the use of a silicone may be provided between a projecting abutment edge of a glass pane of a first fire protection pane and a recessed edge of a glass pane of an adjacently arranged second fire protection pane for further sealing the gap existing between the fire protection windows.

In a further particularly advantageous embodiment of the fire-resistant glazing according to the invention, a jointing or backfilling with butyl rubber, polysulfide, silicone, polyurethane and / or MS polymer sealants is provided as a sealing arrangement. A use of the aforementioned sealants may preferably be carried out in combination with one of the aforementioned seals, for example a P-seal or profiles respectively arranged on the projecting glass pane of the fire-protection pane. In this way, a multi-stage sealing arrangement is realized, which can optimally withstand the different phases of a fire.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention further provides that is provided as a sealing arrangement arranged on the abutting edge of the respective projecting or recessed glass pane of a fire protection pane, preferably attachable profile. By acting as a seal assembly attachable profile existing between two fire doors gap is not only air and smoke tight closed, but also increases the stability of the overall composite, since the clip-on profile at least partially surrounds the respective abutting edges of the glass used for the fire panels.

According to a preferred embodiment of the fire-resistant glazing according to the invention, the profile is attached by means of an adhesive on the abutting edge of the respective projecting or recessed glass pane. This ensures, on the one hand, that due to the created flush closure between two fire protection windows, on the one hand, no fire or smoke passes through it and, on the other hand, the stability of the fire protection glazing is increased.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is provided as a sealing arrangement along the respective projecting or recessed glass pane of a fire protection disc arranged L-profile, which abuts a arranged along the projecting or recessed glass pane of a neighboring arranged fire protection L-profile provided. The use of an L-profile is advantageous because, for example, a mounting of the same can be done on the projecting edge of each fire protection pane, preferably by using a corresponding adhesive. In this way it is possible to use symmetrically constructed fire protection windows, which can be used in a simple manner at the installation site.

According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention is provided as a sealing arrangement along one of the projecting or recessed glass panes arranged Z-profile. The use of a Z-profile is advantageous because only one such profile must be used per fire protection, but still the advantages of the invention are maintained, which result from a projecting or receding glass and not just running between the two fire protection flashing edge.

Further details, features and advantages of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the embodiments illustrated in the figures of the drawings.

In Fig. 3 According to another embodiment, a sealing arrangement is shown, which consists of profiles 9 respectively arranged on the projecting or recessed glass pane of the fire protection pane, wherein the profiles 9 are arranged in each case on the inside of the projecting or recessed glass pane 4 of the adjacent fire protection pane 2. Accordingly, the straight side of each profile 9 is arranged on the projecting glass pane 4 of a respective fire protection pane 2, so that the two round characteristics of the profiles 9 abut each other and the two fire protection windows 2 in the abutting edge region 3 fire and smoke-tight seal.

In Fig. 4 a further embodiment of a fire-resistant glazing 1 according to the invention is shown, in which a grouting or backfilling of the existing between the two fire protection panels 2 abutting edge region 3 was carried out by means of a silicone sealant 10. Alternatively, the use of butyl rubber, polysulfide, polyurethane and / or MS polymer sealants is also possible for grouting or backfilling.

Fig. 5 shows in a further embodiment, the use of arranged on the abutting edges 3 of the respective projecting or receding glass 4 of the fire panel 2 profiles 11. In this embodiment, the profiles 11 are each fixed to the projecting edge the glass sheets 4 of the fire panels 2 plugged so that on both sides of the resulting fire-resistant glazing 1 is given a seal against fire and / or smoke. In addition, according to the invention, it is provided to arrange a P-seal 8, profiles 9 or a sealant 10 in the interspace between the two projecting abutting edges of the glass panes 4.

According to a further embodiment variant of the fire-resistant glazing according to the invention is accordingly Fig. 6 is provided as a sealing arrangement along the respective projecting glass 4 of a fire protection pane 2 each to arrange an L-profile 12, which abuts against the along the projecting glass 4 of an adjacent arranged fire protection pane 2 arranged L-profile 12. The L-profiles 12 are attached by means of an adhesive to the respective projecting edge of a fire protection pane 4, wherein optionally the application of an adhesive on an L-profile 12 is provided on the other L-profile 12 side facing. This makes it possible that the two L-profiles 12 are firmly connected to each other, while still allowing easy installation of fire-resistant glazing 1, since all fire protection panels 2 can be manufactured or prepared in the same way.

In Fig. 7 According to a further exemplary embodiment of the fire-resistant glazing 1 according to the invention, a Z-profile 13 arranged along the projecting glass panes 4 is provided as a sealing arrangement. The Z-profile 13 closes the existing between each projecting edge of a glass sheet 4 and the correspondingly arranged recessed glass 4 of the adjacent glass pane 4 gap and at the same time existing between the two projecting edges of the glass sheets 4 gap.
