      the intermediate sleeve (9) comprises means (10) of screwing with respect to the body (5) arranged correspondingly and is arranged, on the one hand, to shift the said valve needle (6), especially its operating end (6b) in terms of translation against the return means (13) in the direction for opening the valve, by unscrewing the said intermediate sleeve and, on the other hand, for shifting the said valve needle (6), especially its active end (6a) in terms of translation in the direction for closing the valve and in the direction of the thrust exerted by the return means (13), by screwing the said intermediate sleeve.
    2. Appliance according to Claim 1, characterized in that the intermediate sleeve (9) comprises an axial hole (9c) and the valve needle (6) of the fluid-control device comprises an axial stem (6c), these components being matched to one another in terms of cross section so as to allow the relative shifting of the valve needle in terms of translation with respect to the sleeve.
    3. Appliance according to Claim 1, characterized in that the valve (3) has a wide-open stop (14), limiting the travel of the valve needle (6) with respect to the sleeve (9) in the direction for opening the valve, and in the unscrewed position of the intermediate sleeve.
    4. Appliance according to Claim 1, characterized in that the valve (3) comprises a closed stop (70), designed to push the valve needle (6) into the valve-closed position, under the effect of the screwing of the intermediate sleeve (9).

Appliance according to Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that the wide-open stop (14) and the closed stop (70) are obtained by designing the stem (6c) of the valve needle and the axial hole (9c) of intermediate sleeve to have two sections (61,62) of respectively different diameters, the larger-diameter section (61) being the proximal section relative to the seat (5b) of the valve needle.
    6. Appliance according to Claim 1, characterized in that the actuating element (12) can be shifted in terms of translation parallel to the axis of the valve needle (6) freely with respect to the structure (2) and is mounted on the operating end (6b) of the valve needle.
    7. Appliance according to Claim 1, characterized in that the actuating member return means (13) is a hairpin-shaped spring, the stationary end (13a) of which is mounted in the structure (2), and the moving end (13b) of which is mounted on the operating end (6b) of the valve needle.
    8. Appliance according to Claim 1, characterized in that the return means (13) is designed and/or arranged to exert a return thrust directed in the direction of the valve needle (6).
    9. Appliance according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, running on fuel gas, especially a blow torch for soldering or other work requiring relatively high temperatures, according to which the functional member (4) is a burner, and the upstream passage communicates with a source (15) of pressurized fuel gas.
    10. Appliance according to Claim 9, which is portable, and the structure (2) of which comprises, on the one hand, a grip (16) for holding, and, on the other hand, a means (17) of accommodating and retaining a cartridge (15) of pressurized fuel gas, with a means (20) of withdrawing gas from the said cartridge, possibly incorporated into the body (5) of the device (3) for controlling the flow of the gas.
