Claims (5)
- Une meule stratifiée pour l'usinage des bords de plaques de marbre, granit ou similaire, comprenant un corps principal (1) pouvant être emboíté sur un mandrin rotatif (2), et ayant une surface latérale (3) dont la forme est complémentaire d'un bord (4) d'une plaque (5), et comprenant une longueur de ruban abrasif (6) qui est superposée à la surface latérale (3) du corps principal (1) et enroulée autour de ce même corps principal (1) sous la forme d'un anneau ouvert de façon à laisser un espace entre les extrémités opposées (7) du ruban abrasif (6) en question ; une couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable étant interposée entre la surface latérale (3) du corps principal (1) et le ruban abrasif (6), et adhérant à cette même surface latérale (3) et au ruban abrasif (6), de façon à ce que ledit corps principal (1) et ledit ruban abrasif (6) soient fermement maintenus l'un à l'autre ; caractérisée en ce que ladite couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable a une portion qui remplit au moins l'espace entre lesdites extrémités opposées (7) de la longueur de ruban abrasif (6) de façon à former une bande stratifiée en anneau fermé (12) présentant une surface continue (16).
- Meule selon la revendication 1, où ladite longueur de ruban abrasif (6) présente des bords latéraux coupés (9) pour permettre au ruban (6) d'épouser une surface latérale courbe (3) du corps (1) susmentionné, caractérisée en ce que ladite couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable remplit les espaces interposés entre les bords latéraux coupés (9) du ruban abrasif (6), incorporant ce même ruban (6) dans ladite bande stratifiée (12).
- Meule selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que ladite couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable est en caoutchouc.
- Meule selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que ladite couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable est en élastomère.
- Un procédé pour réaliser la meule (10) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les phases suivantes :placer au moins une longueur de ruban abrasif (6) sur une surface intérieure (13) de deux demi-matrices (14) et (15) chauffées, dont la surface intérieure (13) a une forme complémentaire de la surface latérale (3) du corps principal (1) susmentionné ;répandre une couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable à l'état semi-liquide sur la surface latérale (3) du corps principal (1), laquelle couche adhérera par la suite à ladite surface latérale (3) ;fermer les deux demi-matrices (14) et (15) autour du corps principal (1), de façon à ce que le ruban abrasif (6) s'enfonce dans la couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable ;solidifier la couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable de façon à bien unir le ruban abrasif (6) et la couche (11) de matériau élastiquement déformable.
