Claims (7)

  1. System zum automatischen beidseitigen Bedrucken von Karten (9) in schwarz-weiß oder in Farbe, das aufweist:
    mindestens eine Schwarzweißdruckmaschine (2) oder eine Farbendruckmaschine (1) von der Art mit Thermodruckkopf, vor der gleichzeitig ein Band, das als Träger für aufzubringende Farbstoffe dient, und die zu bedruckende Karte vorbeilaufen,
    mindestens eine Vorrichtung (4) zum Wenden der Karte, die vor oder nach der Druckmaschine angeordnet ist, und
    eine Steuervorrichtung (8) für die Druckmaschine (1, 2) und die Wendevorrichtung (4), um die Karte vor dem Thermokopf so zu bewegen, daß ihre Vorderseite zum Zweck des Bedruckens mit dem Band in Kontakt gelangt, um die Karte in der Wendevorrichtung umzudrehen, und um die Rückseite der Karte zum Zweck des Bedruckens mit dem Band in Kontakt zu bringen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorrichtung (4) zum Wenden der Karte eine Drehvorrichtung ist, die aufweist:
    eine um ± 180° um ihre waagrechte Achse schwenkbare waagrechte Trommel (11), in die die Karte (9) mittels gegensinnig drehender Rollen (13, 14 oder 15, 16) flach von der einen oder der anderen Seite gemäß einer Achse der Karte eingeführt wird, wobei die Trommel Rollen (17, 18) aufweist, die die Verschiebungen der flach im Inneren der Trommel angeordneten Karte gewährleisten,
    ein Antriebsmittel (23), das eine Drehung der waagrechten Trommel (11) um ± 180° um eine Achse bewirkt,
    ein Mittel (40, 41) zur Kontrolle der Position der Karte in der Trommel vor dem Auslösen der Drehung, und
    ein Mittel zur permanenten Ortung (45, 46, 47) der vorderseitigen oder rückseitigen Anordnung der Karte in der Trommel, wobei dieses Ortungsmittel eine lichtelektrische Zelle (45), die in einer in Bezug auf dem Umfang der Trommel (11) bestimmten Position angeordnet ist, und zwei Löcher (46 und 47) aufweist, die durch diametral entgegengesetzt durchgeführte Bohrungen an der Trommel entstanden sind, wobei die lichtelektrische Zelle (45) mit den Löchern (46, 47) so zusammenwirkt, daß die Erfassung der Koinzidenz eines Lochs (46 oder 47) mit der lichtelektrischen Zelle (45) einer waagrechten Position der Karte in der Trommel entspricht, wobei die lichtelektrische Zelle ein elektrisches Signal an die elektronische Steuervorrichtung (55) liefert, um die Drehung der Trommel (11) anzuhalten.
  2. Drucksystem nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Antriebsmittel (23), um die Trommel (11) in Drehung zu versetzen, vorgesehen ist, um während der Translationsbewegung der Karte in der Trommel ein Haltemoment des Ritzels (19, 20) auf das Ritzel (22) des Motors (21) auszuüben.
  3. Drucksystem nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trommel (11) visuelle Mittel wie z.B. Wölbungen (30, 31) aufweist, um es einem Benutzer zu ermöglichen, die Position der Trommel festzustellen.
  4. Drucksystem nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es zwei nebeneinander angeordnete Druckmaschinen, eine Farbendruckmaschine (1) und eine Schwarzweißdruckmaschine (2), aufweist, wobei die Wendevorrichtung (4) nach den Druckmaschinen angeordnet und die Steuervorrichtung (8, 55) vorgesehen ist, um die Karte, die soeben auf der Vorderseite bedruckt wurde, an den Eingang dieser Druckmaschinen zurückzubringen und die Karte von neuem vor den Thermodruckköpfen vorbeilaufen zu lassen, indem sie ihre Rückseite mit dem Band jeder Maschine in Kontakt bringt.
  5. Drucksystem nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es weiter aufweist:
    eine Maschine (3) für das Aufbringen eines Schutzfilms, die nach der Wendevorrichtung (4) angeordnet ist,
    eine zweite Wendevorrichtung (7), die nach der Maschine zum Aufbringen des Schutzfilms angeordnet ist,
    wobei die Steuervorrichtung (8, 55) vorgesehen ist, um die beidseitig bedruckte Karte (9) in der Maschine zu bewegen, um den Schutzfilm auf eine Seite der Karte (9) aufzubringen, um die Karte in der zweiten Wendevorrichtung (7) umzudrehen, um die Karte an den Eingang der Maschine (3) für das Aufbringen des Schutzfilms zurückzubringen, und um die Karte (9) von neuem in der Maschine (3) für das Aufbringen des Schutzfilms vorbeilaufen zu lassen, während sie ihre andere Seite mit dem Schutzfilm in Kontakt bringt.
  6. Drucksystem nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es weiter in dem Fall, in dem die zu bedruckende Karte eine Karte mit einem in einem Hohlraum der Karte angeordneten integrierten Schaltkreis ist, eine Maschine (5) zur elektrischen oder magnetischen Personalisierung des in dem Hohlraum angeordneten integrierten Schaltkreises aufweist.
  7. Drucksystem nach einem beliebigen der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es außerdem eine am Eingang des Systems angeordnete automatische Ladevorrichtung (10) für Karten und eine Stapelvorichtung (6) aufweist, die am Ausgang des Systems angeordnet ist.
