Description

The present invention relates to a piece of clothing with a slip opening according to US-A-4 783 858, especially one Sweater, with an upper, in the following Carrier layer called and one within the Carrier layer arranged waterproof or at least water-repellent, windproof and water vapor permeable Functional layer, both Layers with each other at least in the collar area are connected.

Clothing with a slip opening, such as sweaters that are used to undress and undress pulled over the head of the person wearing it, have the advantage that no special Closure devices, such as a zipper or a button bar, must be provided to to enable you to dress or undress. The missing such a closing device also comes generally the comfort, so that such Clothing in a wide variety Embodiments enjoy great popularity. Such items of clothing are known, for example, in knitted ones or in a knitted version, which is about Wool or be made from a fleece can. The latter are particularly in the sports and leisure sector now widespread.

Regardless of the particular embodiment of such Garments that are here according to the the actual meaning of the word "sweater" to be summarized, these indicate the Disadvantage on the one hand that they are permeable to water and on the other hand to a greater or lesser extent are permeable to wind. Therefore, it is especially at changeable, unstable weather with at least occasional occurrence of rain and / or wind necessary, in addition to the sweater, which is primarily used for Thermal protection is used, a rain and / or wind protection item of clothing to carry with you when needed to be able to wear over the sweater. Especially then when the protective clothing is not needed, it turns out to be inconvenient to carry them.

Sweaters have therefore been created on the the inside with a waterproof or water-repellent, windproof and water vapor permeable Material are lined. It can be are microporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The outer or backing material of such sweaters is usually very absorbent, so that it is in the rain soaked in water and left to dry for a long time needs.

The present invention is based on the object a slip-opening garment, in particular to create a sweater that not only without using an additional piece of protective clothing provides effective weather protection stays dry even when used in the rain.

This task is done with an item of clothing solved the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, this has a slip opening provided garment next to a backing layer, which are made of a known upper material, such as Wool, fleece or the like can be formed, an additional functional layer on the wind and rainproof or even waterproof and permeable to water vapor and depending on the needs on the outside Carrier layer or between the carrier layer and the person wearing the item of clothing can be. This is at least the functional layer connected to the backing layer in the collar area and can be turned inside out. in the Neck area is an access opening between the carrier layer and the functional layer are provided, which gives access to a space between releases the carrier layer and the functional layer, in which a hood can be put. The hood is there made of the same material as the functional layer.

The garment according to the invention enables two fundamentally different wearing configurations. In the first wearing configuration, the invention Item of clothing worn so that it to the outside appears as if it were a conventional, with a slip opening Garment. Here is the backing, so such as a knitted wool or a fleece, to the outside directed and the functional layer is between the Backing layer and the body of the garment wearer arranged. In this carrying configuration the hood is turned over in the space accessible via the access opening between the support layer and the functional layer in the neck area of the garment.

In the second wearing configuration is the functional layer turned outside and lies on the outside the carrier layer. Here is the hood mentioned space between the carrier layer and taken from the functional layer and is in an upturned state so that it over the head of the clothing wearer can be pulled. In this The functional layer ensures the carrying configuration for effective weather protection not only for the person wearing the clothing but also for the carrier layer, so that the carrier material in Rain can't get wet. This now ensures within the carrier layer arranged in the functional layer for thermal insulation.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention Garment is the functional layer waterproof, windproof and permeable to water vapor. This allows a particularly high Wearing comfort can be achieved as such Functional layer on the one hand effective weather protection, on the other hand, however, an escape of Body exhalation allows.

The functional layer can also be a thermoplastic Functional material having fibers is formed be that by rolling in the heated state a mesh size is reduced, which is to reject of water and windproofness, but still is permeable to water vapor. Such a thing Functional material can also be used with the carrier material be formed as an integrated composite material, wherein the functional material usually on the The inside of the composite material lies, that is to say Body of the wearer of the garment has. In This case can be used for the hood that can be fitted separate functional layer part can be provided.

The functional layer can be independent of its training be provided with a requirement that approximately consists of a plastic textile and one mechanical reinforcement for the functional layer forms. This edition can consist of a laminate layer exist, which are applied to the functional layer is.

In the connection area, the functional layer and the backing layer may be sewn together. About that but there are also other connection options conceivable. One is also possible Combination of seam and welded connection to create the Advantage of the high resilience of a seam connection with the advantage of high tightness of a welded joint connect to. In practice, this can by applying sweatbands to those of the Side of the functional layer remote from the carrier layer and be realized in the seam connection area.

For a particularly good fit of the functional layer towards the backing layer, it is also possible, in addition to a connection in the collar area an additional connection in the cuff area and / or to be provided in the waistband area. This can cause faults in the functional layer can be prevented, which affect the comfort could. It also will Put on and take off the garment facilitated.

A particularly advantageous development of the invention Garment is given if the Functional layer in the cuff area with an over the sleeve-like, stretchable, glove-like Sleeve process is provided. By means of such a Sleeve process it is possible to protect the weather, the the functional layer for the upper body and through the hood for the head of the garment wearer allows to extend on his hands.

A possible embodiment of the sleeve process can be the same as in the with the Description "jacket with gloves" under the file number G 92 08 145.2 at the German Patent Office Utility model application already described has been.

In addition, there is also the possibility the sleeve processes based on the one described above Train hood so that each sleeve extension through an access opening in the cuff area in a space between the carrier layer and the functional layer can be inserted.

The sleeve extension can be designed like a glove or as just the palm of your hand covering layer, which are attached to the hand can.

As a result, as already mentioned above described with the hood, depending on the weather the choice between two carrying configurations possible.

  • An exemplary embodiment of the item of clothing according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. Show it:
  • Figure 1 shows an embodiment of the garment according to the invention as a sweater in a first wearing configuration. and
  • Fig. 2 shows the garment shown in Fig. 1 in a second wearing configuration.
Die Funktionsschicht 12 besteht bei dem hier dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel vorzugsweise aus mikroporösem PTFE. 1 shows a pullover 10 with a carrier layer 11 designed as a knitted wool and a functional layer 12 arranged overlying it. The functional layer 12 in the exemplary embodiment shown here preferably consists of microporous PTFE.

    Für die Funktionsschicht geeignete Materialien umfassen mikroporöses gerecktes Polytetrafluorethylen (PTFE), wie es in den US-Patentschriften 3,953,566 und 4,187,390 beschrieben ist; gerecktes PTFE, das mit hydrophilen Imprägniermitteln und/oder Schichten versehen ist, wie es in der US-Patentschrift 4,194,041 beschrieben ist;
    atmungsfähige Polyurethanschichten; oder Elastomere, wie Copolyetherester und deren Laminate, wie es in den US-Patentschriften 4,725,481 und 4,493,870 beschrieben ist.
    Materials suitable for the functional layer include microporous stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as described in U.S. Patents 3,953,566 and 4,187,390; stretched PTFE provided with hydrophilic impregnating agents and / or layers as described in US Pat. No. 4,194,041;
    breathable polyurethane layers; or elastomers such as copolyether esters and their laminates as described in U.S. Patents 4,725,481 and 4,493,870.

    Die Funktionsschicht 12 ist mit einer hier nicht näher dargestellten, bei der Tragekonfiguration gem. Fig. 1 nach innen gerichteten Laminatauflage versehen, die, vorwiegend aus einem Kunststoffmaterial bestehend, für die Funktionsschicht eine mechanische Verstärkung bildet.The functional layer 12 is provided with a support configuration according to FIG. Fig. 1 provided inward facing laminate pad, which consists predominantly of a plastic material, forms a mechanical reinforcement for the functional layer.

    Bei dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist eine Verbindung zwischen der Trägerschicht 11 und der Funktionsschicht 12 nur in einem Halsbundbereich 13, der um eine Schlupföffnung 14 des Pullovers 10 angeordnet ist, vorgesehen. Somit ist die hier als vorzugsweise Zwei- oder Drei-Lagen-Laminat ausgebildete Funktionsschicht 12 quasi im Halsbundbereich 13 "eingehängt". Realisiert ist diese "eingehängte" Verbindung hier durch eine nicht näher dargestellte Nahtverbindung zwischen der Funktionsschicht 12 und der Trägerschicht 11, wobei zur Abdichtung der Nahtlöcher auf der Innenseite der Naht ein nicht näher dargestelltes Schweißband vorgesehen ist.In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 , a connection between the carrier layer 11 and the functional layer 12 is only provided in a collar region 13, which is arranged around a slip opening 14 of the sweater 10. Thus, the functional layer 12, which is preferably designed as a two- or three-layer laminate, is virtually “suspended” in the collar region 13. This “suspended” connection is realized here by a seam connection (not shown in detail) between the functional layer 12 and the carrier layer 11, a sweatband (not shown in detail) being provided to seal the seam holes on the inside of the seam.

    Die Funktionsschicht 12 stellt bei dem hier dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel hinsichtlich ihrer Form ein Abbild der äußeren Trägerschicht 11 dar und könnte somit auch als "Innen-Pullover" bezeichnet werden.The functional layer 12 provides the one shown here Embodiment in terms of their shape represents an image of the outer carrier layer 11 and could therefore also be referred to as an "inside sweater" become.

    Zu einem oberen Rückenteil 15 des Pullovers 10 hin ist im Halsbundbereich 13 zwischen der Trägerschicht 11 und der Funktionsschicht 12 eine Zugriffsöffnung 16 vorgesehen, die den Zugriff auf einen Zwischenraum 17 zwischen der Trägerschicht 11 und der Funktionsschicht 12 freigibt. In dem Zwischenraum 17 befindet sich eine Kapuze 18 in eingestülptem Zustand, die aus demselben Material wie die Funktionsschicht 12 gebildet ist und an diese angesetzt oder einstückig mit dieser ausgebildet sein kann.Towards an upper back part 15 of the sweater 10 is in the collar region 13 between the carrier layer 11 and the functional layer 12 an access opening 16 provided access to a space 17 between the carrier layer 11 and the functional layer 12 releases. In the space 17 there is a hood 18 in the turned-in state, made of the same material as the functional layer 12 is formed and attached to this or can be integrally formed with this.

    Wie in Fig. 1 für einen Ärmel 19 des Pullovers 10 dargestellt, ist die Funktionsschicht 12 in einem Ärmelbundbereich 20 mit einem hier fausthandschuhartig ausgebildeten Ärmelfortsatz 21 versehen, der sich in der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Tragekonfiguration in eingestülptem Zustand befindet. Durch die gestrichelte Darstellung der Kontur des Ärmelfortsatzes 21 in Fig. 1 soll angedeutet werden, daß sich dieser ähnlich der Kapuze 18 in einem hier nicht näher dargestellten Zwischenraum zwischen der Funktionsschicht 12 und der Trägerschicht 11 befindet.As shown in FIG. 1 for a sleeve 19 of the sweater 10, the functional layer 12 is provided in a sleeve waistband region 20 with a sleeve extension 21, which is designed here in the form of a glove, and which is in the inserted configuration in the wearing configuration shown in FIG. 1 . The dashed representation of the contour of the sleeve extension 21 in FIG. 1 is intended to indicate that, similar to the hood 18, it is located in an intermediate space (not shown here) between the functional layer 12 and the carrier layer 11.

    Fig. 2 zeigt den Pullover 10 in einer zweiten Tragekonfiguration, in der sowohl die Kapuze 18 als auch der handschuhartige Ärmelfortsatz 21 nach außen ausgestülpt sind. Darüber hinaus ist in dieser Tragekonfiguration die Funktionsschicht 12 nach außen gewendet, so daß im Vergleich mit der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Tragekonfiguration nunmehr die Trägerschicht 11 und die Funktionsschicht 12 in ihrer Relativanordnung vertauscht sind. 2 shows the sweater 10 in a second carrying configuration, in which both the hood 18 and the glove-like sleeve extension 21 are turned outwards. In addition, in this carrying configuration, the functional layer 12 is turned outward, so that the carrier layer 11 and the functional layer 12 are now reversed in their relative arrangement in comparison with the carrying configuration shown in FIG. 1 .

    Obwohl hier nicht näher dargestellt, kann der Ärmelfortsatz 21 mit einer Schlupföffnung versehen sein, die es der den Pullover 10 tragenden Person ermöglicht, auch in der in Fig. 2 dargestellten Tragekonfiguration die Hände aus den Ärmelfortsätzen 21 herausstrecken zu können.Although not shown in more detail here, the sleeve extension 21 can be provided with a slip opening which enables the person wearing the sweater 10 to be able to extend his hands out of the sleeve extensions 21 even in the wearing configuration shown in FIG. 2 .

    Bei dem in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen Bekleidungsstücks ist die Trägerschicht 11 aus einem Wollgestrick gebildet. Abweichend hiervon kann die Trägerschicht 11, die bei der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Tragekonfiguration als Oberstoff fungiert, aus einem beliebigen anderen Bekleidungsmaterial gebildet sein. Beispielsweise kann es sich bei der Trägerschicht 11 um einen gewebten oder gewirkten Stoff, oder auch um einen Vliesstoff handeln. Die beschriebenen Vorteile des erfindungsgemäßen Bekleidungsstücks sind auch erzielbar, wenn es sich nicht um ein mit einer Schlupföffnung versehenes Bekleidungsstück sondern um ein mit einer Schließeinrichtung, wie einem Reißverschluß oder einer Knopfleiste versehenen Bekleidungsstück handelt. Erfindungsgemäße Bekleidungsstücke können daher auch jackenartig ausgebildet sein.In the exemplary embodiment of the item of clothing according to the invention shown in FIGS . 1 and 2 , the carrier layer 11 is formed from a knitted wool. Deviating from this, the backing layer 11, which functions as the outer fabric in the wearing configuration shown in FIG. 1 , can be formed from any other clothing material. For example, the carrier layer 11 can be a woven or knitted fabric, or a nonwoven fabric. The described advantages of the item of clothing according to the invention can also be achieved if it is not an item of clothing provided with a slip opening but rather an item of clothing provided with a closing device, such as a zipper or a button strip. Clothing items according to the invention can therefore also be jacket-like.
