Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a piece of clothing with a slip opening according to US-A-4 783 858, especially one Sweater, with an upper, in the following Carrier layer called and one within the Carrier layer arranged waterproof or at least water-repellent, windproof and water vapor permeable Functional layer, both Layers with each other at least in the collar area are connected.
  • Clothing with a slip opening such as sweaters that are used to undress and undress pulled over the head of the person wearing it, have the advantage that no special Closure devices, such as a zipper or a button bar, must be provided to to enable you to dress or undress.
  • Closure devices such as a zipper or a button bar
  • the missing such a closing device also comes generally the comfort, so that such Clothing in a wide variety Embodiments enjoy great popularity.
  • Such items of clothing are known, for example, in knitted ones or in a knitted version, which is about Wool or be made from a fleece can. The latter are particularly in the sports and leisure sector now widespread.
  • Sweaters have therefore been created on the the inside with a waterproof or water-repellent, windproof and water vapor permeable Material are lined. It can be are microporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
  • PTFE microporous polytetrafluoroethylene
  • the outer or backing material of such sweaters is usually very absorbent, so that it is in the rain soaked in water and left to dry for a long time needs.
  • the present invention is based on the object a slip-opening garment, in particular to create a sweater that not only without using an additional piece of protective clothing provides effective weather protection stays dry even when used in the rain.
  • this has a slip opening provided garment next to a backing layer, which are made of a known upper material, such as Wool, fleece or the like can be formed, an additional functional layer on the wind and rainproof or even waterproof and permeable to water vapor and depending on the needs on the outside Carrier layer or between the carrier layer and the person wearing the item of clothing can be.
  • This is at least the functional layer connected to the backing layer in the collar area and can be turned inside out.
  • an access opening between the carrier layer and the functional layer are provided, which gives access to a space between releases the carrier layer and the functional layer, in which a hood can be put.
  • the hood is there made of the same material as the functional layer.
  • the garment according to the invention enables two fundamentally different wearing configurations.
  • the invention Item of clothing worn so that it to the outside appears as if it were a conventional, with a slip opening Garment.
  • the backing so such as a knitted wool or a fleece, to the outside directed and the functional layer is between the Backing layer and the body of the garment wearer arranged.
  • the hood is turned over in the space accessible via the access opening between the support layer and the functional layer in the neck area of the garment.
  • the functional layer turned outside and lies on the outside the carrier layer.
  • the functional layer ensures the carrying configuration for effective weather protection not only for the person wearing the clothing but also for the carrier layer, so that the carrier material in Rain can't get wet. This now ensures within the carrier layer arranged in the functional layer for thermal insulation.
  • Garment is the functional layer waterproof, windproof and permeable to water vapor. This allows a particularly high Wearing comfort can be achieved as such Functional layer on the one hand effective weather protection, on the other hand, however, an escape of Body exhalation allows.
  • the functional layer can also be a thermoplastic Functional material having fibers is formed be that by rolling in the heated state a mesh size is reduced, which is to reject of water and windproofness, but still is permeable to water vapor.
  • a thing Functional material can also be used with the carrier material be formed as an integrated composite material, wherein the functional material usually on the The inside of the composite material lies, that is to say Body of the wearer of the garment has. In This case can be used for the hood that can be fitted separate functional layer part can be provided.
  • the functional layer can be independent of its training be provided with a requirement that approximately consists of a plastic textile and one mechanical reinforcement for the functional layer forms.
  • This edition can consist of a laminate layer exist, which are applied to the functional layer is.
  • connection area the functional layer and the backing layer may be sewn together.
  • connection options conceivable.
  • Garment is given if the Functional layer in the cuff area with an over the sleeve-like, stretchable, glove-like Sleeve process is provided.
  • a Sleeve process it is possible to protect the weather, the the functional layer for the upper body and through the hood for the head of the garment wearer allows to extend on his hands.
  • a possible embodiment of the sleeve process can be the same as in the with the Description "jacket with gloves” under the file number G 92 08 145.2 at the German Patent Office Utility model application already described has been.
  • the sleeve extension can be designed like a glove or as just the palm of your hand covering layer, which are attached to the hand can.
  • the functional layer 12 in the exemplary embodiment shown here preferably consists of microporous PTFE.
  • Materials suitable for the functional layer include microporous stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as described in U.S. Patents 3,953,566 and 4,187,390; stretched PTFE provided with hydrophilic impregnating agents and / or layers as described in US Pat. No. 4,194,041; breathable polyurethane layers; or elastomers such as copolyether esters and their laminates as described in U.S. Patents 4,725,481 and 4,493,870.
  • PTFE microporous stretched polytetrafluoroethylene
  • the functional layer 12 is provided with a support configuration according to FIG. Fig. 1 provided inward facing laminate pad, which consists predominantly of a plastic material, forms a mechanical reinforcement for the functional layer.
  • a connection between the carrier layer 11 and the functional layer 12 is only provided in a collar region 13, which is arranged around a slip opening 14 of the sweater 10.
  • the functional layer 12 which is preferably designed as a two- or three-layer laminate, is virtually “suspended” in the collar region 13.
  • This “suspended” connection is realized here by a seam connection (not shown in detail) between the functional layer 12 and the carrier layer 11, a sweatband (not shown in detail) being provided to seal the seam holes on the inside of the seam.
  • the functional layer 12 provides the one shown here Embodiment in terms of their shape represents an image of the outer carrier layer 11 and could therefore also be referred to as an "inside sweater” become.
  • a hood 18 in the turned-in state made of the same material as the functional layer 12 is formed and attached to this or can be integrally formed with this.
  • the functional layer 12 is provided in a sleeve waistband region 20 with a sleeve extension 21, which is designed here in the form of a glove, and which is in the inserted configuration in the wearing configuration shown in FIG. 1 .
  • the dashed representation of the contour of the sleeve extension 21 in FIG. 1 is intended to indicate that, similar to the hood 18, it is located in an intermediate space (not shown here) between the functional layer 12 and the carrier layer 11.
  • FIG. 2 shows the sweater 10 in a second carrying configuration, in which both the hood 18 and the glove-like sleeve extension 21 are turned outwards.
  • the functional layer 12 is turned outward, so that the carrier layer 11 and the functional layer 12 are now reversed in their relative arrangement in comparison with the carrying configuration shown in FIG. 1 .
  • the sleeve extension 21 can be provided with a slip opening which enables the person wearing the sweater 10 to be able to extend his hands out of the sleeve extensions 21 even in the wearing configuration shown in FIG. 2 .
  • the carrier layer 11 is formed from a knitted wool.
  • the backing layer 11 which functions as the outer fabric in the wearing configuration shown in FIG. 1
  • the carrier layer 11 can be formed from any other clothing material.
  • the carrier layer 11 can be a woven or knitted fabric, or a nonwoven fabric.
