Die Erfindung besteht grundsätzlich darin, den mechanisch gefährdeten Bereich eines Kleidungsstückes mit einem auf der Außenseite des Kleidungsstücks befindlichen Protektor zu schützen, der mit dem Kleidungsstück nicht unmittelbar vernäht ist sondern mittelbar über mindestens einen textilen oder textilartigen Zwischenlappen, der einen Endes mit dem Protektor oder mit einem den Protektor haltenden Protektorträger mittels einer auch von dem Benutzer des Kleidungsstücks leicht zu öffnenden und wieder vernähbaren Naht und anderen Endes mit dem Kleidungsstück über eine ohnehin vorhandene, von dem Benutzer des Kleidungsstücks jedoch nicht oder nur unter erheblichen Problemen zu öffnende und wieder vernähbare Naht vernäht ist. Handelt es sich bei dem Kleidungsstück um ein solches mit einer wasserdichten, wasserdampfdurchlässigen Funktionsschicht, die einerseits mechanisch empfindlich ist und andererseits die Abdichtung von sie durchdringenden Nähten mittels Schweißband erfordert, braucht nur die Naht zwischen dem Zwischenlappen und dem Kleidungsstück mit Schweißband abgedichtet zu sein. Die Verbindungsnaht zwischen Zwischenlappen und Protektor bzw. Protektorträger braucht nicht mittels Schweißband abgedichtet zu sein, weil sich unterhalb des Zwischenlappens und des Protektors bzw. Protektorträgers Außenmaterial des Kleidungsstückes und darunter eine Funktionsschicht befindet, so daß die Naht zwischen Zwischenlappen und Protektor bzw. Protektorträger durchdringendes Wasser nicht auf die Innenseite des Kleidungsstückes gelangen kann. Diese Konstruktion weist den bedeutsamen Vorteil auf, daß der Benutzer des Kleidungsstückes dann, wenn der Protektor abgenutzt ist, die Naht zwischen dem Protektor bzw. Protektorträger und dem Zwischenlappen öffnen und einen neuen Protektor bzw. einen Protektorträger mit neuem Protektor an den Zwischenlappen annähen kann. Dies wäre nicht möglich, wenn der Protektor bzw. der Protektorträger unmittelbar mit dem Material des Kleidungsstückes vernäht wäre, da eine solche Naht unbedingt mit Schweißband abgedichtet werden muß, um ein Hindurchdringen von Wasser durch diese Naht und damit durch die Funktionsschicht hindurch zu verhindern. Eine derartige mit Schweißband abgedichtete Naht könnte der Benutzer des Kleidungsstückes zwar öffnen. Nach dem Annähen eines neuen Protektors bzw. Protektorträgers könnte der Benutzer die Naht jedoch nicht wieder mit Schweißband abdichten. daß als Zwischenlappen auf der Außenseite des Außenmaterials des Kleidungsstücks ein den mechanisch gefährdeten Bereich umgebender Rahmen (15) aus vorzugsweise wasserdampfdurchlässigem Textilmaterial angeordnet ist, dessen Rahmenaußenrand (23) über eine mittels Schweißbandes (27) abgedichtete Rahmenaußennaht (25) mit dem Außenmaterial und der Funktionsschicht und dessen Rahmeninnenrand (19) mittels einer nicht mit Schweißband abgedichteten Rahmeninnennaht (21) mit dem Protektor (11) oder einem mindestens einen Protektor (11) tragenden Protektorträger (13) vernäht ist, wobei der Protektor (11) bzw. der Protektorträger (13) den Rahmeninnenraum ausfüllt, und daß der Protektor (11) bzw. der Protektorträger (13) mit einem eine wasserdichte, wasserdampfdurchlässige Funktionsschicht aufweisenden Material (17; 35 bzw. 71) hinterlegt ist.Garment according to claim 3,

daß der Protektor (11) bzw der Protektorträger (13) mittels einer nicht mit Schweißband abgedichteten zweiten Naht (49,57,63,79)
   auf mindestens einer Seite mit einem entsprechenden Rand (77) des Hinterlegungsmaterials (35 bzw. 71), der den entsprechenden Teil des Lochrandes des Kleidungsstückmaterials überlappt,
   und auf den restlichen Seiten mit einem je entsprechenden Teil (45,55,61) des Lochrandes des Kleidungsstückmaterials vernäht ist,
und daß das Hinterlegungsmaterial (35 bzw. 71) dort, wo der Protektor (11) bzw. Protektorträger (13) mit dem Kleidungsstückmaterial vernäht ist, innerhalb des Kleidungsstückmaterials und dort, wo der Protektor (11) bzw. der Protektorträger (13) mit dem Hinterlegungsmaterial (35 bzw. 71) vernäht ist, außerhalb des Kleidungsstückmaterials angeordnet ist.Garment according to claim 3,
