    - and in that the cord tunnel comprises a cord tube (29) which encloses said cord (15) in waterproof manner and from the circumference of which laterally extends at least one attachment strip (31, 33) having its free end remote from the cord tube (29) sewn to the outer fabric (17) by means of a seam (21, 23) sealed by a sweatband.
  2. A drawstring arrangement according to claim 1,
    characterized in that two attachment strips (31, 33) extend laterally from the circumference of the cord tube (29), with the free ends thereof being sewn to the outer fabric (17).
  3. A drawstring arrangement according to claim 2,
    characterized in that the free ends of the two attachment strips (31, 33) are sewn to the outer fabric (17) by way of one seam each, such that said cord tube (29) is located substantially in the middle of the two seams (21, 23).
  4. A drawstring arrangement according to claim 2,
    characterized in that the free ends of the two attachment strips (31, 33) are sewn to the outer fabric (17) by the same seam (21).
  5. A drawstring arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterized in that the cord tube (29) and the at least one attachment strip (31, 33) are formed integrally from the same band material, and in that the cord tube (29) is made by - as seen in cross-section - a loop formed from said band material, with said loop being closed in waterproof manner at the transition between said loop and said attachment strip (31, 33).
  6. A drawstring according to claim 5,
    characterized in that the cord tube (29) is closed in waterproof manner at the transition between said loop and said at least one attachment strip (31, 33) by means of an adhesive seam (35).
  7. A drawstring arrangement according to claim 5,
    characterized in that said cord tube (29) is closed by sewing at the transition between said loop and said at least one attachment strip (31, 33) and the sewing seam (37) employed therefor is sealed by means of a sweatband (39).
  8. A drawstring arrangement according to claim 5,
    characterized in that said cord tube (29) is closed by sewing at the transition between said loop and said at least one attachment strip (31), and in that a sweatband (25) is sealed onto the side of the seam (21) facing the wearer of the article of clothing and a second sweatband (43) is welded between the inside of the outer fabric (17) and the side of the attachment strip (33) facing the inside of the outer fabric (17).
  9. A drawstring arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 8,
    characterized in that the outer fabric (17) and the functional layer are combined to form at least a two-layer laminate.
  10. A drawstring arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 9,
    characterized in that the cord tube (29) and the at least one attachment strip (31, 33) are formed by a laminate comprising a functional layer of the same kind as that provided on the outer fabric (17).
  11. A drawstring arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 10,
    characterized in that the functional layer is provided with a textile knit fabric layer on at least one side.
  12. A drawstring arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 11,
    characterized in that said functional layer is formed of microporous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
  13. An article of clothing, in particular a jacket or coat, characterized by a drawstring arrangement according to any one of claims 1 to 12.
