Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a ski boot comprising a rigid shell base on which is at least partially articulated a rod consisting of a front cover and a rear cover, the front cover being pivotally mounted in the end region of the hull base and covering a longitudinal slot made in its upper front part.
  • transverse tongues On either side of the longitudinal slot of the front cover of such a shoe are defined two transverse tongues which are joined together by at least one flexible traction element or rigid interposed between an anchoring element of one of the transverse tabs and a operation integral with the other transverse tongue to constitute an internal clamping device of the foot.
  • a shoe of this type is described in European patent application No. 479,123, in which the front cover is susceptible to vertical movement when the rod is open. The travel is authorized via a link device with the hull base which determines the amplitude of the displacement relative to a reference stop.
  • the internal tightening of the foot is carried out by means of a device. acting on the internal transverse tongues by initially bearing on said front cover, and transmitting the clamping force by a traction element, for example a cable, the path of which is predetermined and includes angle reference members.
  • a traction element for example a cable
  • a shoe is also known according to Italian patent application No. 82 559 A / 86, the shell base is not covered by a cover, but closed only by the tabs transverse acting on the foot both in clamping and overlapping.
  • an internal clamping device of the foot whose particularity is to exert an action support of the underside of the foot and the arch of the foot, by means of placed and acting on the hull tabs.
  • These means are constituted by a body integral with a anchoring element, of a traction cable or of an operating member of this cable, and sliding in a light of the tabs.
  • the present invention aims to remedy all these drawbacks known in the prior art.
  • a ski boot comprising a rigid shell base on which is at least partially articulated a rod consisting of a front cover and a rear cover, the cover front being pivotally mounted in the end area of the shell base and covering a slot longitudinal made in its upper front part, on either side of which are defined two transverse tongues which are joined together by at least one flexible traction element or rigid interposed between an anchoring element of one of the transverse tabs and a operation integral with the other transverse tongue to constitute an internal clamping device of the foot.
  • This shoe is characterized in that the anchoring element as well as the maneuver are integral with each of the transverse tabs by means of spacers on which they are fixedly mounted, so as to define them by their respective plans and the upper planes of each of the corresponding tabs, a space of substantially equal height at the thickness "e" of the front cover, accommodating itself there freely by means of sliding lights transverse thereof which are crossed by said spacers, and which are covered by said lower planes of the anchoring element and of the operating member, so as to ensure a permanent pressing of said front cover against the tabs in a vertical direction, while allowing its free sliding on them in a transverse direction, and that whatever the relative position of tabs, whether they are close together in the active clamping position or, on the contrary, distant position released.
  • the shoe is given a footwear volume real compared to that of the foot.
  • the essential object achieved by the invention is to provide a waterproof shoe the front cover of which is in permanent contact, in a sliding manner, on transverse tabs movable according to the tightening to be obtained on the foot by means of an external device acting directly on them, without connection with the hood which is only driven.
  • the ski boot which is shown in Figures 1 to 5 has a rigid shell bottom on which is articulated a rod 2 with a front cover 3 and a rear cover 4.
  • the bottom of the shell 1 has an upper longitudinal slot 5 for introducing the foot which extends from the toe 6 of the shoe up to the heel 7.
  • This slot 5 is delimited, among other things, by vertical extensions 8 in the area malleoli and vertical extensions 9 in the forefoot area, the end of these ending in the form of transverse tabs 9 ', 9' ', and overlapping at least partially to wrap the top of the forefoot.
  • the rear cover 4 is pivotable on the shell 1 in the heel area around an axis horizontal transverse 10 and the front cover 3, around attachment points 11 located near the end 6 of the shoe.
  • the rear cover 4 is obtained with two lateral wings 12 which surround on the one hand, the vertical extensions 8 of the bottom of the shell 1 on which they snap into place holes 14 'on studs in room 14, and on the other hand, at least partially the rear part vertical 13 of the front cover 3.
  • the rear cover 4 thus constitutes, in association with a device for connection 15 of the wings 12, the collar for closing the rod 2 on the lower leg of the skier.
  • this is obtained in one piece in the form of a curved gutter straddling the slot 5 at the bottom of the shell 1 through its rear part 13 on the lower leg area, and through its part anterior 16 on the forefoot area.
  • the latter covers the tabs 9 ', 9' ', and at least partially the vertical extensions 9 which form the walls of the bottom of the shell 1, approximately directly above the instep area.
  • the shoe shown comprises, according to the invention, an internal tightening device of the foot 17 constituted by a flexible traction element 18 interposed between an anchoring element, in in this case a rack 19 secured to one of the transverse tongues 9 '', and a member operation or lever 20 secured to the other transverse tongue 9 ′ by a yoke 25.
  • the role of the device 17 is to simultaneously ensure the opening or closing control of the front cover 3, and the internal tightening of the foot in the shoe by action on the tongues 9 'and 9' ', by means of the lever 20 and the traction element 18, engaged with a notch of the rack 19, chosen according to the tightening to be obtained.
  • the tabs 9 'and 9' 'defined by the longitudinal slot 5 of the front cover 3, are of dimensions such as to ensure their overlap at above the foot.
  • the anchoring element or rack 19, as well as the operating member 20 are integral with each of the transverse tongues 9 'and 9''by means of spacers 21 on which they are fixedly mounted, so as to define between their respective lower planes 19 a , 20 a and the upper planes 9 ' a and 9'' a of each of the corresponding tabs 9', 9 '', a space 22 of height "h" substantially equal at the thickness "e" of the part 16 of the front cover 3 which is freely housed therein by means of transverse sliding lights 23 thereof which are crossed by said spacers 21, and which are covered by said lower planes 19 a , 20 a , of the anchoring element 19 and of the operating member 20.
  • intermediate spacers 21 on which the anchoring element 19 is fixed and the operating member 20 are cylindrical studs and are capable of receiving screws in their center fixing 24 of said anchoring elements 19 and operating member 20.
  • the cylindrical studs 21 constituting the spacers have a diameter "d" less than the width "l" transverse lights 23 of the cover 3 which they pass through, so as to allow their free transverse sliding as a function of the relative position of the tongues 9 ', 9' '.
  • the sliding slots 23 are of generally oblong shape and are open out on the longitudinal edges 16a and / or 16b of the front part 16 of the front cover 3 or are closed. These lights 23 can also be alternating through and closed on one side, and closed and through on the other.
  • the lower surface of the base of the rack 19 which embodies the map 19 a is of greater dimensions than those of the corresponding sliding slot 23, at least in its width "l ", that is to say in the longitudinal direction of the front part 16 of the cover 3.
  • the yoke 25 on which the tilting lever 20 is articulated has a lower surface which materializes the lower plane 20 a , of dimensions greater than those of the corresponding sliding lumen 23, at least in its width "l", c that is to say in the longitudinal direction of said cover 3.
  • the shoe shown differs essentially from the previous one in that the transverse tabs 26, 27 defined by the slot longitudinal 5 of the front cover 3 are of such dimensions that they face each other one of the other in a non-contiguous manner. All the other components of the shoe are identical to those described above and are therefore not redefined.
  • the sliding of the rack 19 and the operating member 20 can be improved with respect to the front part 16 of the cover 3, by interposing between them a friction element, for example by tinsel or plastic.
