Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for the combustion of pollutants from exhaust gas purification loaded adsorbents, especially carbon-containing absorbents, such as. B. activated coke, one Incinerator for household waste or household-like waste, with pre and post separation of pollutants released during combustion, with an adsorbent, especially brown coal coke, for the separation of organic harmful and / or inorganic Residues are used and the adsorbent loaded in the adsorber before its combustion is ground.
- adsorbents especially carbon-containing absorbents, such as. B. activated coke, one Incinerator for household waste or household-like waste, with pre and post separation of pollutants released during combustion, with an adsorbent, especially brown coal coke, for the separation of organic harmful and / or inorganic Residues are used and the adsorbent loaded in the adsorber before its combustion is ground.
- activated coke loaded with pollutants is normally legally declared as hazardous waste be disposed of in a hazardous waste incineration plant, unless it can be proven that the additional combustion in their own plant does not increase the pollution becomes.
- the combustion of substances containing coal dust and also of activated coke is from DE-OS 3036504 known, but in the known systems there is the disadvantage that unburned substances containing pollutants can get onto the grate or into the ash funnel, so that the Pollutants also increase the amount of pollutants in the ashes and therefore not in the sense of legal exception are to be treated. In other words, the ashes should be one additional cleaning or special constructions are selected.
- DE 39 29 663 A1 discloses a method for the thermal treatment of contaminated soil in a rotary kiln, in which the polluted coke from the flue gas cleaning is ground and burned together with the fuel in the rotary kiln.
- the invention has therefore set itself the task of addressing the disadvantages and Combustion or preparation for combustion so that no additional organic Pollutant release, especially dioxins and furans on the gas or solid side, is released becomes.
- the adsorbent loaded in the adsorber before it Combustion in particular ground to a grain size distribution of 90% less than 90 ⁇ m, and via a burner, which is placed on the main burner designed as a waste incineration grate Incinerator is already burned completely before contact with the grate ash.
- the ground adsorbent is burned using a burner with auxiliary firing becomes.
- the adsorbent is preferably burned in a calorific value ratio of about 1: 100 more essential refinements of the invention are specified in subclaims 4-7.
- a dusty and gaseous Exhaust gas laden with pollutants is generated, which is first dry, for example in an electrostatic filter 2 and then cleaned wet in a gas washer.
- the gas that still contains residual pollutants is in a solid filter 4, for example, adsorber, which can be designed as an activated coke filter the residual pollutants and finally the chimney 6 and thus the free via a blower 5 Atmosphere.
- the solid matter (activated coke) is loaded with the pollutants in the solid matter filter 4 and deducted, the amount withdrawn replaced by fresh adsorbent via the feed 7 becomes.
- the loaded solid is stored in the intermediate storage 8 and fed to a grinding device 9 in which the coarse grain is ground to a grain size at which 90% are smaller than 90 ⁇ m.
- the ground solid is again stored in an intermediate storage 10 and from there continuously fed to the combustion chamber 1, the combustion of the loaded adsorbent at normal waste incineration temperature, for example 800 ° C with a minimum residence time of 2 seconds is carried out, the combustion being carried out so that the adsorbent before its possible contact with the grate or with ash on the grate Fuel or is burned before it comes into contact with the ash, so that no pollutants from the Adsorbent combustion get into the ashes.
- Activated coke in particular brown coal coke
- a solid with a high active surface can be used, the organic part can be completely burned. So that the firing is carried out continuously can be and the streak formation of the resulting pollutant is minimized, it is on one Main firing such as B. directed waste incineration grate or the combustion takes place via a Support firing.
- the combustion rate of the adsorbent is chosen so that the calorific value ratio of the burned adsorbent to those of the main firing is about 1: 100.
- the Adsorbent combustion Preheated air is fed via line 11 to accelerate the oxidation. In In a waste incineration plant, for example, 1 to 10 garbage burned on the grate kg of laden dust-like adsorbent burned.
- the invention is not only limited to waste incineration plants, but can also Metal melting plants such as B. shaft furnaces, blast furnaces are used, in particular in scrap metal processing, when chlorine-containing scrap is used and in the exhaust gases Dioxins and / or furans are included.
- the one loaded with pollutant The adsorbent is applied to the melt and oxidized there, becoming part of the deoxidizing agent, especially when activated carbon is used.
- non-oxidizable pollutants such as SOx and / or HCl not accumulate in the system, it is essential that 4 pollutant sinks such as z.
- B. electrostatic precipitators (mainly for heavy metal dusts) and also wet scrubbers for separating the volatile heavy metals and acid-forming pollutants, such as SO 2 and HCl, may be provided in several stages using various absorbents, on which the majority of the pollutants are absorbed and thus separated .
