Definitions
- the invention relates to an insulating plate of rectangular basic shape, consisting of wedge-shaped plate elements that abut one another on their wedge surfaces and can be moved against one another with guidance on the wedge surfaces and can be cut into a smaller rectangular format, and on edge surfaces that move apart or on the wedge surfaces preferably move together, have a tongue and groove arrangement.
- Such an insulation board is known from DE-A-32 43 601. It has a tongue and groove arrangement with a special design in the corners on the edge surfaces that move apart or move together when moving on the wedge surfaces.
- DE-A-30 22 475 relates to an insulation board with a layer of mineral wool and a layer of polystyrene particle foam.
- the object of the invention is to provide an insulation board of the type mentioned which can be easily cut and laid.
- a preferred embodiment of the insulation board has a tongue and groove arrangement only on two edge surfaces, and preferably those that move together on the wedge surfaces when the plate elements are moved.
- the basic shape of the plate has its smallest width, and it can be adjusted by moving the plate elements, in particular to adapt to the rafter spacing widen.
- the edge surfaces of the plate adjoining the rafters are flat, and the edge surfaces running transversely to the rafters are provided with the tongue and groove arrangement.
- the insulation board according to the invention has a tongue and groove arrangement on all four edge surfaces. This enables larger areas to be insulated with good windproofness and without thermal bridges at the joint of adjacent panels.
- a groove is preferably formed on one edge surface of the plate and a tongue is formed on the opposite edge surface. This is particularly simple in terms of manufacturing and assembly.
- the insulation board according to the invention has a tongue and groove arrangement also on the wedge surfaces.
- the one wedge-shaped plate element can have a groove and the other plate element can have a tongue. This also ensures good windproofness in the area of the wedge surfaces, and counteracts the formation of thermal bridges on the wedge surfaces.
- the tongue and groove arrangement also makes it easier to cut the insulation board exactly to the dimension of the rafter spacing before installation.
- the plate elements of the insulation board according to the invention can be in one piece, made of the same material and provided with slots for division.
- a preferred material for the plate elements is foam, in particular polystyrene particle foam.
- the plate elements of the insulation board according to the invention can, however, also be constructed in multiple layers from layers of the same or different material, the tongue and groove arrangement preferably being produced by layer offset and the division preferably being achieved by lack of layer adhesion.
- the plate elements have a middle layer of mineral fiber or glass fiber and outer layers of foam, in particular polystyrene particle foam.
- the insulation board combines the good sound insulation properties of mineral fiber or glass fiber with the good thermal insulation properties of polystyrene particle foam.
- the latter material has the property of being water-repellent, so that water absorption by the mineral fiber or glass fiber layer and the associated increase in thermal conductivity and deterioration in the thermal insulation effect are counteracted.
- the outer layers of the insulation board are preferably of the same thickness.
- the plate has no special inside and outside, but two equivalent mounting positions, which makes it easier to use.
- the layers of the plate are preferably glued together in contact.
- the division according to the invention can be achieved in a simple manner by not gluing in the corresponding plate areas.
- the insulation panels 10, 60, 70 consist of materials with sound and / or heat insulating properties that can be cut, in particular foam, mineral fiber or glass fiber.
- the plates according to FIGS. 1 to 10 are uniform in material. For example, they can consist of polystyrene particle foam.
- 11 to 13 has a three-layer structure with a middle layer 72 mineral fiber or glass fiber and outer layers 74 foam, in particular polystyrene particle foam.
- the insulation boards 10, 60, 70 have a rectangular basic shape. They are constructed from wedge-shaped plate elements 12, 14, which can be imagined by dividing the plates 10, 60, 70 along a straight line that runs approximately diagonally from one narrow side of the plates 10, 60, 70 to the other narrow side.
- the plate elements 12, 14 are trapezoidal. Triangular plate elements resulting from diagonal division are also conceivable (not shown).
- the plate elements 12, 14 have a continuous groove 16 on one narrow-side edge surface 52 and a continuous tongue 18 on the other narrow-side edge surface 42, which fits into the groove 16 of an adjacent plate 10 . Furthermore, the plate element 12 with the longer groove 16 on the wedge surface 20 has a groove 22, and the plate element 14 with the longer tongue 18 on the wedge surface 20 has a tongue 24 which fits into the wedge surface groove 22 of the other plate element 12.
- the grooves 16, 22 are located halfway up the plate elements 12, 14 and have a rectangular cross section.
- the springs 18, 24 protrude with a suitable rectangular cross section halfway up the plate elements 12, 14.
- the plate elements 12, 14 can be moved against each other in the guide guaranteed by tongue and groove engagement 22, 24 on their wedge surfaces 20 to the insulation board 10 z. B. in adaptation to the rafter spacing of a pitched roof.
- protruding corners 26, 28 of the plate elements 12, 14 must be cut off and an extension of the groove 16 of the plate element 12 with the longer groove from the other plate element 14 and an extension of the tongue 18 of the plate element 14 a spring can be worked out of the longer spring from the other plate element 12.
- the plate elements 12, 14 are provided in the area of the corners 26, 28 to be cut with two slots 30, 32 which extend parallel to the plane of the plate at the level of the groove side walls 34 or spring outer sides 36.
- the depth of the slots is limited by a baseline 58 running parallel to the narrow sides of the plate 10.
- the slot side walls or tongue outer sides of the slots and tongues to be worked out when the corners 26, 28 are cut off are predetermined by the slots 30, 32.
- the outer layers 38 of the plate element 12 divided off by the slots 30 are first cut off from the corner 26 at the level of the line 40 in the extension of the edge surface 42.
- the middle layer 44 between the slots 30 is accessible and cut off at the level of the line 46 in the extension of the outer spring edge 48.
- all three layers 38, 44 are first cut off from the corner 28 at the level of the line 50 in the extension of the edge surface 52 and then the middle layer 44 between the slots 32 is cut out at the level of the line 54 in the extension of the base 56 of the groove.
- the insulation board 60 according to FIGS. 7 to 10 differs from the previously described insulation board 10 only in that it also has a tongue and groove arrangement on the broad sides.
- the Plate element 12 with the longer groove has a continuous tongue 62 on the broad side edge surface 66
- the plate element 14 with the longer tongue has a continuous groove 64 on the broad side edge surface 68, into which the tongue 62 of an adjacent plate 60 fits.
- the construction of tongue and groove on the broad sides corresponds to that on the narrow sides and wedge surfaces 20.
- the insulation board 70 according to FIGS. 11 to 13 corresponds in its geometric structure to the insulation board 10 according to FIGS. 1 to 6. It therefore has a tongue and groove arrangement only on the narrow sides and wedge surfaces 20.
- the plate elements 12, 14 of the insulation board 70 consist of a middle layer 72 of mineral fiber or glass fiber and outer layers 74 of foam on both sides, in particular polystyrene particle foam.
- the thickness of the outer layers 74 is the same.
- the layers 72, 74 are glued together on their contact surface.
- the tongue and groove arrangement of the insulation board 70 is produced by layer offset.
- the middle layer 72 has residue from the outer layers 74.
- the middle layer 72 protrudes beyond the outer layers 74.
- the insulation board 70 can be widened by moving the board elements 12, 14 on the wedge surfaces 20.
- the layers 72, 74 are not glued to one another in the region of these corners 26, 28 indicated by curved brackets.
- an insulation board 60 according to FIGS. 7 to 10 can also be realized with a multilayer structure, which has a tongue and groove arrangement on all sides.
- a multilayer structure which has a tongue and groove arrangement on all sides.
- foam in particular polystyrene particle foam, a low-density material of in particular less than 15 kg / m3, preferably about 8 kg / m3, is recommended.
- the foam can be elasticized by pressing to improve its elasticity and sound insulation properties.
