Definitions
- the present invention is based on an electrical snap switch according to the preamble of the main claim.
- Snap-action spring mechanisms are in a wide variety of designs known. The common goal is the actual switching speed, the shifting force and the shift travel independently make of the operation of the switch.
- EP-A-0 329 847 (DE 3807411 A1) describes a snap-action switching element according to the preamble of claim 1, in which a contact bridge over a straight in the housing Slider is operated. The slider in turn is over a snap spring mechanism by means of a spring-loaded Plunger activated, again in the slide on both sides Engage the rocker arm.
- the effort for the separation of functions is considerable and leads to a complicated structure.
- a snap spring with an in a spring-loaded tongue is supported by Plunger actuated, each on the two outer legs of the Snap spring act. The current flows from the storage at the clamped end over the outer legs of the spring and from the spring tongue bearing to the spring tongue Contact points.
- DE 3438304 A1 shows a double snap spring of the aforementioned Design, with the spring in the middle between the switching function areas is stored.
- Flat switching tappets actuate the individual snap springs on the outer legs of the Feather.
- DE 38 01 991 C2 shows a toggle switch with two integrated Snap-action elements that depend on the position of the rocker arm can be operated.
- Appropriate plungers act each on the two outer legs of the snap-action switching elements, whose spring tongues are clamped in support bearings under pre-tension are.
- the current flows from the storage at the clamped end over the outer legs and from the spring tongue bearing over the spring tongue to the contact head. To be sufficient To ensure contacting, only one point of the crowned must Contact head with the mating contact.
- DE 4003241 C2 shows a pressure switch with an integrated one Snap spring.
- EP 0 074 004 A2 is a pressure switch known, arranged in the housing two fixed contact points are connected by a contact bridge.
- a Actuator acts on the contact bridge via a bow spring.
- the forward stroke is made using round wire Bow spring triggered a snap effect to a defined Switching behavior and a satisfactory contact achieve.
- the return stroke takes place by means of an additional compression spring, without which a return stroke could not take place.
- the switch shows the type of return stroke from actuation dependent switching behavior.
- the contact bridge and the bow spring are not in direct operative connection, so that the switching behavior is influenced by several tolerances and only in this Frame is defined.
- the object of the invention is to provide a switch with a snap spring effect to create separate solutions for mechanical Function "switching” and the electrical function "contacts bridging "involves, by design and choice of the materials an extremely favorable overall result in terms of functionality, small number of parts and high Ease of assembly should be achieved.
- the object is achieved in that the Snap-action switching element made in one piece from a round wire and that the contact element within the snap switching element is gimbaled.
- the mounting base required for a leaf spring Conductor material is omitted, the wire spring is stored through a base that is part of an existing one anyway Isolierstoffgeophuses, which is also the purpose of Switching points to be contacted, e.g. B. in the form of Conductor tracks, carries.
- the conductor tracks can be made of round or with flat wires or printed conductor tracks There are contact rivets.
- the snap switching element is actuated by a plunger, that act on the outer legs of the spring. So it is possible, all common switching principles such as pressure, rocker, Sliding, pulling, turning and tilting operation to be realized under With the help of commonly known mechanical aids such as Lever, angle lever, inclined plane, cam, eccentric, Knob disk and the like.
- An electric snap switch 1 the general in advance described type, z. B. NC / NO contacts mainly together from a housing 2, one in the housing 2 slidably guided actuator 3, the one Actuator 3 associated snap switching element 4, one Contact element 5, and at least two current-carrying Contact points 6 and 7.
- the snap switching element 4 is a curved round wire spring with a side 9 in one Bearing 10 of the carrier 8 is added. From one opposite side 11 projects an upwardly curved U-shaped Spring 12 into the snap-action switching element 4, which is in another bearing 13 of the carrier 8 under lighter Preload is supported.
- the spring 12 is preferably as wide designed as there are side legs 14 and 15 of the frame-like Allow snap switch element 4.
- the contact element 5 is installed by an opening 20 in the snap switching element 4, by this at Pressing the contact element 5 is opened slightly springy, until the contact element 5 has reached its position.
- the Contact element 5 is for manufacturing reasons mainly round, but can also be in the area of its spherical contact surfaces 21 and 22 elongated and / or oval run when e.g. B. larger contact distances or Clearance of the conductor tracks make this necessary. In this Case is a housing side not shown here Protection against rotation necessary.
- the contact surfaces 21 and 22 can be straight on one or both sides or crowned as shown be carried out.
- the contact element 5 acts in the dashed switching position as a bridge and closes the contact between the contact points 6 and 7, executed in the example with round wires Conductor material provided in the housing 2 Wells 23 and 24 lie and in a manner not shown being held. They are part of the internal switch Wiring.
- the snap-action switching element 4 is open on its side 9. In order to the lateral legs 14 and 15 are not under stress can move out of the bearing 10, are on both sides in Housing 2 guide elements 25 and 26 provided.
- the provision is made via the Snap-action switching element 4 itself.
- Other actuation options of the guided in the part of the housing 2, not shown Actuator 3 are of course levers and angle levers as well Rocker, slide across the direction of actuation with wedge or Tapered elements, cam or eccentric discs.
- the snap switch 1 works from an upper rest position as a closer when in the dashed position is switched, vice versa as a break contact. Also in the upper position, two are not closer illustrated conductor tracks instead of an insulated one Contacted point of contact, there is a changeover function.
- Figures 2 to 4 are limited to the representation of the Snap-action switching element 4 and show variants that Actuation of the snap switching element 4 a possible Counteract spreading of the lateral legs 14, 15.
- the frame-like, curved construction to promote the Snap effect briefly leaves one under pressure outward movement of the lateral legs 14, 15 to, so that the storage of the contact element 5 meanwhile is undefined.
- the inner legs 17, 18 of the snap-action switching element 4 according to Figure 2 are after assembly of the contact element 5 with a Bracket 27 held together.
- the bracket 27 supports the constricting effect of the spring 12 between the contact element 5 and Depository 13.
- FIG. 3 shows a wire section 28 on both sides of the opening 20 attached to the side 11 of the snap-action switching element 4.
- the Connection between the wire section 28 and the Snap-action switching element 4 is rigid and can be used Welding, soldering, crimping or similar permanent Fastening methods are done.
- FIG 4 Another variant of the snap-action switching element 4 is shown in FIG 4 shown.
- the inner 17, 18 and outer legs 14, 15 cross each other once, so that the actuation of the Snap-action switching element 4 then causes a constriction the opening 20 results.
- the contact element 5 is thus always stored safely.
