Definitions
- the invention relates to a contact element according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a contact element see, for example, FR-A-1 104 595
- FR-A-1 104 595 is known in the form of soldered connections, for example in the busbar connection of the heating conductors of vehicle rear window heaters.
- this type of connection has proven to be unsuitable, especially for series production, because machine soldering in a machine is not possible without damage to the contact surface due to the special material selection and attachment of the contact surface required for application to glass.
- the known solder connections of such contact points are made manually even in large quantities.
- this procedure is complicated and requires particularly experienced professionals.
- a still high reject rate of up to 1.5% cannot be avoided.
- extensive tests are necessary to determine the errors and to avoid complaints as far as possible, so that the known connection is burdened with disproportionately high manufacturing costs.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a contact element to create the kind mentioned above, the simplest possible, cost-saving and can be produced mechanically with a low reject rate.
- the contact reliability can be easily adapted to the requirements of the individual case by appropriate choice of the size of the contact pressure and the contact area and the material of the contact part.
- the contact part is equipped with a large plate made of highly conductive material (copper) resting on the busbar.
- the division of the contact element into a contact and a holding part enables largely independent versions of these two Parts and thus an optimization in terms of their function. So can e.g. the holding part can be glued to the pane without the contact to affect. The choice of materials is also without influence to the other part.
- the clamping contact is realized by at least one clamping screw which, although it has to be actuated, on the other hand enables an arbitrarily high contact pressure and thus enables adaptation to the most varied requirements.
- the compression spring can be a separate part be arranged around a mandrel, for example.
- An embodiment of the contact element according to claim is particularly advantageous 7, in which the contact part is detachably fastened in the contact holder, so that in the event of repairs or replacement of the glass support the supply line and the contact part are not dismantled but only from the contact holder must be solved.
- the thickness of the contact element is as small as possible required.
- An embodiment according to claim 8 is special for this suitable because it allows a minimal height above the glass support.
- a releasable attachment according to claim 9 has the advantage that Establishing the attachment does not require any measures since the locking takes place automatically when joining the contact part and holder, and that only a simple handle is required to release the catch is, namely the pushing out of a locking lug from a locking projection.
- these locking elements can be placed anywhere on the contact holder and contact part or be attached to the compression spring. Particularly easy it is, however, if the one piece with the contact part or attached thereto Compression spring with the free end part a projection of the contact holder engages behind.
- An embodiment of the contact element according to claim 10 is particularly advantageous for applications in which the connecting line is already with a connector pin and then only in the simplest Way designed socket must be inserted.
- the contact holder can be attached to the glass carrier in any manner.
- This mechanical stability of the attachment is further increased by a design of the contact holder made of ceramic (claim 12), because the temperature-dependent expansion coefficients of glass and ceramic are similar, so that the mechanical stresses between the cable holder and the glass support are so low even with strong temperature fluctuations that they Do not significantly affect the strength of the bracket.
- Figures 1 and 2 each show a partially sectioned perspective View of a first and a second embodiment in Principle representation.
- a contact holder 1 made of insulating material is provided, which is glued to a metal foil 4 which is designed as a busbar for heating wires 2 and is applied to a vehicle rear window 3.
- the contact holder 1 is shaped like a lid with three identical edge parts 5, a shorter connection-side edge part 5 'and a cover part 6.
- the edge parts 5 are glued to the busbar 4 with their free bottom surfaces 7, the bottom part 7' of the edge part 5 'and the Busbar 4 remains an opening for the introduction of a contact part.
- the contact part 8 in two parts: it consists of a copper plate 9 and a leaf spring 10, with an end portion 11 of the flanged plug-side end part 12 of the copper plate 9 is clamped and with the other, stop-side End section 13 with mounted contact element under pressure on the Inner surface 14 of the cover part 6 rests.
- On the connection-side end part 15 is the stripped end 16 of one provided with an insulating jacket 17 Copper braid 18 soldered.
- the contact part 8 provided with the bond tape 18 is also used the plug end part 12 ahead through the funnel-shaped end widened opening between the bottom surface 7 'and the busbar 4 in inserted the contact holder 1, the copper plate 9 through the Pressure of the leaf spring 10 supported on the cover part 6 with the total Bottom surface rests on the busbar 4 and contacts it. In this position, it also engages behind the end face of the connection side End section 13, the inner shoulder 19 of the connection-side edge part 5 ' and is therefore absolutely vibration-proof against slipping out of the contact holder 1 secured.
- this latching is simple by depressing the leaf spring 10 by means of an opening 20 the pin-shaped object (e.g. a Screwdriver blade) releasable.
- the contact holder 1 is very simple and inexpensive to manufacture as a series part in the die casting process.
- the contact part 8 is also suitable for machine production with a minimum reject rate, both with regard to the production of the copper plate 9 and the leaf spring 10 and their clamp connection (stamping and bending method) and the soldered connection of the copper plate 9 and copper strip 18.
- the separation into an actual contact piece (copper plate 9) and a leaf spring 10 which generates the contact pressure also gives the advantage that the material for these parts can be optimally adapted to the respective requirements.
- the contact element for high currents in that the actual contact piece is designed as a plate 9 made of highly conductive material (copper), the leaf spring 10 made of spring plate acting on the entire width of the copper plate 8 by means of a strong spring bears extensively on the busbar 4 to be contacted.
- the contact part 21 is also a one-piece stamped and bent part made of spring sheet metal, which can also be produced practically free of rejects, the section of which in the contact holder 1 consists of an upper part 22 and a lower part which is angled by 180 ° and bears against the busbar 4 23 exists.
- a tongue acting as a compression spring 24 is punched out of the upper part 22 and bent out in such a way that it rests under pressure on the inner surface 14 of the cover part 6 and at the same time with its free end edge on the shoulder 19.
- This locking bracket is also very easily detachable here by means of a pin-shaped object to be pressed through the opening 20 onto the compression spring 24.
- the stripped wire 26 of a cable 28 provided with an insulating jacket 27 is mechanically soldered to the connection-side end part 25 of the contact part 21. The connection is made in the manner already described in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1.
- This version is characterized by the one-piece contact part 21 from an even more cost-effective production and is because the contact piece consists of spring plate, especially for applications with not suitable for high currents.
