Definitions

  • the invention relates to a swing door for a passage of people, with a door leaf arranged on a housing, which is pivotally mounted about a vertical axis and is driven by an electric motor which can be controlled with the aid of control means, a brake device which can also be controlled by control means being provided for Locking the door leaf in the starting position and in the open position is determined.
  • Swinging doors of this type are often found in the entrance areas of self-service shops. As a rule, these doors are preceded by light barriers installed at the pedestrian passage, which cause the swing doors to open and close automatically when passing through the pedestrian passage.
  • a door of the type mentioned at the outset is also known from EP 0 423 016 A1.
  • the electric motor required to drive the door leaf is arranged at a distance from the pivot axis of the door leaf, so that, for example, a belt drive is required to move the door leaf.
  • This type of construction creates a relatively large housing. Several such swing doors in the entrance areas of self-service shops require a lot of space. This is undesirable.
  • the object of the invention is to further develop a swing door of the generic type so that a reduction in relevant components and a reduction in the space requirement of the swing door is achieved.
  • the electric motor is formed by a stepper motor, the rotor of which is rotationally connected to the door leaf and the stator is arranged stationary on the swinging door.
  • the electric motor according to the invention is not laterally offset from the swing axis of the door leaf.
  • the present invention thus expediently creates a swing door which dispenses with a previously essential component and which can be set up in a confined space, preferably in a tubular housing, as a columnar structural unit. Swing doors designed in this way require an extremely small footprint.
  • the stator of the electric motor is arranged in a fixed position on a support device which is supported on the housing, while the external rotor is connected to the pivoting part of the door leaf in a rotationally locking manner.
  • This construction allows a pivoting door to be created in a manner known per se, which is followed by a pivoting part on a lower housing pillar which can be anchored to the floor, which carries the door leaf and ends at the top with an upper housing pillar, the housing pillars and the pivoting part being tubular parts with preferably the same Diameters are designed.
  • This pivoting door also allows, in a known manner, the attachment of guide rails which are intended to form fencing and can be fastened to the lower and upper rigid housing pillars.
  • the stator is The electric motor is fixed in place on the housing, while the rotor which is now arranged inside the stator is connected in a rotationally locking manner to a drive shaft leading to the door leaf.
  • This construction allows the formation of a swing door, in which the drive shaft protrudes above the upper limit of the swing door and allows a swing door to be created, as is shown, for example, in WO 86/00953 in FIG. 9.
  • the housing 1 has a housing 2 which can be fastened to the floor and which carries a door leaf 8 which can be pivoted about a vertical axis 7.
  • the housing 2 can have a wide variety of shapes in a known manner, but it is expedient to design the housing 2 in the form of a round column in a known manner such that the housing 2 consists of a lower tubular housing column 3 and an upper housing column 4, between the two housing columns 3, 4 of the door leaf 8 is arranged.
  • the lower housing column 3 can be attached to the floor.
  • a closable opening 6 is provided in the wall of the lower housing column 3. Through this Opening 6 leads to a large part of the control means, not shown, as a rule, which control the movements of the door leaf 8 in a known manner in connection with a light barrier, which is also not shown, that is to say outside the pivoting door 1.
  • a plate 16 Arranged within the lower housing column 3 and in its upper region, a plate 16 is welded in, which carries both a brake device 17 designed as a known magnetic brake and a cylindrical support device 20 designed as a hollow axle, both parts being screwed to the plate 16.
  • the braking device 17 and the support device 20 are arranged on the vertical axis 7.
  • the braking device 17 consists in a known manner of a fixed section 18 which is screwed to the plate 16 and of a rotatable section 19. A detailed description of the braking device 17 can be dispensed with, since the construction of magnetic brakes of this type is generally known.
  • the door leaf 8 consists of a swivel tube 14 and a bow-shaped frame 9 fastened to the swivel tube 14.
  • a cylindrical bearing housing 22 is fitted in a form-fitting manner, both in the swivel tube 14 and on the bearing housing 22 each having an opening 15 for receiving the free end 10 of the lower horizontal section 9 'of the bow-shaped frame 9.
  • Both the rotatable section 19 of the braking device 17 and the lower horizontal section 9 'of the bow-shaped frame 9 are screwed to the bearing housing 22, that is to say connected to it in a stationary manner.
  • the lower section 9 'of the bow-shaped frame 9 is in the inside of the bearing housing 22 as a or Multi-phase stepper motor designed, cylindrical electric motor 23 fitted.
  • the stator 25 of the electric motor 23 is penetrated by the support device 20 and is arranged thereon in a stationary manner, while the rotor 24 of the electric motor 23 is connected to the bearing housing 22 and thus also to the door leaf 8 in a rotationally locking manner.
  • the construction, as well as the functions of such stepper motors are known. A detailed description is therefore unnecessary at this point.
  • the electric motor 23 is followed at the top by a cylindrically designed cover part 27 which is fitted in the pivot tube 14 and is screwed to the bearing housing 22.
  • the cover part 27 serves to fix the position of the electric motor 23.
  • Ball bearings 26 inserted in the bearing housing 22 and in the cover part 27 are mounted on the support device 20, so that the door leaf 8 can be pivoted about the vertical axis 7.
  • a plurality of spacers 29 are provided, which, likewise penetrated by the support device 20, are intended for supporting the ball bearings 26 and thus the bearing housing 22 with the door leaf 8 and the electric motor 23.
  • a support ring 30 is provided, which is placed on the support device 20 and contributes to fixing the position of the bearing housing 22.
  • the cover part 27 has a concentric depression 28.
  • This depression 28 is expediently used to accommodate further control means (not shown in more detail), the control means provided at this point consisting of known link plates which are optoelectronically scanned and thus determine the respective position of the door leaf 8.
  • a bearing ring 31 is provided in the upper region of the swivel tube 14 and inserted into the swivel tube 14 in a form-locking and rotationally locking manner. Both the bearing ring 31 and the leg tube 14 are each equipped with an opening 15 into which the free end 11 of the upper horizontal section 9 '' of the bow-shaped frame 9 is inserted and screwed to the bearing ring 31.
  • the bearing ring 31 has a further ball bearing 26 which, like the bearing ring 31, penetrated by the support device 20, is intended for supporting the door leaf 8 on the support device 20.
  • the support device 20 ends above the bearing ring 31.
  • Its upper end face 21 is a support point for the upper housing column 4, which is screwed to the support device 20 by means of a plate 32.
  • two O-rings 33 are provided, which are expediently provided to compensate for the manufacturing and assembly tolerances between the swivel tube 14 and the bearing housing 22 and the bearing ring 31 .
  • the upper housing column 4 can, for example, end at the top with a light dome 40.
  • connection point for the attachment of horizontally arranged guide rails can be provided on the upper and lower housing columns 3, 4, which are provided together with further posts to form a fencing belonging to the passage of people.
  • the support device 20 designed as a hollow axis allows cables to be guided from bottom to top, with lateral openings (not shown in detail) in the support device 20 leading to the components to be supplied with electrical energy.
  • the electric motor 23 switched with the light barrier is set in motion. Due to the rotational connection between the rotor 24 and the bearing housing 22 and the likewise rotational connection between the bearing housing 22 and the bow-shaped frame 9 of the door leaf 8, the door leaf 8 usually rotates through 90 °.
  • the control means switch off the electric motor 23 and the braking device 17. This brakes because you are more flexible Section 19 is rotationally connected to the bow-shaped frame 9 of the door leaf 8, the door leaf 8 and brings it to a standstill.
  • the door leaf 8 now occupies an open position, ie the passage for people is open.
  • the control means switch off the braking device 17 and the electric motor 23 in such a way that it rotates in the opposite direction and thus swivels the door leaf 8 back into its starting position in which the passage of people is closed. Then the electric motor 23 is switched off again and the braking device 17 is switched on, so that the door leaf 8 is locked.
  • the pivoting process of the door leaf 8 just described begins again.
  • Fig. 2 shows a swinging door 1 for a passage of people, whose tubular housing 2 in the example also consists of only one housing column 5 and whose door leaf 8 is inserted into the tubular housing 2 from above centrally to the housing column 5, that is to say arranged on the vertical axis 7 is.
  • the housing 2 of the swing door 1 can be attached to the floor.
  • a large part of the control means are accommodated in the housing column 5 below a lower bearing plate 34 which is arranged in the interior of the housing column 5.
  • a closable opening 6 leads from the outside to the control means.
  • a further upper bearing plate 35 is connected in a stationary manner to the housing column 5, the upper bearing plate 35 being screwed to the housing column 5, while the lower bearing plate 34 can be screwed or welded to the housing column 5.

  • the housing column 5 is limited at the top by an appropriately designed end piece. In order to obtain a cable feed for the electrical components, where necessary, grooves or openings are provided in the parts arranged from bottom to top.
  • the electric motor 23 starts to rotate.
  • the rotational connection of the rotor 24 of the electric motor 23 with the drive shaft 36 and again due to the rotational connection of the drive shaft 36 to the door leaf 8 the latter usually swings out by 90 °.
  • the control means then switch off the braking device 17 and cause the electric motor 23 to make an opposite rotation until the door leaf 8 has reached its starting position in which it closes the passage of people.
  • the electric motor 23 is switched off again and the braking device 17 is switched on again, so that the door leaf 8 is locked.
  • the invention leaves it to the respective application which additional technical possibilities are provided for controlling the door leaf 8.
  • the door leaf 8 automatically swings out into an opening position that allows the passage of people, and after a predetermined period of time swings back again into the starting position in which the passage is closed.
  • the door leaf 8 is locked by means of the braking device 17. Nevertheless, this locking only goes so far that the door leaf 8 in the event of a rapid evacuation of a self-service market in the event of danger, when a certain minimum force is exerted from the starting position, can be pivoted both in one and in the other direction.
