Definitions

  • the invention relates to a recessed ceiling light according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • recessed ceiling lights are often constructed in such a way that they can be inserted from below into a given ceiling opening and can be attached to the ceiling.
  • a certain edge remains between the housing of the installed recessed ceiling light and the ceiling surface, or a fastening flange is provided on the underside of the recessed ceiling light, which then covers the ceiling opening.
  • cover rings are often provided, which can be screwed into this housing flange when the ceiling light is installed and can mainly be fixed there by means of a bayonet catch.
  • a luminaire insert is provided on the underside of the recessed ceiling light, inserted in the luminaire housing, which carries lighting elements such as cover glasses or the like, which thus also determines the lighting technology of the recessed luminaire and which covers the light source for the viewer, so that it does not directly is visible.
  • the light source is therefore not freely accessible from below.
  • a luminaire insert with the cover ring is often a constructive one Unit, which is then attached to the luminaire housing by a bayonet lock or by fastening screws accessible from below.
  • the latter possibility is structurally simpler than a relatively complex bayonet lock, which is often realized by injection molded parts, but is often not used for optical reasons.
  • a luminaire for compact fluorescent lamps is described there, in whose light outlet opening in the form of a grid of regular arrangement, a plurality of reflector elements are used, which define the emission characteristics of the luminaire.
  • the entire reflector system is formed in two parts, i.e. it has a pot-shaped main reflector, into which an inner body can be inserted as a removable unit in the light outlet opening of the lamp and is fixed via detent elements so that it can be removed again.
  • a spot lamp which, lying in front of the actual light exit opening of the lamp, has attachments, such as lenses, screen shutters and the like.
  • these attachments are attached to a pair of mounting rails, which are positioned parallel to the lamp axis when the lamp is ready for operation and are guided in sliding swivel bearings that are provided on the outside of a lamp housing.
  • the mounting rods with the attachments fixed on them are pulled out of these sliding swivel bearings parallel to the lamp axis up to predetermined stops and then laterally pivoted by a pivoting movement in the radial direction from the light exit opening of the lamp.
  • the interaction of the guide angle and the associated latching element brings about two latching positions in the inserted state or in the state of the anti-dazzle ring removed along the center axis of the lamp.
  • the locking elements also have resilient end stops, so that the cover plate can be completely removed from the lamp housing when the spring force of these stops is overcome.
  • the latching position in which the anti-dazzle ring is pulled off the lamp housing, it can be pivoted about an axis perpendicular to the lamp center axis due to the rotatable connection to the pair of latching elements, so that the interior of the lamp housing e.g. is accessible for a lamp change.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a further solution for fastening luminaire inserts to luminaire housings for a ceiling luminaire of the type mentioned at the outset, which is functionally reliable, structurally simple as possible and yet both optically satisfactory and functional with regard to unavoidable maintenance work, such as For example, a tool-free lamp change meets all requirements.
  • This solution according to the invention enables the luminaire insert, which is attached to the luminaire housing and is invisible to the viewer, from the mounted downlight to the bottom deduct and swivel the luminaire insert to the side away from the ceiling opening as it is rotatably mounted.
  • the light source and the reflector of the recessed ceiling light are easily accessible.
  • the swung out lamp insert hangs safely on the ceiling and in no way hinders a lamp change. It is particularly advantageous for the fitter that he does not have to put down the lower part of the lamp that is pulled out for changing the lamp, ie the lamp insert as a separate part.
  • a ceiling recessed luminaire shown in cross section in FIG. 1 and inserted into a ceiling 1 has a luminaire housing 2 with an outer flange 210 covering a ceiling opening 110 and an inwardly angled inner flange 220 arranged at a predetermined distance from the ceiling.
  • a U-shaped angled sheet metal angle 230 is fixed at its leg ends, which has an outwardly angled tongue 240 at its upper end near its base surface, on which connection terminals 3 for the line feed and optionally further electrical components are fixed.
  • a mounting bracket 4 which is trapezoidal in cross section, is screwed, which carries a lamp holder 5.
  • This light source 6 is surrounded by a cup-shaped lamp reflector 7.
  • the recessed ceiling luminaire with its housing 2 described is fixed in the ceiling opening 110 of the ceiling 1 by means of a double-angled mounting bracket 8 in cooperation with the outer flange 210 of the luminaire housing 2.
  • This mounting bracket 8 is longitudinally displaceably guided on a threaded rod 9, which is arranged parallel to the central axis of the recessed ceiling light and can be rotated through the ceiling opening 110, and is braced by rotating this threaded rod 9 on the top of the ceiling 1, as a result of which the outer flange 210 of the lamp housing 2 is on the underside of the ceiling 1 is used in a force-fitting manner.
  • the ceiling recessed luminaire described has a removable luminaire insert 10.
  • This has a housing cylinder 101, which is cranked several times on average, with a cover ring 102 attached to it on the outer edge and a flange 103 on the luminaire side.
  • a guide rod 11 with one end is rotatably mounted as a guide element on the edge and parallel to the axis.
  • the other end of this guide rod 11 is movably fixed in receiving bores of a double-angled bearing bracket 12, which in turn is fixed on the upper side of the inner flange 220 of the lamp housing 2.
  • a securing element 13 for example a snap ring, is fixed. This secures the guide rod against falling out of the bearing bracket 12 downwards.
  • the length of the guide rod 11 is dimensioned such that the lamp insert 10 freely in the disengaged state on the ceiling hangs and can be swiveled parallel to the ceiling, as indicated by an arrow.
  • FIG. 3 the ceiling light described is shown in a view from above.
  • This view clarifies - in addition to the housing and fastening components already described - in a comparison, in particular with the illustration in FIG. 2, how the lamp insert 10 is fixed to the lamp housing 2 in the engaged state.
  • two mandrels 14 are arranged symmetrically with respect to the guide rod 11 on the circumference of the flange 103 of the lamp insert 10. Only one of these spikes 14 is visible in the cross-sectional illustration in FIG. However, the view of FIG. 3 illustrates the position of these mandrels 14 with respect to the guide rod 11.
  • these mandrels also have a conical shape at their upper end for the purpose of simple centering, approximately at the level of the flange 103 of the lamp insert 10 each have a radially circumferential groove 114 or 114 '. These grooves 114 and 114 'of the guide rod 11 and the mandrels 14 form locking surfaces for locking the lamp insert 10 on the inner flange 220 of the lamp housing 2.
  • a wire spring 15 is provided on the upper side of the inner flange 220 of the lamp housing 2 as a latching means for the mandrels 14 and also the guide rod 11.
  • This is bent in a U-shape and has a fastening eyelet at the bent end, with which it is fixed by means of a fastening screw 16 on the upper side of the inner flange 220 of the lamp housing is.
  • the wire springs 15 cover with their parallel legs a receiving bore 17 for the mandrels 14 - the same applies to the guide rod 11 - and are clamped with their free, angled ends into a cutout 18 in the inner flange 220 of the lamp housing 2.
  • the configuration of this cutout 18 is also important for the spring force of the wire springs 15 acting on the mandrels 14. Because of the radial expansion of the cutouts 18, it is in the hand to preload the two legs of the wire springs 15 accordingly. If the luminaire insert 10 is now pivoted in under the ceiling opening - as shown in FIG. 2 - then it can simply be pushed upwards into the luminaire housing 2 of the recessed ceiling luminaire. The guide rod 11 slides upwards in the bearing bracket 12 until the mandrels 14 and also the guide rod 11 engage with their respective groove 114 or 114 'on the respective wire spring 15 and are then held there in a locking manner.
  • the light insert 10 is pulled out of the recessed ceiling light as a unit, in which the latching forces of the wire springs 15 are overcome. As shown clearly in FIG. 5, the lamp insert 10 is pivoted away from the ceiling opening 110 in its disengaged position. The light source 6 and also the lamp reflector 7 are thus freely accessible from below. A simple lamp change does not pose any difficulties. The lamp insert 10 is then swiveled in again and into the lamp housing 2 inserted, the mandrels 14 with their tapered ends insert themselves centering into their receiving bores 17 and finally snap into the wire springs 15.
  • the exemplary embodiment described above relates to a preferred embodiment. What is essential here is the possibility of pulling down a lamp insert held by latching means in the lamp housing without it falling out of the lamp and then being able to swing it out laterally for maintenance work. It is clear to the person skilled in the art on the basis of the exemplary embodiment described above that, for example, the type of fixing of this disengageable lamp insert 10 with the aid of guide pins and wire-shaped retaining springs is by no means the only embodiment within the scope of the invention. Other locking devices are also available.
