- the invention relates to a rotor nozzle for a high-pressure cleaning device with a housing, which is provided in an end wall with a pan-shaped bearing for the front spherical end of a nozzle body having a through bore, with a tangentially opening into the housing inlet for a liquid through which the liquid in Housing can be set in rotation about the longitudinal axis of the housing, so that the nozzle body rotates together with the rotating liquid and thereby lies against the inner wall of the housing with a contact surface on its periphery, the longitudinal axis of the nozzle body being inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing.

- Such a rotor nozzle has a particularly simple construction, since the nozzle body is only supported on one side, and otherwise but moved freely in the housing, on the one hand revolving on a conical jacket around the longitudinal axis of the housing, while on the other hand it rotates about its own longitudinal axis.
- This rotary movement about its own longitudinal axis can be largely reduced by providing increased friction in the area of the contact surface.

- a brake body is therefore mounted in the nozzle body, which can move in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the nozzle body. Since this longitudinal axis is inclined to the longitudinal axis of the housing and thus to the rotating axis during the orbital movement of the nozzle body in the housing, the centrifugal force also results in a component displacing the brake body in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the nozzle body, which presses the brake body out of the nozzle body against the end-face contact surface.
- This system results in an effective braking force which limits the rotational frequency of the nozzle body in the housing, this speed limitation working irrespective of which position the nozzle body occupies about its longitudinal axis.
- the nozzle body can therefore rotate freely about its longitudinal axis, and yet the rotational frequency of the nozzle body in the housing is effectively limited.
- the braking forces increase with increasing circulation frequency.
- the contact surface for the brake body can be designed as an annular surface which is arranged in the contact region of the brake body perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle body. Overall, the contact surface thus has a slight taper due to the inclination of the longitudinal axis of the nozzle body relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing.
- the contact surface can carry a central projection which projects into the interior of the housing via the rear end of the nozzle body supported in the pan-shaped bearing. This ensures that even before the nozzle body is started up, it does not align itself centrally in the housing, but maintains an inclination with respect to the longitudinal axis of the housing. At the start of operation, the nozzle body is therefore immediately effectively pressed against the inner surface of the housing.
- the inner wall of the housing runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle body abutting the inner wall and carries the nozzle length bearing surface with the same outer diameters.
- the rotor nozzle shown in the drawing comprises a housing 1 with a rear half 2, which is cup-shaped and has a central opening 4 in its bottom 3. This effect is increased by the increase in the contact forces with which the O-rings 19 and 20 are pressed against the inner wall as the speed increases under the influence of the brake body 18.
