Definitions

  • the invention relates to a key and / or a lock of a key and lock combination on the basis of lock cylinders with a cylinder core with a key channel in which a plurality of core pins radially in bores against spring-loaded housing pins from a locked position into a release position by means of the displacement position of the pins by notches determining flat key are displaceable.
  • Replacement keys are produced by the key services using copy milling. An original key is clamped, the key notches (teeth) are scanned in the longitudinal direction of the key using a sensor and transferred to a key blank of the same cross-sectional shape according to the measured values recorded.
  • the invention aims to complicate the production of replacement or duplicate keys by the usual copying process and thus to limit the copying to the group that is authorized to do so.
  • These key services check the identity of the customer and his authorization to order and take over a replacement or additional key.
  • the object is achieved in that the key is designed in such a way that in at least one notch in the longitudinal direction of the key and preferably approximately in the extension of a key side surface, a web bridging the notch is provided with a contact surface or edge for the core pin such that the contact surface or - edge of the web bridges the notch at a depth that is less than the notch depth, that the width of the support surface is less than the key width and is, for example, about a quarter of the key width and that the lock is designed so that the core pin is offset on the head side in cross section and preferably formed as a circular annular surface surrounds a protruding extension.
  • the surface lying on the notch base is not used as a control surface for the core pin as usual.
  • an eccentrically arranged, narrow support surface is provided on a web, which delimits the notch on one long side and is higher than the notch base.
  • the core pin is formed in a stepped manner and has an annular heel surface, over which a cylindrical or conical extension protrudes in the axis. The division is thus achieved by the core pin heel surface resting on the contact surface of the web in the notch in the key.
  • the scanning sensor follows a copy milling cutter the contour of the key bit, so that a key is reproduced, the notch depth of which corresponds to the position of the contact surface of the original.
  • the core pin rests on the notch base with its extension projecting beyond the heel surface and is thus shifted into a position which projects beyond the division surface. The core pin thus blocks the locking process.
  • the key copy does not lock, even though the key original of the beard contour has been copied correctly.
  • a support surface can be achieved in that a notch is provided, in particular a V-shaped recess which penetrates the key cross section obliquely, the end of which, as seen in the key cross section, is preferably flattened to the support surface.
  • a ridge (line contact) between the oblique recess and a particularly oblique milling, in particular edge ribs may be provided as a support for the heel surface of the core pin.
  • the V-shaped design of the notch in the longitudinal section and at the same time an oblique course in the cross section leads to inclined surfaces on which the core pin slides when the key is inserted. These inclined surfaces set the core pin in rotation so that it wears evenly all around.
  • the keys in the key bit are consecutive provided notches have the contact surfaces or edges alternately or in different sequences on the left or right cross-sectional edge. This further complicates reworking.
  • the end face has an annular surface as a sales surface, which surrounds a conical central extension.
  • FIG. 1 shows a plan view of the narrow side formed with notches of a part of a flat key
  • Fig. 2 shows a side view
  • Fig. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in Fig. 2, wherein additionally a core pin, a housing pin and the division surface indicated 4 is a section according to FIG. 3, but through a copied key
  • FIG. 5 is a plan view of the narrow side of a flat key formed with another embodiment of a notch
  • FIG. 6 is a side view of FIG. 5
  • FIG. 7 is a Section along the line VII-VII in Fig. 6 with an indicated core pin.
  • a flat key 1 for a cylinder lock or a locking system has notches 2, 3 on its beard with V-shaped running-in surfaces, on which core pins of a locking cylinder slide along when the key 1 is inserted into a key channel until they reach the end position.
  • a surface lying on the notch base positions the core pins, the contact surfaces of which with spring-loaded housing pins have to be moved into the dividing surface between the cylinder core and the cylinder housing in order to be able to carry out a locking operation.
  • a support surface 4 is provided on a web 4 'bridging the notch 2 at the edge, the width of which is smaller than the key width.
  • a support surface 5 or a web 5 ' is arranged on the opposite edge.
  • the bearing surfaces (4, 5) being able to be provided on one side or in part in any sequence to the left or right of the key (1).
  • the corresponding core pin 6 is of stepped design, that is to say that it has an annular heel surface 7 with which it rests on the contact surface 4.
  • the core pin 6 is positioned in such a way that its contact surface with the associated spring-loaded housing pin 8 lies precisely in the dividing surface 9, that is to say the outer surface of the cylinder core which is rotatably loaded in the cylinder housing. This can lock the cylinder.
  • the core pin 6 also carries an extension 10 projecting beyond the shoulder surface 7, which protrudes into the notch 2.
  • the sensor moves in the notches 2, 3 along the contact surfaces 4, 5. It results a copied copy key 11, as shown in the section according to III-III (Fig. 2) in Fig. 4.
  • the controlling notch base surface 12 lies in the position of the support surface 4 of the key 1.
  • the extension 10 of the core pin 6 rests on this when the secondary key 11 is inserted into the key channel of the locking cylinder. As a result, the core pin 6 is displaced beyond the dividing surface 9 and blocks the saving process.
  • FIGS. 5 to 7 An alternative embodiment is shown in FIGS. 5 to 7.
  • a notch 14 is provided in a key 13, which was cut obliquely to the cross-sectional area of the key 13 using a disc milling cutter with a trapezoidal contour (FIG. 7). This results in V-shaped inlet surfaces 15, 16 of the notch 14, which are additionally inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction.
  • the notch base surface 17 also runs obliquely. 7 is milled horizontally at its upper end in a second operation, so that there is a narrow bearing surface 18 or a web (FIGS. 5, 7).
  • the core pins 19 sliding along the inlet surfaces are set in rotation, so that the core pin is worn evenly.
  • the core pin 19 is again set off and carries an annular heel surface 20 with which he rests on the bearing surface 18.
  • An extension 21 protrudes over the shoulder surface 20, which is designed as a cone according to FIG. 7.
  • the feeler of a copy milling machine slides along the contour of the key bit (FIG. 6), so that a duplicate key fails again as shown in FIG. 4.
  • the conical extension 21 of the core pin 19 lies against the base of the notch (12) when attempting to lock with the duplicate key and causes the core pin 19 to be positioned incorrectly, so that division is not achieved. The locking process cannot be carried out with the duplicate key.
  • the key 1 or 13 can be formed in the longitudinal direction on the flanks with a profile by grooves or ribs, as is usual with flat keys. Instead of the narrow contact surface 18 shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, a contact edge can be provided which results as a cutting edge between the notch cut 14 and the key flank.
  • the support edge can also be designed as a cut edge with an opposite oblique cut.
