Es ergibt sich somit insgesamt eine sehr komplizierte Ausgestaltung des Einsteck-Kantengetriebes. Eine weitere Komplizierung resultiert daraus, daß die Verbindung der beiden Hälften des Getriebegehäuses mit der Stulpschiene über eine zusätzliche Riegelplatte vorgenommen werden muß, die bajonettverschlußartige Vorsprünge aufweist, welche mit komplementären Vorsprüngen an den Gehäusehälften in Wirkverbindung tritt, um eine Verriegelung des Getriebegehäuses an der Stulpschiene herbeizuführen. Beim Aufdrücken des Getriebegehäuses 2 auf die Stulpschiene 4 zum Zwecke der Montage werden die Rasthaken 10 zunächst durch einen ihren Rastkanten 23 voreilende Schrägfläche 24 elastisch nach einwärts in eine Ausnehmung 25 verlagert, die sich in der Seitenflächen eines Stützsteges 29 für die Treibstange 5 befindet. Beim weiteren Eindringen der Rasthaken 10 in die Rastausnehmungen 11 treffen dann die Rasthaken 10 mit den ihrem freien Ende zugeordneten Innenkanten auf Schrägflächen 30, welche sich zur Außenseite der Stulpschiene 4 hin an die Ausnehmung 25 im Stützsteg 29 anschließen. Hierdurch wird dann jedem Rasthaken 10 eine auswärts gerichtete Spreizbewegung aufgezwungen, so daß seine auswärts gerichtete Rastkante 23 den Rasteingriff 28 der Rastausnehmung 11 in der Stulpschiene 4 formschlüssig hinterfaßt. Die Kontur der Ausnehmung 25 mit der Schrägfläche 30 ist dabei so gewählt, daß nur elastische Verformungen der Rasthaken 10 und der Stulpschiene 4 zur Herstellung der Rastverbindung möglich sind, daß aber ein Lösen dieser Rastverbindung ohne Beschädigung der Stulpschiene 4 oder des Getriebegehäuses 2 verhindert ist.4, the connection of the gear housing 2 with the faceplate 4 is shown. The contour of the recess 25 with the inclined surface 30 is selected so that only elastic deformations of the latching hook 10 and the faceplate 4 are possible for producing the latching connection, but that a loosening of this latching connection is prevented without damaging the faceplate 4 or the gear housing 2.

Claims (11)

  1. A positioning bar fitting for a window or a door or the like, more particularly insert edge drives, comprising a face plate, a positioning bar mounted for displacement therebehind and a casing which is fixedly secured to the positioning bar and in which a pinion is mounted as rotating drive member, the pinion teeth cooperating with apertures in the positioning bar,
    characterised in that
    the transmission casing (2) is a unitary plastics structure, more particularly a plastics injection moulding,
    in that the face plate (4) is also made as a unitary plastic product, more particualrly by injection moulding, with rearwardly projecting spacers (12, 16) and at least one locking tab (14) associated with one end of the face plate (4), said tab being for an adjacent face plate end,
    and in that the locking tab (14) is hingedly connected by a film hinge portion of material (15) to the face plate (4).
  2. A fitting according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the face plate (4) can be connected to the casing (2) by catch hooks (10) which are disposed, for example, on the casing (2) and which are engageable in companion catch recesses (11), for example, on the face plate (4),
    and in that the catch hooks (10) and catch recesses (11) have a shape (23, 24 and 25, 28, 30 respectively) which prevents unlatching of the connection without damage.
  3. A fitting according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that
    the casing (2) has passages (18) which extend parallel to the bearing spindle of the pinion (3) and which are adapted to receive fixing screws for the bearing rose of a pinion-operating lever, the screws having a polygonal, more particularly hexagonal, cross-section.
  4. A fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 3,
    characterised in that
    when rotation of the pinion (3) is limited to 90°, the casing (2) has a back curved closure wall (19) in a semi-circular bearing segment for the pinion (3).
  5. A fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 4 having means for reversing the thrust direction wherein two thrust members each having toothing for engagement are guided in the casing and are maintained in engagement with at least one pinion from opposite sides,
    characterised in that
    the face plate (4) has rearward projections (19) which serve as bearing shells for the bearing pins of the pinions (7) and in that the casing side walls (2) are formed with recesses (22) which extend fixedly, also as bearing shells, around the bearing journals of the pinions (7) from the opposite side.
  6. A fitting according to claim 5,
    characterised in that
    one positioning bar (5) of the means for reversing thrust direction is cranked in a plane which extends parallel to the axis of the plane of rotation of the reversing pinions (7).
  7. A fitting according to claim 2,
    characterised in that
    the catch hooks (10) are disposed in pairs one beside another on parallel side walls of the casing (2).
  8. A fitting according to claim 2 or 7,
    characterised in that
    at least one pair of the catch hooks (10) are disposed near, more particularly between, the reversing pinions (7).
  9. A fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 8,
    characterised in that
    the material of the casing (2) is made of a plastic containing a lubricant.
  10. A fitting according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that
    the spacers (12) of the space bar (4) have laterally projecting catch noses (31) for retaining the positioning bar (5 and 9 respectively) below the face plate (4).
  11. A fitting according to claim 10,
    characterised in that
    the catch edges of the catch projections (31) extend outwards.
