Description

The invention relates to an espagnolette of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1. Such an espagnolette is known from DE-OS 37 10 056.

In drive rod gearboxes of this type, the drive rod must be moved by a sufficient stroke with a 90 ° rotation or 180 ° rotation of the pinion in order to perform the necessary unlocking and locking operations for the desired opening types, e.g. a tilt and turn window. To achieve a sufficient drive rod stroke of e.g. 17 or 34 mm, a certain minimum radius of the pinion is required, which in turn determines the minimum dimension of the gear housing in the frame plane transverse to the longitudinal direction of the drive rod. On the other hand, the position of the drive rod in relation to the bearing rosette with actuating handle for the pinion, which can be attached to the frame on the room side, is predetermined by the design of the frame profile. The distance between the axis of rotation of the operating handle and the connecting rod or faceplate level on the folded side of the wing profile is called the backset. With a fitting of the specified type, the advantage achieved by the use of a coupling slide which is offset from the drive rod towards the rebate space and which is actuated by the drive pinion is that the radius and thus the lever arm of the pinion can be larger than the backset, so that despite A sufficiently large drive rod stroke is achieved close to the axis of rotation of the drive rod.

A similar drive rod gear is known from DE-GM 85 15 071, but the pinion itself is not in engagement with a coupling slide, but with a section of the drive rod that is cranked towards the rebate space.

In the known drive rod gears, the transmission housing is fastened to the frame profile exclusively by means of the usual fastening screws of the bearing rosette for the actuating handle, which are screwed into threaded engagements of the transmission housing on both sides of the actuating mandrel and parallel to this through corresponding holes in the frame profile. With such fastening screws arranged perpendicular to the sash frame plane, there is a certain play transverse to the screw axis, i.e. in the frame plane, unavoidable, so that a particularly secure attachment, which can also absorb larger forces in the longitudinal direction of the connecting rod or perpendicular to the fold surface, is not provided. The bearing rosette cannot be removed without the gear housing losing its hold on the casement profile at the same time.

The invention has for its object to design a generic drive rod gear such that it can be attached to the casement profile more securely and more resiliently. The drive rod transmission should also require the smallest possible extent to break through the bottom of the guide groove in order to accommodate projecting parts of the transmission housing.

The solution to this problem according to the invention is specified in claim 1. The subclaims relate to advantageous further refinements.

The invention ensures that the bearing surface seated on the bottom of the guide groove results in a clear positioning of the gear housing transversely to the plane of the drive rod and that the fixing screws which can be screwed into threaded holes in the groove base ensure that the gear housing is securely fixed in the groove, independently of one additional fixing by means of fastening screws of a rosette arranged perpendicular to the sash frame level. Depending on the design of the transmission, the drive pinion for the drive rod, which can be rotated by means of the actuating handle, jumps either not at all or only slightly over the contact surface, so that no or only a relatively small recess has to be provided in the bottom of the guide groove for receiving such a protruding part .

An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. It shows:
  • Figure 1 is a side view of the gear used in the profile groove with connected connecting rods.
  • 2 shows a side view of the transmission with the transmission housing open without drive rods;
  • Fig. 3 is a section along the line 111-111 of Figure 1 by the empty gear housing without pinion and clutch slide.
  • 4 shows a section through the casement profile with the gear housing fastened thereon;
  • Fig. 5 is a side view of the room side of the casement profile;
  • Fig. 6 is an exploded view of the espagnolette.

Ein Getriebegehäuse 7, das in Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht und in Fig. 3 im Schnitt dargestellt ist, kann teilweise in die Nut 3 eingeführt werden, und zwar soweit, bis seitliche Schultern 7a des Getriebegehäuses auf den Führungsstegen 5 aufsitzen.4, the sash frame profile 1 made of metal or plastic has a groove 3 which is open towards the rebate side and which has two inwardly projecting guide webs 5 near the groove opening. A gear housing 7, which is shown in side view in FIG. 1 and in section in FIG. 3, can be partially inserted into the groove 3 until the shoulders 7 a of the gear housing sit on the guide webs 5.

As can be seen in FIG. 1, the gear housing 7 has a housing part 7b which can be inserted into the groove 3 and a guide channel section 7c which remains outside the groove and projects into the rebate space of the wing profile. The housing part 7b has one the groove bottom of the groove 5 facing bearing surface 9 on both sides of a segment-like bulge 11. The latter is adapted to the circumference of a pinion 13 (FIG. 2) mounted in the housing 7, which has a square opening 15 for receiving the mandrel of an actuating handle (not shown).

The teeth of the pinion 13 engage in a perforated toothing 17 of a clutch slide 19, which is mounted in a longitudinally displaceable manner in the guide channel section 7c of the transmission housing 7. The coupling slide 19 is formed substantially longer than the housing part 7b supporting the pinion 13 and carries at its ends coupling pins 21 for engagement in corresponding coupling openings of drive rods 23 which are guided in a manner known per se on the guide webs 5 of the groove 3 of the profile 1 .

Each drive rod 23 preferably has the U-shaped profile shown at the top in FIG. 1 with two grooves 23a provided in the outer surfaces of the U-legs, into which the guide webs 5 of the guide groove 3 of the profile 1 can engage. In this way, the drive rod 23 is guided at a distance from the bottom of the groove 3 and can not fall off the coupling pin 21.

The clutch slider is dimensioned sufficiently long so that the drive rods 23 can be displaced by the required stroke distance mediated by a 90 ° or 180 ° rotation of the pinion 13 without bumping against the end faces of the housing part 7b. The guide channel section 7c of the housing 7 is designed to be longer than this coupling slide 17 by the amount of the stroke distance of the clutch slide 19 and thus protrudes considerably on both sides beyond the housing part 7b.

Continuing with the support surface 9, two support claws 25 are formed on the two end faces of the housing part 7b, each of which has a receiving opening 27 for a fastening element, in particular a countersunk screw. The support claws 25 are so flat that they do not hinder the movement of the end of the corresponding drive rod 23 up to the end wall of the housing section 7b.

In order to be able to insert the gear housing 7 into the groove 3 to such an extent that the bearing surface 9 rests on the groove bottom, a recess must be created in the groove bottom for the segment-like projection 9 and the corresponding peripheral area of the pinion. This is done in a known manner in that a bore 29 is drilled from the space side of the casement profile, the diameter of which is at least as large as the diameter of the pinion 13, this bore being made so that it secant to the bottom of the groove 3 forming profile web 31 of the wing profile 1, whereby the recess adapted to the segment projections 9 is created therein. At the same time, two smaller holes 33 are drilled from the room side for receiving fastening screws of the rosette of the actuating handle (not shown). The associated fastening screws engage in corresponding threaded bores 35 of the gear housing 7 inserted into the groove 3, so that the rosette and the gear housing are fixed to the profile 1 at the same time. In the previously known transmissions of this type, this was the only attachment of the transmission to the wing profile.

In the case of the transmission housing 7 according to the invention, however, an additional attachment to the bottom 31 of the groove 3 takes place by means of two countersunk screws 37 which are screwed through the corresponding bores 27 of the claws 25 into previously made threaded bores 39 of the groove bottom 31. In order to be able to screw in these screws 37, corresponding openings 41, 43 (see FIG. 6) are provided in alignment with the bores 27 in the guide channel section 7c and in the coupling slide 19, through which the screws 37 and the corresponding screwing tool can be passed if the clutch slide in a predetermined position, e.g. the middle position. The screw connection to the bottom of the groove ensures that the gearbox housing is secured to the frame profile 1 in a very positive manner, regardless of the fastening of the rosette.

In a particularly preferred embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the gear housing 7 is composed of two housing halves 7A, 7B. The two housing halves 7A, 7B are identical and mutually identical. A rivet 45 is formed on one end of each housing half 7A, 7B and engages in a corresponding rivet opening 47 of the other housing half in order to connect the two housing halves to one another. A longitudinal guide groove 49 is formed in each housing half, which together form the guide channel (see FIG. 6) for the clutch slide. Each housing half 7A, 7B also has one of the support claws 25, which extends over the entire width of both housing halves. Each housing half also forms a bearing trough 53, delimited by arcuate cheeks 51, in which the pinion 13 is mounted. Each housing half also has a projecting hollow pin 55 which is received by a corresponding circular opening 57 in the other housing half. The continuous threaded bore 35 for the fastening screws of the rosette is formed in the interior of each hollow pin 55.

As shown in Fig. 6, the clutch slide 19 has an approximately hat-shaped cross-section, so that its central region, in which the toothing is located, is offset a little further away from the axis of the pinion compared to the edge regions. This too helps to accommodate a pinion with the largest possible effective radius for a given height dimension of the transmission housing.

The bulge 11 of the gear housing 7 adapted to the pinion 13 preferably jumps only by a few mm, e.g. 5 mm, over the contact surface 9 in front. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the bulge 11 projects only a little inwards over the groove bottom web 31 into the hollow chamber 59 of the profile 1. It is therefore possible to use e.g. insert a reinforcing rod 61 made of metal without this being hindered by the gear housing 7. As a result, the espagnolette gearbox according to the invention is particularly advantageous for mounting on PVC window profiles.

The invention is not restricted to the details of the illustrated embodiment. In particular, the invention can also be used with particular advantage if the gear housing has a continuously continuous contact surface 9 without bulge 11 for the pinion. In this case, there is no need to make a recess in the groove bottom 31, and the fastening of the gear housing 7 to the groove bottom 31 by means of the screws 37 is particularly advantageous for precise positioning of the gear housing 7.
