Entsprechend der DE 29 32 757 C2 ist eine Heftvorrichtung für Druckmaschinen bekannt, welche mit einem Schneidzylinder kombiniert ist; nachfolgend insgesamt als Heftzylinder bezeichnet.
Innerhalb des Heftzylinders sind Gelenkvierecke mit Greifeinrichtungen angeordnet, die aus der Peripherie des Heftzylinders heraustreten, um die von einer Schneidvorrichtung zuvor mit einer gewünschten Länge abgeschnittenen Drahtstücke zu übernehmen. Im Verlaufe der weiteren Drehbewegung des Heftzylinders führt eine als Patrize wirkende Zunge eine schnelle Abwärtsbewegung in Richtung Zylinderinneres aus, wobei als Matrize eine Platte dient. Die so gebildeten Heftklammern werden nach erfolgter Weiterbewegung zur Peripherie des Heftzylinders gebracht, durch das Produkt gedrückt und gegen den Sammelzylinder als Widerlager geschlossen.

In achsparalleler Richtung sind an den Außenflächen des Grundkörpers 7 Messerbalken 8; 9 aufgenommen, welche Messer 11; 12 tragen, deren Schneidkanten 13; 14 einen Hüllkreis 16 beschreiben mit einem Durchmesser a, welcher durch eine Roationsachse 17 der Welle 6 verläuft. Der Antrieb des Grundkörpers 7 mit dem Messerbalken 8; 9 erfolgt außerhalb des Maschinengestells und jenseits des Seitengestells 1 über ein Zahnrad 18, welches mit dem Antrieb eines Punktur- und Falzmesserzylinders 19 in Verbindung steht. An Stelle von Punkturen können auch Greifer eingesetzt werden. An den inneren Seitengestellen 1; 2 des Maschinengestells sind mittels angedeuteter Schrauben 21 rohrförmige Lagerhalter 22; 23 befestigt, in welchen über Lager 24; 26, vorzugsweise als Dünnringlager ausgeführte Schrägnadellager, hohlzylinderförmige Tragkörper 27; 28 aufgenommen werden. Die Tragkörper 27; 28 sind über zwei sich in achsparalleler Richtung erstreckende und rotationssymetrisch angeordnete, sich gegenüberliegende Tragprofile 29; 30 miteinander verbunden. An dem Tragprofil 29 sind bekannte Heftköpfe 32; 33 und an dem Tragprofil 30 sind ebenfalls bekannte Heftköpfe 34; 35 zum Bilden von Drahtklammern 36; 37 angebracht. Die Einrichtung zum Heften ist in den Seitengestellen 1; 2 gelagert. Die Heftköpfe 32 und 33 arbeiten jeweils mit gestellfesten und jeweils separat angeordneten Drahtzuführungseinrichtungen für Heftdraht zusammen, von denen jedoch nur eine Drahtzuführeinrichtung 38 in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist. Der Antrieb der durch die Tragprofile 29; 30 verbundenen Tragkörper 27; 28 erfolgt über ein Zahnrad 39, welches mittels Schrauben 21 an einer freien Stirnseite des Tragköpers 27 und außerhalb des Lagerhalters 22 angebracht ist. In Fig. 2 ist die Schneidestellung eines in Pfeilrichtung E einlaufenden, jedoch nichtdargestellten Produktes zwischen der Schneidkante 13 des Messers 11 und einer am Umfang des Punktur- und Schneidmesserzylinders 19 angeordneten Schneidleiste 43 gezeigt.
Die Funktionsweise der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung ist wie nachfolgend beschrieben.

Nachdem der Draht 44; 46 mittels der Transportrollenpaare 47; 48 über die Führungen 54 bis 57 gefördert worden ist (Drahteinlauf- und Drahtschneidedüsen in einem Steckbolzen angeordnet, sind nicht dargestellt) kommen Biegerollen zum Einsatz, in Fig. 2 einmal dargestellt und mit 68 bezeichnet, die den zugeführten Draht 44; 46 zu Heftklammern 36; 37 formen. Beim Weiterdrehen der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung in Pfeilrichtung F kommen die Klammern 36; 37 mit ihren nach oben weisenden offenen Schenkeln in Eingriff mit in Drehrichtung F verlaufenden gestellfesten Führungszungen; in Fig. 2 einmal dargestellt und mit 69 bezeichnet, welche zwischen den Schenkeln der Klammern 36; 37 verlaufen und die Klammern 36; 37 vor der Wirkung der Zentrifugalkräfte bewahren. Nach Berührung der Schenkelenden der Klammern 36; 37 mit dem zu heftenden Produkt und geringfügigem Einstechen in dasselbe, besitzen die Klammern 36; 37 bereits einen Halt in dem Produkt. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt werden die auf den Heftkolben 63; 64 angeordneten Führungen 54 bis 57 durch eine Bewegung einer Steuerspindel 70; 77 in radialer Richtung D zurückgezogen, damit keine Berührung dieser klammerbildenden Organe mit dem Produkt erfolgt.
Diese radiale Bewegung wird über Führungsrollen 72; 73 bewirkt, die in einer gestellfesten Steuerkurve 75 laufen. Die Hebelarme 76; 77 der Führungsrollen 72; 73 werden durch nichtdargestellte Rückstellfedern an die Steuerkurve 75 angedrückt. Nach erfolgtem Weiterdrehen der Vorrichtung in Drehrichtung F und Durchstechen der Klammern 36; 37 durch das Produkt wird durch ein entsprechendes Widerlager 78 auf dem Punktur- und Falzmesserzylinder 19 die Klammerschließung vollzogen infolge Umwalzens der Schenkel der Klammern 36; 37 zueinander. Die sich weiter in Drehrichtung F auf die Drahtzuführungseinrichtungen 38 zu bewegende Schneidkante 14 des Messers 12 taucht infolge des Abstandes b beider Rotationsachsen 17; 41 zueinander unter den Drahtzuführungseinrichtungen 38 ab, so daß keine Berührung der Messerschneide 14 sowie der in Drehrichtung F nachfolgenden Messerschneide 13 mit den Drahtzuführungseinrichtungen 38 erfolgt. Die zwei anderen am Umfang der Vorrichtung angebrachten Heftköpfe 34; 35 können wahlweise bei Sammelbetrieb abgestellt werden. Es ist auch möglich, bei einer Verdrehung der Heftvorrichtung zur Schneidvorrichtung je nach Drehrichtung einen Überfalz oder Unterfalz herzustellen. Voraussetzung dafür ist auch eine entsprechende Nachjustierung der Falzmesserabstände auf dem Punktur- und Falzmesserzylinder 19. Weiterhin ist es möglich, abweichend vom gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel, jeweils drei Einrichtungen zum Schneiden und Heften in der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung anzuordnen.

Claims (6)

  1. Rotating device for cutting and stapling multi-layered printed products in folding machines using cutting knives and wire-stapling devices, characterised in that the device for cutting (8; 9; 11 to 14) and that for stapling (29 to 35) are fastened separately from each other [lacuna] carriers (6; 7; 17 and 22; 23; 24; 27; 28) mounted in side frames (1; 2), and are arranged in a separately and synchronously drivably mounted manner, in that the axis of rotation (17) of the device for cutting (8; 9; 11 to 14) and the axis of rotation (41) of the device for stapling (29 to 35) are arranged at a distance (b) from each other and axially parallel to each other, in that the axis of rotation (17) of the device for cutting (8; 9; 11 to 14), based on a rectangular coordinate system with the origin on the axis of rotation (41) of the device for stapling (29 to 35), lies in the IIIrd quadrant of the coordinate system, when the direction of rotation of the device for cutting and stapling (8, 9, 11 to 14 and 29 to 35) is anti-clockwise, or in that the axis of rotation (17) of the device for cutting (8, 9, 11 to 14), based on the rectangular coordinate system with the origin on the axis of rotation (41) of the device for stapling (29 to 35), lies in the IVth quadrant, when the direction of rotation of the device for cutting and stapling (8, 9, 11 to 14 and 29 to 35) is clockwise.

Device according to Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the cutting device (8; 9; 11 to 14) comprises cuboid-shaped base body (7) which is arranged rotationally symmetrically on a shaft (6) and on its outer faces receives knife bars (8; 9) which each run in the coaxial direction and carry knives (11; 12).

Device according to Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the stapling device (29 to 35) comprises tubular bearing holders (22; 23) which are fixed to the frame and in each of which hollow-cylindrical carrying bodies (27; 28) are mounted, in that the carrying bodies (27; 28) are connected by carrying profiles (29; 30) which receive known stapling heads (32 to 35) which, in turn, cooperate at their periphery with wire-supplying devices (32; 33) fixed to the frame.
  5. Device according to Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the distance (b) is between 10 and 50 mm.
  6. Rotating device for cutting and stapling multi-layered printed products in folding machines using cutting knives and wire-stapling devices, characterised in that a point of intersection (S) of an enveloping circle (42) of the highest elevation of the stapling head (32 to 35) and an enveloping circle (16) of a cutting edge (13; 14) of a knife (11; 12) lies outside the periphery of the point and folding-blade cylinder (19) and, seen in the paper web-running direction (E), before the point of intersection of the stapling or cutting line, in that the enveloping circle (42) of the stapling head (32 to 35) lies, in places, inside the enveloping circle (16) of the cutting edge (13; 14) of the knife (11; 12).
