Definitions

  • the invention relates to a switch lock for a circuit breaker according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a switch lock as the mechanical link provided with an energy store between manual actuation or power drive and contact apparatus is used to switch on and off and to release when overcurrents occur.
  • a known according to DE-OS 38 12 950, stored in a molded housing of the circuit breaker contains a switchable by a handle switch, which is pivotally mounted in a U-shaped support frame, a support lever articulated via a mounting block in the support frame and articulated on both sides with this connected toggle lever, at the end of which a roller is attached.
  • the roller is used to swivel a crossbar carrying contact arms over crossbar cam slots and at the same time to grip two toggle lever springs that are under tension, which are attached to the shift gate and act as an energy accumulator.
  • On the open side of the support frame a side frame is held, in which both a ratchet lever and a pawl and a leaf-shaped pawl spring are pivotally mounted.
  • the support lever In the switched on and in the switched off state, the support lever is locked by means of a hook by the pawl lever, which in turn is latched by the pawl by means of correspondingly designed latching surfaces. If a pivoting of the pawl is caused by a thermal or a magnetic overcurrent release, the latching surfaces are released. Under the action of the toggle springs, the ratchet lever, the support lever thus unlocked, the toggle levers and the shifting gate are tilted in the released state, ie in the contact-opening state. After eliminating the triggering cause, the key switch can be latched or locked and switched on again via the switched-off position.
  • the proposed switch lock consists of fewer elements compared to the prior art, which, however, largely fulfill several functions. These can be assembled in a technologically advantageous manner with simple joining movements into one another and between the lock plates, wherein they are held essentially non-positively in the lateral direction by the lock plates and under the action of the toggle spring and the pawl spring. The assembly of the key switch does not require the use of complex connection methods such as welding or riveting.
  • the pins on the lock plates and the wraps on the support lever like the first and second end faces and stop surfaces of the toggle lever or the support lever, as well as the knee and the support lever abutment, are particularly advantageous means for the concerned To join elements of the key switch into one another and to hold them against each other in pivotable positions under the action of the toggle spring.
  • the shifting gate, the support lever, the toggle lever and the toggle lever spring form a simple, but advantageously very quickly toggle spring mechanism.
  • the movement into the triggered state can be limited in a simple and effective manner by means of the stop angles on the lock plates and the lugs on the support lever.
  • the respective third end faces and stop faces on the toggle levers or on the switching link produce a lever effect in the case of welded contact pieces, which breaks these contacts open. The same effect is achieved during the transition to the triggered state by the interaction of the fourth end face with the third stop face.
  • the guide lugs on the support lever allow simple and effective lateral guidance of the toggle levers in the support lever, the limitation shape providing additional securing of the position of the toggle levers against the high forces which occur when the switching mechanism moves with initially welded contact pieces.
  • a helical pawl spring is a particularly inexpensive standard part.
  • the pawl and the pawl lever can thus be held against one another in a non-positive manner by means of the pawl and pawl lever support formations in the associated pawl or pawl lever support recesses, in which they were previously used in a simple manner.
  • An essentially triangular design of these recesses and the pawl support shape are particularly simple means of achieving this advantage.
  • the pawl bore and the pawl lever bore or, in a particularly advantageous manner, the hook-shaped designs on the pawl and pawl lever serve to facilitate assembly.
  • the pawl lever nose on the pawl lever and the associated sliding surface on the pawl cause the pawl lever to latch faster and thus considerably facilitate the possible power drive of the switch lock via a motor.
  • a switch lock 10 according to the invention and a contact apparatus actuated by it with three contact systems 8 are shown as part of a circuit breaker.
  • Each contact system 8 contains an immovable contact carrier 1 with a welded-on stationary contact piece 2 and a movable contact arm 3 with a welded-on movable contact piece 4.
  • the contact arms 3 are resiliently mounted in a transverse rail 5, on which two cams 6 are formed radially.
  • Cam slots 7 serve to receive a connecting axis 12 of the switch lock 10 and thus the transmission of motion from the switch lock 10 to the contact apparatus.
  • the contact carrier 1 and the cross rail 5 are embedded or stored in a conventional manner in a mold housing, not shown.
  • the switching lock 10 has two lateral, mirror-symmetrical lock plates 14. Their position is determined by inner Side surfaces of the mold housing and fixed by end-side, L-shaped fastening lugs 16, which are screwed to the mold housing base by means of two fastening screws 17 guided into the mold housing from below.
  • the switching lock consists of the two lock plates 14, a switching link 18, a support lever 20, two toggle levers 22, the connecting axis 12, a helical toggle spring 24, a pawl 26, a pawl lever 28 and a pawl spring 30.
  • the switching link 18 is essentially U-shaped and has a connecting web 38 with an angle 40 for fastening a handle, not shown, and two lateral legs 39. With leg ends 32, the switching link 18 is pivotally supported from above in bearing cutouts 34 of the lock plates 14, the pivoting movement being limited by a front and a rear end boundary surface 36 and 37 of the bearing cutouts 34, respectively.
  • the U-shaped support lever 20 is pivotally supported against the force of the toggle spring 24 by means of two grips 42 formed on its side walls 41 on two pins 44, which are each located on the inside of each lock plate 14.
  • the side walls 41 of the support lever 20 are formed on the end face in such a way that, in the triggered position, its lugs 45 limit its pivoting movement by means of its lugs 45 by inwardly bent stop angles 46 of the lock plates 14 and also by inwardly curved driving angles 48 on the legs 39 of the switching link 18 can be moved from the triggered to the off position.
  • the two-leg toggle levers 22 are of identical design and are connected at one end via the connecting axis 12 and kept at a distance.
  • the toggle lever spring 24 engages by means of an eyelet 50 in the middle of the connecting axis 12 and on a transverse web 52 within a fastening slot 53 in the connecting web 38 Gear shift 18.
  • the toggle levers 22 are supported in the support lever 20 against the force of the toggle spring 24.
  • the toggle levers 22 each have a first end surface 54 for the switched-off state and a second end surface 56 for the switched-on state.
  • An arcuate toggle abutment 58 is located at a distance between the two end faces 54 and 56.
  • the toggle lever abutments 58 are supported in more open arcuate support lever abutments 60 which are formed in open recesses in the side walls 41 of the support lever 20 and to which one of the first is spaced apart Connect first stop surface 62 corresponding to end face 54 and a second stop surface 64 corresponding to second end face 56.
  • the shifting gate 18, the support lever 20, the toggle lever 22 and the toggle spring 24 form a simple but very effective toggle mechanism.
  • the tilt angle of the toggle levers 22 is determined by the amount by which the inside angle between the first and second stop surfaces 62 and 64 is greater than the outside angle between the first and second end faces 54 and 56.
  • the pawl 26 has laterally triangular prismatic pawl support formations 68, with which they are pivotally mounted from above in triangular pawl support recesses 70, which are located in the lock plates 14 on the side facing away from the contact systems 8 (see FIG. 1).
  • the pawl lever 28 has laterally formed pawl lever support formations 72, with which it engages from below in triangular pawl lever support recesses 74, which are located in the lock plates 14 below the pawl carrying recesses 70 are pivotally mounted.
  • the helical pawl spring 30 is suspended with eyes 76 under slight tension in an associated pawl bore 77 and an associated pawl lever bore 78, whereby the pawl 26 and the pawl lever 28 are held in the lock plates 14.
  • the pawl bore 77 is located in a nose-like first projection 79 of the pawl 26 below the pawl carrying recesses 68.
  • An upward-facing, first locking surface 80 in a rectangular, open recess on the rear side 21 of the support lever 20 is in the switched-off and in the switched-on state of the key switch 10 in operative connection with a downward-looking, second locking surface 82 in a rectangular, enclosed recess 84 of the Pawl lever 28.
  • a downward-facing, first latching surface 86 is formed above the recess 84 in a rectangular, open notch, which in the switched-off and in the switched-on state is operatively connected to a second latching surface 88 which is on the first projection 79 Pawl 26 is formed.
  • the first latching surface 86 and the second latching surface 88 bring about a positive latching between the latch 26 and the latch lever 28, which in turn, under the action of the toggle spring 24, maintains the latch between the latch lever 28 and the support lever 20 so that the switching mechanism 10 is tensioned remains.
  • the pawl 26 has a trigger surface 90 above the pawl support formations 68, which receives the triggering movement of a magnetic or thermal trigger, not shown.
  • the toggle lever abutment 58 and the support lever abutment 60 are to the right of the connecting line of the points of application of the toggle lever spring 24.
  • the support lever 20, the pawl lever 28 and the pawl 26 are in the same positions as in the switched-off state according to FIG. 4.
  • FIG. 6 shows the triggered state of the switch lock 10, in which the contact systems 8 normally pass into the open state.
  • the triggered state has been brought about by the force acting on the left on the trigger surface 90 of the pawl 26 and generated by the trigger in the event of an overcurrent.
  • the pawl 26 and the pawl lever 28 have been unlatched from one another, which has subsequently led to a sudden relaxation of the switching lock 10 by the release of the locking surface 80 of the support lever 20.
  • Fig. 6 the movement limitation of the support lever 20 described above in the counterclockwise direction by the interaction of the lugs 45 of the support lever 20 with the stop angles 46 of the lock plates 14 (see also Fig. 2) can be seen.
  • the shifting link 18 is pivoted clockwise into the off position, then the support lever 20 is pivoted in the same sense by its driving angle 48.
  • the pawl lever nose 92 slides along the back 21 of the support lever 20 (see FIG. 3). Due to the pivotal movement of the pawl lever 28 clockwise, the first locking surface 80 on the support lever 20 comes under the second Locking surface 82 on the pawl lever 28, which in turn is latched by the pawl 26.
  • a third stop surface 98 is formed at an angle on the legs 39 of the switching link 18, which corresponds to a notched, third end surface 97 on the toggle levers 22, which is located on the same side with respect to the second end surface 56, however, is located somewhat closer to the toggle abutment 58. As shown in Fig. 2 it can also be seen that a third stop surface 98 is formed at an angle on the legs 39 of the switching link 18, which corresponds to a notched, third end surface 97 on the toggle levers 22, which is located on the same side with respect to the second end surface 56, however, is located somewhat closer to the toggle abutment 58. As shown in Fig.
  • a fourth end face 99 is formed on the side of the third end face 97 at a closer distance from the toggle lever abutment 58 with respect to the second end face 56 but further with respect to the third end face, which in cooperation with the third stop face 98 is similar to that described above Way to break welded contact pieces 2 and 4 is used in the transition to the triggered state.
  • an inwardly extending, pin-shaped limiting shape 95 is provided which, in the case of strongly welded contact pieces 2 and 4, comes to rest against the associated guide tab 66 on the support lever 20. The storage of the toggle levers 22 in the support lever 20 is thus additionally secured.
