Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an alpine ski boot comprising a shell base on which is at least partially articulated a rod consisting of at least one rear cover and a front cover, the rear cover being articulated relative to the shell base around a transverse axis and comprises a tensioning lever acting in traction on at least one flexible and inextensible link interposed between an anterior movable part of the shoe to be controlled in clamping on a part of the lower leg or of the foot and said lever, that -ci also acting on a rear support support member of the rod on the shell base.
  • This device has a certain number of drawbacks by the very presence of the support member controlled by the lever and which in fact constitutes an intermediate piece to be attached to the rear cover. This constitutes an additional part to be created and to be set up and also requires a rigorous adjustment of the parts which have to cooperate with each other, while the elements which support them are relatively flexible, therefore deformable.
  • Italian Patent No. 1,187,443 reports a control lever acting on two cables, one in connection with an internal clamping plate of the foot, and the other with the cover before it causes clamping on the back cover for locking on the lower leg of the skier.
  • the support bearings are made on the rod at an upper part pivoting on a hinge pin while the other cable is supported on a movable foot holding assembly.
  • an alpine ski boot comprising a shell base, a rod, articulated at least partially on the shell base and consisting of at least one rear cover, and a front movable part, the rear cover being articulated relative to the shell base around a transverse axis and comprising a lever tensioner acting in traction on at least one flexible and inextensible link interposed between the anterior movable part of the shoe to be controlled by tightening on a part of the lower leg or of the foot and said lever, the latter also acting on a recovery member for '' rear support of the rod on the shell bottom characterized in that the rear support recovery member is constituted by at least one second flexible and inextensible link, distinct from the first interposed between the same tensioning lever and a fixed part of the hull base, so that the actuation in locking of the tensioning lever causes, by simultaneous traction on the two links at the same time, the clamping control of the movable part ant
  • the shoe 1 designated globally and represented in FIG. 1 comprises a shell base 2 on the rear part of which is articulated a rear cover 3 around a transverse axis 4 and on the part before which shoe, is articulated a front cover 5, said front covers 5 and rear 3 cooperating to form the upper 6 of the shoe 1.
  • the upper 6 is able to wrap the user's lower leg by lateral wings 5 a of the front cover 5 and 3 a of the rear cover 3 of dimensions such as to allow them to overlap when tightening by means of suitable means.
  • these means consist of a tensioning lever 7 acting in traction on two first flexible and inextensible links 8 arranged symmetrically on either side of the lateral wings 3 a , 5 has covers 3, 5 of the rod 6.
  • the links 8 are arranged in connection, on the one hand with the tensioning lever 7 on anchor points 9 located on either side thereof, and on the other hand on one of a plurality of anchor points 10, 11, 12 produced on the wings 5 a of the front cover 5.
  • the tightening links 8 thus arranged also bear in guide corridors constituted by angle return studs 13 produced on the cover rear 3 and thus driving the rear hoods 3 and front 5 towards each other during a traction exerted by the lever 7 during a rotation about its axis 14.
  • This axis 14 is arranged transversely on a part rear of the cover 3 and allows angular movement of said lever 7, according to F1 in order to loosen the links 8, and according to F2 in order to tighten the same links 8.
  • the tensioning lever 7 is also designed to act on a member for taking up rear support from the rod 6 on the shell base 2.
  • This member is formed according to the invention by two second links 15, also flexible and inextensible, distinct from the first links 8, and interposed between the same tensioning lever 7 and a fixed part 18 of the shell base 2.
  • the actuation in locking of the tensioning lever 7 according to F2 causes, by a simultaneous traction on the links 8 and 15, both the tightening control of the front movable part 5 of the shoe 1, in this case the front cover 5, for a first function provided by the invention and the recovery of rear support of the rod 6 on the shell base 2, without intermediate piece, for a second function.
  • the links 15 are arranged in connection with the tensioning lever 7 on anchor points 16 located on either side thereof.
  • the links 15 are also supported in guide corridors constituted by angle return studs 17 produced on the rear cover 3.
  • the front cover 5 is provided relatively flexible in order to be able to flex in the direction of the rear cover 3 during the tightening function and in particular to leave the rear cover 3 responsible for ensuring the recovery of rear support by means of the links 15 which are hung on anchor points 18 made on upper lateral parts 2a of the shell base 2; for optimal quality of the rear support, these lateral parts 2a are obviously provided rigid, or even undeformable at least in the longitudinal direction of the shoe.
  • This shoe construction makes it possible to provide a plurality of fixed points 18 for attaching the links 15 to the lateral parts 2a of the shell base 2 in order to modify the closed position of the rear cover 3 and therefore the angle at which the rear support is effective.
  • any modification of the attachment of the links 8 on the anchor points 10, 11 or 12 in order to vary the tightening of the rod 3 on the lower leg by bringing the front cover 5 towards the rear cover 3 does not no need to adapt the length of the links 15 for a given position for closing the rear cover 3; indeed, whatever the tightening carried out on the lower leg, pressing backwards on the rear cover 3 relative to the shell base 2 remains the same angularly.
  • the front cover 5 can advantageously be provided articulated on the shell base 2 in the area of the boot end and include lateral means for guiding and connecting 32 relative to said base hull. Furthermore, in addition to the tightening function obtained in the upper part of the rod 6 using the links 8, a flange 31 of a known type can be placed across the front cover 5 in the neck area. -flexion foot / fold and connected on the sides of the shell base 2.
  • lever 7 thus disposed at the rear of the shoe does not constitute an annoying protuberance, whatever its position.
  • the fixed point of the shell base 2A is constituted by a rear edge 20 formed in the heel area and on which is anchored at least one link 15A of rear support recovery forming at its end a U-shaped loop 21 whose branches 21 a , 21 b pass successively in one direction then in the other, two holes 22, 23 formed on a shoulder 24 of the rear cover 3A of the rod disposed under the rear edge 20 of the shell base 2A and intended to come into contact with the latter during traction on the link 15A, by action on the lever 7.
  • the rear cover 3A can tilt by a value E around the point of articulation 4A.
  • the links 8A and 15A consequently take slack according to a value equal to E for both of them.
  • the link 15A for rear support recovery is housed in a longitudinal corridor 25 defined between a rear part of the bottom of the shell 2A and the rear cover 3A on an external face of which the tensioning lever 7 is fixed.
  • the tightening links 8A of the front cover 5 are connected to the tensioning lever 7 by means of a micrometric adjustment nut 26 controlled by a wheel so as to be able to modify the tightening tension on the lower leg.
  • the device according to this example of construction thus makes it possible to modify the value of the tightening of the rod 3 on the lower leg of the skier independently of the locking position of the rear cover 3A relative to the shell base 2A as in the example in figure 1.
  • FIG. 4 differs essentially from that of FIG. 3 in that the rear support recovery links 15B are guided laterally by two fixed return studs 30 arranged on either side of the bottom of the hull. 2B.
  • the tightening links 8C control an anterior movable part of the shoe formed, not by the front cover of the upper, but by a foot support plate internal 33 disposed under the upper part of the bottom of the shell bottom 2C.
  • the tightening links 8C are guided by means of deflection pots constituted by the transverse axis 4C disposed on lateral parts of the shell base 2C and deflection corridors 34 produced on the rear cover of the rod 6C. As the figure shows, it can also be a collar forming the rod.
  • the shoes can have structures different from those previously described. This is how the 1D model represented in FIG. 6 essentially differs from the previous ones in that the rod 6D consists of a rear cover 3D and a front cover 5D articulated on the base of the 2D shell by a common articulation 4D .
