Description

Verpackungszuschnitt
Die Erfindung richtet sich auf eine Verpackung zur Umhüllung meh¬ rerer gleichförmiger Einzelverpackungen wie Flaschen, Spender, Dosen, Pulverschachteln o.a.
Derzeit ist es häufig üblich, Einzelverpackungen in einer ge¬ wünschten Anzahl in ein Tray einzustellen und anschließend mit einer Schrumpffolie zu umhüllen. Auf diese Weise werden Packungs¬ einheiten mit mehreren Einzelpackungen oder -Verpackungen in den Handel gebracht. Die Schrumpffolien sind durchsichtig, so daß je¬ derzeit zu erkennen ist, welche Produkte sich in diesen Verpak- kungen befinden. Aus Umweltgesichtspunkten werden nun aber Alter¬ nativen zu mit Schrumpffolien umhüllten SchrumpfVerpackungen ge¬ sucht.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist die Schaffung einer Verpackung, die ebenso wie Schrumpfverpackungen an die Distributionslogistik des Handels angepaßt ist, bei der aber weitestgehend auf die Verwen¬ dung von Kunststoff verzichtet ist und die in den vorhandenen Ent¬ sorgungssystemen des Handels zu beseitigen ist.
Bei einer Verpackung der eingangs bezeichneten Art wird diese Auf¬ gabe gemäß der Erfindung dadurch gelöst, daß die Verpackung aus einem einteiligen, zu der Verpackung aufgerichteten Zuschnitt aus Karton- oder Wellpappe besteht, der eine Breite aufweist, die den addierten Tiefen der Einzelverpackungen entspricht und der durch
ERSATZBLATT vier parallel zu einer Seitenkante den Zuschnitt durchziehende Rillungen in fünf Abschnitte unterteilt ist, wobei der mittlere erste Abschnitt eine Seitenwand der Verpackung bildet und eine Länge aufweist, die der Höhe einer einzelnen Einzelverpackung ent¬ spricht und wobei der an einer Seite daran anschließende zweite Abschnitt die Bodenwand der Verpackung bildet und eine Länge auf¬ weist, die der Breite einer einzelnen der zu umhüllenden Ver¬ packungen entspricht, und der auf der anderen Seite an den ersten Abschnitt anschließende dritte Abschnitt die Deckelwand der Ver¬ packung bildet und eine Länge aufweist, die der Breite der Deckel¬ fläche einer einzelnen Einzelverpackung entspricht und wobei die der Seitenwand jeweils gegenüberliegenden vierten und fünften Ab¬ schnitte kürzer als der erste Abschnitt ausgebildet sind und, daß die Verpackung durch die Längsendbereiche des vierten und fünften Abschnittes jeweils direkt mit dem ersten Abschnitt verbindende Streifen in dem aufgerichteten Zustand fixiert ist.
Hierdurch wird eine Verpackung geschaffen, mit der mehrere zu ei¬ ner Verkaufseinheit zusammengefaßte EinzelVerpackungen wie bisher übliche SchrumpfVerpackungen handelbar sind. Die Einzelverpak- kungen sind in der sie umhüllenden Verpackung sicher gehalten und können nur durch Zerstörung der Verpackung entnommen werden. Die Verpackung weist genügend große Freiflächen, d. h. nicht von Kar¬ ton oder Wellpappe umschlossene Bereiche auf, so daß die in der umhüllenden Verpackung verkauften bzw. dargebotenen Eiπzelverpak- kungen sichtbar bleiben. Die EinzelVerpackungen sind von dem die Verpackung bildenden Zuschnitt aus Karton oder Wellpappe dreisei¬ tig vollständig und auf einer vierten Seite teilweise umschlossen. Zwei Seitenflächen werden überhaupt nicht von dem Zuschnitt bedeckt. Über diese Seiten verlaufen die die Verpackung in dem aufgerichteten Zustand fixierenden Streifen.
RSATZBLATT Um neben einer gerade und senkrecht verlaufenden Seitenwand auch eine an die seitliche Außenkontur der zu umhüllenden Einzelver¬ packungen angepaßte Verpackung ausbilden zu können, sieht die Er¬ findung in Ausgestaltung vor, daß der erste Abschnitt mittels mindestens zweier weiterer Rillungen in mindestens drei Abschnitte unterteilt ist. Diese Rillungen können vorzugsweise gegenläufig, d. h. eine Rillung auf der Außenseite und eine Rillung auf der Innenseite des Zuschnittes, ausgebildet sein, um somit einen an die Außenkontur einer beispielsweise gewölbten oder eine Schulter aufweisenden Flasche angepaßten, in einem Teilbereich geneigten Verlauf der Seitenwand der Verpackung auszubilden.
Schließlich sieht die Erfindung vor, daß die Streifen Klebeband¬ streifen sind. Durch das automatische oder auch von Hand erfol¬ gende Aufbringen der Klebestreifen ist der zu der umhüllenden Verpackung aufgerichtete Zuschnitt nach Einsetzen der Einzelver¬ packungen sicher zu fixieren. Neben den Klebebandstreifen ist es auch möglich, die den vierten und fünften Abschnitt jeweils beid- seitig mit der Seitenwand verbindenden Streifen aus Karton- oder
Wellpappe herzustellen und mittels Klebstoff an der Verpackung zu befestigen. Darüber hinaus können die Streifen aber auch bereits Bestandteil des zu der Verpackung aufzurichtenden Zuschnittes sein.
Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung besteht aus Wellpappe oder Karton, so daß weitestgehend auf die Verwendung von Kunststoff verzichtet werden kann. Lediglich die anzubringenden Klebestreifen können eventuell Kunststoffanteile aufweisen. Weiterhin läßt sich die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung mit den beim Handel bestehenden Entsorgungssystemen entsorgen, da auf die Verwendung von Kunst-
ERSATZBLATT stoff verzichtet wird und ausschließlich Packmittel und Pack¬ hilfsmittel aus Karton- oder Wellpappe verwendet werden.
ERSATZBLATT Die Erfindung ist nachstehend anhand der Zeichnungen beispiels¬ weise näher erläutert. Diese zeigt in
Figur 1 ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel eines Zuschnitts für eine erfindungsgemäße Verpackung;

Die Figur 1 zeigt einen rechteckigen Zuschnitt 1 aus Karton- oder Wellpappe. Die Breite B des Zuschnittes 1 entspricht den addierten Tiefen der Einzelverpackungen 2 (Figur 2), die in Mehrzahl in der aus dem Zuschnitt 1 gebildeten Verpackung 3 (Figur 2) verpackt werden sollen. D. h. die Breite B ist auf die Anzahl der in der Verpackung 3 zu umhüllenden EinzelVerpackungen 2 abgestimmt und entsprechend dimensioniert. Der einteilige Zuschnitt 1 ist durch vier Rillungen 4,5,6,7, die parallel zu einer Seitenkante 8 den Zuschnitt 1 durchziehen in fünf Abschnitte 9,10,11,12,13 unterteilt. Der mittlere erste Abschnitt 9 weist eine Länge Li auf, die der Höhe einer einzelnen Einzelverpackung 2 entspricht. Bei zu der Verpakkung 3 aufgerichtetem Zuschnitt 1 bildet der erste Abschnitt 9 eine Seitenwand der Verpackung 3. Der an den ersten Abschnitt 9 anschließende zweite Abschnitt 10 weist eine Länge L2 auf, die der Breite Bi einer Einzelverpackung 2 entspricht. Bei zu der
Verpackung 3 aufgerichtetem Zuschnitt 1 bildet der zweite Ab-
ERSAT schnitt 10 die Bodenwand der Verpackung 3. Der auf der anderen Seite an den ersten Abschnitt 9 anschließende dritte Abschnitt 11 weist eine Länge L3 auf, die der Breite B2 der Deckelfläche einer EinzelVerpackung 2 entspricht. Bei zu der Verpackung 3 aufgerich¬ tetem Zuschnitt 1 bildet der dritte Abschnitt 11 die Deckelwand der Verpackung. An den zweiten Abschnitt 10 schließt sich ein vierter Abschnitt 12 und an den dritten Abschnitt 11 ein fünfter Abschnitt 13 an. Der vierte Abschnitt 12 und der fünfte Abschnitt 13 sind in ihrer jeweiligen Länge kürzer ausgebildet als der erste Abschnitt 9. Bei zu der Verpackung 3 aufgerichtetem Zuschnitt 1 bilden der vierte Abschnitt 12 und der fünfte Abschnitt 13 die der durch den ersten Abschnitt 9 gebildeten Seitenwand gegenüberlie¬ gende Seitenwand der Verpackung 3. Nach Aufrichten des Zuschnittes 1 zu der Verpackung 3 und Einsetzen der gewünschten Anzahl an Ein¬ zelVerpackungen 2 wird der Zuschnitt 1 in dem aus der Figur 2 er¬ sichtlichen aufgerichteten Zustand mittels Streifen 14,15,16 und 17, in dem hier dargestellten Beispiel mittels Klebestreifen, fi¬ xiert. Hierbei geht jeweils von den sich gegenüberliegenden Längs¬ endbereichen des vierten Abschnittes 12 und des fünften Abschnit¬ tes 13 ein Streifen 14,15,16,17 aus, welcher den jeweiligen Längsendbereich direkt mit dem die Rückwand der Verpackung 3 bil¬ denden ersten Abschnitt 9 verbindet. Auf diese Weise ist zum einen der Zuschnitt 1 in dem aufgerichteten Zustand fixiert und sind zum anderen auch die Einzelverpackungen 2 sicher in der Verpackung 3 gehalten. Die Einzelverpackungen 2 können der Verpackung 3 nur nach Zerstörung mindestens eines der Streifen 14 - 17 oder der partiellen Zerstörung des die übrigen Wandbereiche der Verpackung 3 bildenden Zuschnittes 1 entnommen werden. Insgesamt ist der Zu¬ schnitt 1 derart dimensioniert, daß die Verpackung 3 die zu um¬ hüllenden Einzelverpackungen 2 eng umschließt.
ERSATZBLATT Aus den Figuren 3 und 4 ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel ersichtlich, bei welchem der insgesamt mit la bezeichnete Zuschnitt eine Modi¬ fikation aufweist, um ihn an EinzelVerpackungen 2a anzupassen, die eine Außenkontur mit einem geneigt verlaufenden Wandungsbereich aufweist. Während die Seitenwand 9 der Verpackung 3 gerade und senkrecht verläuft, weist die entsprechende Seitenwand der Ver¬ packung 3a neben gerade und senkrecht verlaufenden Abschnitten 9a und 9c einen geneigt verlaufenden Abschnitt 9b auf. In bezug auf die in den Figuren 3 und 4 dargestellte Ausführungsform wird nachstehend nur auf die wesentlichen Unterschiede eingegangen. Zu der Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 1 und 2 gleiche Teile und Elemente sind mit denselben Bezugszeichen wie vorstehend versehen und im einzelnen nicht näher erläutert. Der wesentliche Unter¬ schied des in den Figuren 3 und 4 dargestellten Ausführungsbei¬ spieles besteht darin, daß der erste Abschnitt 9 mittels zweier weiterer, den Zuschnitt la durchziehende Rillungen 18 und 19 in drei Abschnitten 9a, 9b und 9c unterteilt ist. Hierbei ist die eine Rillung 18 auf derselben Seite wie die Rillungen 4 - 7 und die andere Rillung 19 auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Zu¬ schnittes la ausgebildet. Die beiden weiteren Rillungen 19 und 18 weisen einen Abstand L4 auf, der der Länge der Schulter 20 der
Einzelverpackung 2a entspricht. Auf diese Weise ist bei zu der Verpackung 3a aufgerichteten Zuschnitt la ein geneigt verlaufender
Wandereich 9b auszubilden, der sich an den Verlauf und die Neigung der Schulter 20 der Einzelverpackung 2a anpaßt sowie sich an die
Schulter 20 anlegt.

Claims

P a t e n t a n s p r ü c h e
Verpackung (3, 3a) zur Umhüllung mehrerer gleichförmiger Einzelverpackungen (2, 2a) wie Flaschen, Spender, Dosen, Pulverschachteln o.a., dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie aus einem einteiligen, zu der Verpackung (3, 3a) aufgerichtete Zuschnitt (1, la) aus Karton- oder Wellpappe besteht, der eine Breite (B) aufweist, die den addierten Tiefen der Einzelverpackungen (2, 2a) entspricht und der durch vier parallel zu einer Seitenkante (8) den Zuschnitt (1, la) durchziehende Rillungen (4,5,6,7) in fünf Abschnitte (9,10,11,12,13) unterteilt ist, wobei der mittlere erste Ab¬ schnitt (9) eine Seitenwand der Verpackung (1, la) bildet und eine Länge l\ aufweist, die der Höhe einer einzelnen Einzel¬ verpackung (2, 2a) entspricht, und wobei der an einer Seite daran anschließende zweite Abschnitt (10) die Bodenwand der Verpackung (3, 3a) bildet und eine Länge (L2) aufweist, die der Breite (Bj) einer EinzelVerpackung (3, 3a) entspricht und wobei der auf der anderen Seite an den ersten Abschnitt (9) anschließende dritte Abschnitt (11) die Deckelwand der Ver¬ packung (3, 3a) bildet und eine Länge L3 aufweist, die der Breite (B2) der Deckelfläche einer Einzelverpackuπg (3, 3a) entspricht und wobei die der Seitenwand (9) jeweils gegen¬ überliegenden vierten und fünften Abschnitte (12, 13) kürzer als der erste Abschnitt (9) ausgebildet sind und, daß die Verpackung (3, 3a) durch die gegenüberliegenden Längsendbe¬ reiche des vierten und fünften Abschnittes (12, 13) jeweils direkt mit dem ersten Abschnitt (9) verbindende Streifen (14,15,16,17) in dem aufgerichteten Zustand fixiert ist.
2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der erste Abschnitt (9) mittels mindestens zweier weiterer Rillungen (18, 19) in mindestens drei Abschnitte (9a, 9b, 9c) unterteilt ist.
3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Streifen (14, 15, 16, 17) Klebebandstreifen sind.
