Definitions

  • the invention relates to a chair, in particular a work or office chair, with a seat support with a seat which can be pivoted in the front region about a horizontal pivoting pivot axis and which can be changed in inclination, and a backrest support with backrest which can be changed in proportion to the inclination of the seat support , in which with increasing inclination of the seat support it can be adjusted in the direction of the backrest to a limited extent and its front area can be lowered to a limited extent, the seat support pivot axis being adjustable in guides sloping backwards, in which the backrest support is guided under the seat and rotatable on the seat support is mounted, in which the backrest support is extended beyond this seat support pivot bearing in the direction of the seat support pivot axis and is articulated with its end on the bearing block and in which the bearing block with a column support f is provided for the pedestal of the chair frame.
  • a chair of this type is known from DE 39 16 474 C2.
  • the entire adjustment mechanism required for the synchronous adjustment of the seat support and backrest support is located below the seat.
  • a gas pressure spring is provided as a spring arrangement, which is articulated on the bearing block and on the backrest support supports.
  • this spring arrangement has no possibility of setting a set inclination of the seat support and backrest support.
  • DE 36 17 539 C1 shows a spring arrangement for a chair with a seat support and a backrest support, which are pivotally connected to one another by means of a backrest pivot bearing and are both pivotable relative to a bearing block connected to the base frame, the seat support in the front region around a horizontal seat support Swivel axis is pivotally mounted on the pedestal, in which gas pressure springs with approximately the same characteristic curve are arranged on both sides of the pedestal, which are supported on the pedestal and in which an adjustable weight compensation spring, which is supported on the pedestal and on the seat carrier, is arranged in the middle between the two gas pressure springs.
  • the seat support and backrest support are independently adjustable and adjustable.
  • this requires a further, lockable gas pressure spring, which is supported on the backrest support and the seat support.
  • the two gas pressure springs supported on the pedestal can also be locked and are also supported on the seat support.
  • the weight compensation spring engages between the seat support pivot axis and the pillar on the seat support and is designed as a compression spring that is supported on the bearing block.
  • the adjustment mechanism is complicated and the effort of the spring arrangement is great.
  • the swivel bearings are loaded unevenly.
  • a gas pressure spring is arranged on both sides of the pillar support of the bearing block, that the one ends support the gas pressure springs behind the pedestal support on the pedestal so that the other ends of the gas pressure springs are supported on the seat support in the area of the seat support pivot axis, that between the seat support pivot axis and the support pillar support a two-armed adjustment lever with a horizontal bearing axis on the seat support is rotatably mounted that the lever arm of the adjusting lever facing the backrest is connected in an articulated manner to one end of a weight compensation pressure spring, which is supported at the other end in an articulated manner in front of the pillar support on the bearing block, and that the lever arm directed to the seat support pivot axis of the Adjusting lever supported under tension on the end of an adjustable clamping screw in the seat support.
  • the backrest support is not pivotally connected to the rear end of the seat support, but is supported below the seat support in front of the pillar on the pedestal.
  • the backrest support is rotatably mounted below the seat on the seat support.
  • the two gas pressure springs are supported behind the pedestal on the pedestal and are guided forward to the area of the seat support pivot axis and are supported on the seat support.
  • the gas springs are fairly flat and are not lowered when changing the inclination of the seat support and backrest support so that additional space in the cover must be kept free. The cover can therefore connect directly to the bearing block.
  • the weight compensation compression spring is placed between the seat support pivot axis and the pedestal and arranged between the seat support and the pedestal, whereby a translation can be included for their adjustment by means of an adjusting lever and a clamping screw.
  • the adjustment of the seat in the direction of the backrest and the lowering of the front seating area is retained and at the change in the inclination of the backrest support, the backrest performs an additional lowering movement towards the seat, whereby the so-called "shirt pull-out effect" is avoided. This is achieved solely by the rotary mounting of the backrest support on the seat support and by the rotatable support of the ends of the backrest support on the bearing block below the seat.
  • the swivel connection of the seat support and bearing block is designed in such a way that the seat support pivot axis is fixed in the bearing block and is adjustable in guides of the seat support. It can be provided that the guides are designed as sloping elongated holes or circular-shaped guides with a convex curvature directed towards the base.
  • the ends of the guides facing the backrest are designed as snap-in receptacles for the seat support pivot axis, then the configuration of the seat support with the seat can only be lifted by the application of force.
  • one of the two gas pressure springs is designed as a lockable gas pressure spring.
  • the backrest support consists of two spaced-apart support tubes, which are connected to the ends facing the seat support with a connection plate, that on the connection plate two in the direction of Seat carrier pivot axis directed pivot levers are attached, which are rotatably connected to the seat carrier by means of separate seat carrier pivot bearings and are supported with their ends on a common support shaft of the bearing block.
  • the installation of the counterbalance compression spring is carried out according to one embodiment so that the counterbalance compression spring is installed between the seat bracket and the bearing bracket inclined slightly forward, with a cardan shaft between the adjusting lever and the counterbalancing compression spring to support the pillar bracket a larger one Has a distance, such as a support shaft between the weight compensation compression spring and the bearing block.
  • the adjusting means for the weight compensation compression spring are designed so that the adjusting lever is arranged approximately horizontally in the seat carrier, and that the clamping screw is adjustable in a threaded receptacle of the seat carrier and is supported on the underside of the lever arm of the adjusting lever directed towards the seat carrier pivot axis, provided that is that the clamping screw is led out through an opening in the bearing block and connected with a handle.
  • the chair frame with the pedestal is not shown. Only in a pedestal 10 is a column support 11 mounted so that the pedestal 10 can be connected to the column of the chair frame, which contains an adjustable lifting device in a manner known per se.
  • the bearing block 10 extends to the front of the chair and accommodates a seat support pivot axis 15 in vertical struts (as shown in FIG. 3), which first stretches across the width of the bearing block 10 and is adjustable with its ends in guides 22 of a seat support 20 is as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • the guides 22 are designed as circular arc-shaped elongated holes, with the convexly curved side facing the standing surface.
  • the guides 22 drop towards the rear of the chair and are themselves formed at the associated ends as locking receptacles for the seat support pivot axis 15, so that the starting position of the seat 30 shown in FIG. 1 is maintained and can only be lifted by the application of force.
  • an adjustment mechanism is arranged below the seat 30, which in addition to the bearing block 10 and the seat support 20 comprises a spring arrangement with two gas pressure springs 25 and 25 'and a weight compensation compression spring 27.
  • the backrest support comprises two spaced tube sections 32, to which the backrest 33 is fastened and which are guided below the seat 30. There they are also fastened below the seat support 20 to a connecting plate 34 on which two pivot levers 31 directed towards the front of the chair come out, which are rotatably mounted on the seat support 20 by means of separate seat support pivot bearings 21, as can be seen in the schematic illustration in FIG. 3 is.
  • These seat support pivot bearings 21 are in the area of the support pillar receptacle 11 of the pedestal 10, that is to say approximately in the central area of the seat 30.
  • the ends of the pivot levers 31 are angled slightly toward the standing surface after the seat support pivot supports 21 and between the support pillar receptacle 11 and the seat support pivot axis 15 is rotatably supported on the pedestal 10, as the continuous support shaft 13 shows, which is mounted in vertical webs of the pedestal 10.
  • the spring arrangement has the two gas pressure springs 25 and 25 ', which are symmetrical to the sides of the column support 11 are arranged. Both gas pressure springs 25 and 25 'are supported on the bearing block 10 via the pivot bearings 14 behind the column support 11. The other ends of the gas pressure springs 25 and 25 'are guided forward into the region of the seat support pivot axis 15 and are supported on support shafts 23 which are mounted in vertical webs of the seat support 20.
  • the gas pressure spring 25 ' can be blocked in order to be able to set the inclinations of the seat support 20 and backrest support in a known manner.
  • a weight compensation compression spring 27 is provided, which is arranged between the seat support pivot axis 15 and the column support 11 of the bearing block 10.
  • the lower end of the weight compensation compression spring 27, which is inclined slightly forwards, is supported in an articulated manner on a support shaft 16, which is fixed in front of the column support 11 in the bearing block 10.
  • the upper end of the counterbalance compression spring 27 is rotatably mounted on an articulated shaft 28 which is part of a two-armed adjusting lever 26.
  • This adjusting lever 26 is rotatably mounted almost horizontally in the seat support 20, as the bearing axis 24 shows.
  • the adjusting lever 26 is aligned parallel to the gas pressure springs 25 and 25 'and lies in the center plane of FIG. 3, ie in the center axis of the seat.
  • the lever arm of the adjusting lever 26 directed towards the seat support pivot axis 15 is under the force of the weight compensation compression spring 27 on the end of a clamping screw 29 which is adjustable in a threaded receptacle 15 of the seat support 20.
  • the bearing block 10 has an opening 12 through which the clamping screw 29 is led out and is provided with a handle. With the clamping screw 29, the adjusting lever 26 can be pivoted and the tensioning of the weight compensation compression spring 27 can be changed. The weight compensation compression spring 27 then exercises on the seat support 20 a torque that counteracts the torque triggered by the load on the seat 30.
  • the adjustment mechanism takes up little space below the seat 30, which is limited to the base area by the bearing block 10. Since no springs swing out of this space, the cover can connect directly to the bearing block 10.
