Definitions

  • the invention relates to a goods detection device for sales transactions according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a goods detection device is known from DE 31 37 572 A1.
  • a scanning device for reading goods labels is arranged in a housing.
  • the housing can be adjusted in various positions along a circular path. In a position below the goods transport surface, the scanning takes place through a stationary goods detection window. In this position, the distance between the goods identification on the goods and the scanning device is constant, so that the goods identification can be read in accurately.
  • the goods transport window is not also adjusted. That means that in the vertical position at which the housing is arranged to the side of the goods, the distance between the scanning device and the goods identification can vary. The reading in of the goods labeling is impaired or even impossible.
  • a goods detection device has already been proposed in which the goods detection window is vertically adjustable and is arranged in an upright position in any operating position.
  • goods detection devices are known from practice, in which the goods detection window is provided in a horizontal goods transport surface and in alignment with it or above the latter. All goods, goods or articles must be placed on the goods transport area for registration and guided past the goods entry window so that the goods identification can be detected by a scanning device arranged behind the goods entry window. Problems with the registration can occur particularly with bulky and / or heavy articles, since these not only have to be lifted onto the goods transport surface by the user, i.e. the operating personnel or the customer, but also have to be rotated in such a way that the goods identification attached to the goods Goods inspection window points. Depending on the weight of the article, such a process may require a great deal of effort, so that certain groups of users may not be able to register the articles themselves.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a goods detection device of the type specified that allows accurate reading of the goods identification in all positions of the housing.
  • this object is achieved by a goods detection device having the features of claim 1.
  • the goods entry window can thus be at least partially adapted to the location of the goods identification.
  • the goods inspection window In the vertical position, the goods inspection window is arranged upright next to the transport surface.
  • the goods labels are often located on one side surface, so that the goods in question can simply be placed on the goods transport surface to record their goods labels without the laborious turning of the goods around a horizontal axis as is necessary for the cases where the goods entry window is provided in the goods transport area.
  • the goods registration window When the goods registration window is arranged in the vertical position, it may be necessary to rotate the goods around a vertical axis, depending on the attachment of the goods label, so that the goods label faces the goods registration window.
  • a rotation of the article in question around a vertical axis is usually easier than turning around a horizontal axis.
  • the goods detection window can preferably be arranged on the side of the operating surface near the goods transport surface.
  • the goods entry window can be provided in holders which are present for the operating surface anyway and therefore accommodate both the operating surface and the goods entry window in the sense of a double effect.
  • the goods detection window is arranged in the horizontal position either in the area of the goods transport surface and in alignment with it or above the goods transport surface and at a distance from it. This makes it possible to register articles on the goods transport surface without changing their position, where the goods identification is attached to the top or bottom or to a side wall. To register the goods in question, it is only necessary to bring the housing with the goods detection window therein into the position facing the goods identification. Depending on the weight of the goods to be registered, adjusting the housing is generally associated with considerably less effort than rotating the goods into the position to be registered.
  • the housing in all positions of the goods detection window in the same plane transverse to the goods transport direction.
  • the goods transport area can be made relatively short that a user to adjust the housing can normally maintain its position for placing the goods on the goods transport surface.
  • the housing is slidably guided by means of an L-shaped sliding guide and guide bolts engaging therein, the sliding guide preferably being provided partly on an approximately vertical support, partly on a goods detection table connected to it and forming the goods transport surface.
  • the sliding guide preferably being provided partly on an approximately vertical support, partly on a goods detection table connected to it and forming the goods transport surface.
  • the goods detection window is also protected during the operation of the goods detection device, so that the window can be damaged less easily.
  • the sliding guide can be incorporated into the carrier and the goods entry table and can therefore be connected to it in one piece.
  • This embodiment has the advantage that the sliding guide can be easily repaired and replaced if necessary.
  • the sliding guide has a horizontal and a vertical section, the horizontal section is arranged in the area of the recess formed in the goods entry table and the vertical section in the area of the recess formed in the carrier. The sliding guide is thus simply provided on parts of the goods scanning device that are normally present anyway and are already in a horizontal or vertical position.
  • the sliding guide is preferably a guide groove which extends along the horizontal and vertical section and, in one development, has a shoulder near its upper end which divides the guide groove into a part below and above, the latter having a smaller groove depth than the former.
  • the guide bolts are preferably provided laterally protruding from the housing near its ends, the guide bolts arranged near one end and guided exclusively in the part with a larger groove depth having a length approximately corresponding to this groove depth, and the guide bolts arranged near the other end have one of the smaller groove depths about the same length. This makes it possible to always have one end of the housing in the guide groove and another end only in certain window positions in the guide groove. Advantages can arise in particular in that the guide pins of greater length can be supported on the shoulder of the guide groove, so that the housing is held at least at one end, in particular in its horizontal position spaced from the goods transport surface.
  • the guide groove extending in the vertical section is open at the top, so that it is in the vertical position of the goods detection window guide bolts located at the upper end of the housing and having the length corresponding to the smaller groove depth can come out of engagement with the guide groove when the housing is pushed up.
  • This enables a pivoting movement of the housing about the axis of the guide bolts of greater length from the vertical to the horizontal position of the goods inspection window.
  • a support which at least partially shortens the distance between opposing sliding guides, is provided for the housing arranged above the relevant part of the recess and at a distance therefrom, the upper edge of the support below one of the upper end of the Guide groove provided paragraph intersecting horizontal plane is arranged.
  • the housing is held securely in a position which permits a position of the goods detection window that is spaced apart from and parallel to the goods detection surface.
  • the housing is thus securely supported on the one hand with its guide bolts on the shoulder of the guide groove and on the other hand on the support, so that inadvertent adjustment of the housing is largely prevented.
  • the vertical distance between the upper edge of the support and the upper end of the shoulder corresponds to the vertical distance between the wall of the housing receiving the goods detection window and the outer end of the guide bolts remote from the wall. This measure ensures that the housing and thus the goods detection window is oriented approximately horizontally and parallel to the goods transport surface in the position spaced from the goods transport surface.
  • This provides a flat goods transport surface on the one hand, so that the goods to be registered can be easily pushed from one side of the goods transport surface to the other.
  • adjustment of the goods detection window located in the vertical position to the horizontal position aligned with the goods transport surface is prevented, so that this can only be taken up when the spring base is pressed down against its pretension. An unintentional shifting of the housing into the position of the goods detection window that is aligned with the goods transport surface is thus largely excluded.
  • the sliding guide of the housing is advantageously independent of the goods entry table or vertically adjustable with it. This makes it possible to precisely adapt the goods transport area to the level of the relevant articles to be registered, so that they can simply be pushed onto the goods transport area.
  • the height of the goods transport area can thus be matched to the height of the means of transport. An adjustment of the goods entry table and thus the goods transport surface can therefore automatically result in a corresponding adjustment of the goods entry window. The user therefore does not have to worry whether the goods entry window is also set at a suitable height for the registration of the goods if the height of the goods entry table is changed.
  • a goods capture device 1 for sales is shown schematically in a partially sectioned representation.
  • the goods scanning device 1 has a front (in FIG. 1 pointing to the right) and rear (pointing in FIG. 1 to the left) column 2, 3, which are connected to one another and the lower ends of which are fixed via a base 4, for example with the aid of fastening screws, not shown are connected to a floor 5.
  • the front pillar 2 has flattened corners 6 according to FIG. 3.
  • a carrier 7 is guided in a manner not shown on the front column 2 vertically displaceable (see arrows E, F). But it is it is also possible to form the support columnar and connect it directly to the base and the floor.
  • a goods registration table 10 is fastened to the carrier 7 and has a horizontal goods transport surface 11 forming a transport path as the top.
  • an adjustable housing 12 is arranged on the carrier 7, in which a goods detection window 13, which faces the area above the goods transport surface 11 and extends parallel to the goods transport direction (see arrow A in FIG. 3), which is optionally located in through the adjustable housing 12 a horizontal or vertical position B, C, D.
  • the goods detection window 13 In the vertical position C (dashed line), the goods detection window 13 is arranged upright next to the goods transport surface 11, whereas in the horizontal position it is optionally in the area of the goods transport surface 11 (see position D in solid lines) and flush with it or above the goods transport surface 11 (see position B in dash-dotted lines) and is spaced from this. Since the goods inspection window 11 is arranged in the housing 12 such that it is flush with a wall 14 of the housing, the housing 12 is adjusted in order to arrange the goods inspection window in the desired position B, C or D so that at least the wall 14 of the housing 12 is in the same position as the goods inspection window 13.
  • the housing 12 is arranged in all positions B, C, D of the goods detection window 13 in the same plane transverse to the goods transport direction (see arrow A) and by means of an L-shaped sliding guide 15 and guide pins 16, 17 engaging therein slidably guided.
  • the sliding guide 15 is shown in more detail in FIGS. 1 and 4 and has one horizontal section 20 and a vertical section 21, the former being provided on the goods registration table 10, the latter on the carrier 7, as will be explained in more detail below.
  • the length of the horizontal section 20 corresponds approximately to the length of the housing 12, while the length of the vertical section 21 is determined by the length of the housing 12 and the degree of vertical displacement of the housing 12 relative to the goods transport surface.
  • the sliding guide 15 is arranged in the side walls of the recess 22 which run transversely to the direction of goods transport (see arrow A). As can be seen in particular in FIGS. 1 and 3, the horizontal section 20 is thus arranged in the region of the recess 22 formed in the goods inspection table 10 and the vertical section 21 in the region of the recess formed in the carrier 7.
  • the sliding guide 15 is a guide groove 24 which extends along the horizontal and vertical sections 20, 21 and which near its upper end 25 has a shoulder 26 which divides the guide groove 24 into a part 27 above and below it , 28 divided, the former (27) having a smaller groove depth than the latter (28).
  • the part 27 of the guide groove 24 is shown in FIG. 4 open at the top and flared.
  • a support device 30 is provided which is integrally connected to the vertical section 21 of the sliding guide 15 and serves as a support 31 for the housing 12 which is formed above the part of the recess 22 formed in the goods inspection table and is spaced apart therefrom.
  • the support 31 connects laterally to the support device 30 such that the distance in the installed state between mutually opposite sliding guides 15 is partially shortened.
  • the shortest distance between end faces 32 of the supports 31 is less than the width of the housing 12.

  • the shoulder 26 in the guide groove 24 is, as shown in FIG. 4, approximately semi-cylindrical. but it can also be rectangular.
  • the sliding guide 15 is detachably fastened to the side walls 23 of the recess 22 by means of fastening means (not shown in more detail), such as screws, which are seated in through bores 34. But it is also possible to work the guide groove 24 directly into the side wall of the recess.
  • the guide bolts 16, 17 are provided on the side of the housing 12, projecting near the ends 35, 36 thereof, the guide bolts 16 arranged near the one end 35 being guided only in the part 28 with a larger groove depth and having a length corresponding to this groove depth.
  • the guide bolts 17 arranged near the other end 36 have a length approximately corresponding to the smaller groove depth. It follows that the guide pin 17 can move out of engagement with the guide groove 24 when the housing 12 is pushed up from the position C into the position B of the goods detection window 13, since the guide bolts 17 can be guided past the shoulder 26. Paragraph 26 therefore does not represent a limitation of the displacement path for the guide bolts 17.
  • a pivotable handle 37 is let in, which is biased towards its position in alignment with the wall 14 (see FIG. 2). With the help of these handles 37, the housing can easily be transferred from one position to the other of the goods inspection window.
