Definitions

  • the invention relates to a product presentation card based on plastic or cardboard, which is intended in particular for the presentation of micro-fluorescent lamps in product stands.
  • Such goods stands usually consist of a rod or a bracket on a frame or a vertical wall.
  • the packaged goods are pushed onto the rod or the bracket by means of a punch or recess provided in the packaging, so that they can be removed by interested parties for the purpose of purchase or closer examination.
  • the goods are usually firmly integrated into the packaging, often by means of a plastic film welded onto a card. More information about the product or its installation is usually printed on this card.
  • the packaging serves several purposes at the same time. First of all, it should offer the goods some protection against damage. Furthermore, it should enable viewing of the goods. After all, the premature use of or handling the Goods are prevented. All of these functions are achieved by welding or wrapping the goods in a clear plastic film.
  • the conventional packaging concept has proven to be in need of improvement due to the legal regulations for the reduction of waste which have occurred in the meantime or which will arise in the near future, in particular the obligation to take back packaging that is no longer desired by the customer.
  • DE-U-91 05 884.8 describes a goods packaging created from a one-piece material strip with a punched-out area for receiving a goods carrier, the material strips having tabs formed at each end by incisions which, in the finished packaging, form a housing that envelops the goods to be packaged the material strip is bent back and fixed on it.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a packaging for the presentation of goods which is designed to save material and does not require composite materials.
  • the packaging should be returnable by type, particularly as part of the "DER GRÜNE PUNKT" campaign.
  • a product presentation card of the type mentioned at the outset with a punched-out portion for receiving a rod or bracket of a product stand, which has at least one side flap formed by one or two incisions extending from the edge into the card interior and connected to the card on one side, whereby the side flap has an edge which springs back towards the edge of the card and is intended to fit into a suitable gap presenting goods to be inserted and clamped there.
  • the product presentation card according to the invention can be produced from a uniform material without the use of materials of a different type, which enables the packaging to be sorted according to type and facilitates its recycling or recycling.
  • the goods are also so firmly connected to the presentation card that an accidental separation of goods and cards is avoided and the card still fulfills the task of protecting the goods from damage. Protection against damage is provided insofar as the card itself protects one side of the product and the edges of the card projecting over the goods provide a shield to the sides; since the old integrated plastic packaging also only provides a very limited protection of the goods against external violence, there is at least no deterioration here.
  • the card according to the invention is particularly suitable for goods whose assembly ends with the insertion of a precisely fitting end piece, for example with the insertion of a cover or the fitting of a housing half.
  • the cover for the luminous field is used for the final assembly of micro-fluorescent lamps.
  • the side flap of the card according to the invention can be between Cover and housing inserted and clamped there. Additional hold on the card can be achieved in that the plug contact present on such a lamp is inserted into punched-out areas of a further tab located in the center of the card, which is folded out vertically from the card plane.
  • the presentation card according to the invention has at its upper end a custom punched-out area for receiving a rod or bracket of a goods stand.
  • a punch-out can be, for example, a simple hole for receiving a rod, or it can also be elongated for receiving a bracket formed from two wires running parallel to one another; Mixed forms of these are also possible. Further embodiments of this punching out, for example in the form of incisions on opposite card edges, with which the card is hung between two parallel bars, are also possible.
  • the card itself can be of any shape, for example square, rectangular, circular, oval or adapted to the contours of the object to be presented.
  • the card is preferably of an elongated rectangular shape, adapted to the respective dimensions of the goods held therein.
  • the merchandise display card according to the invention has on one side one or two incisions, preferably running parallel to one another, which extend from the edge into the card interior and form a flap connected to the card on one side, which can be moved in a direction perpendicular to the card plane and away from the page edge. If there is only one cut, the tab is limited by the edge of the card. You can also have several of these side tabs on one side or on different sides. These tabs are intended to be inserted into a suitable opening of a product to be presented and to be clamped there. In this way, the card and the product are so firmly connected to one another that there is no risk of the product becoming detached from the card or being accidentally and unintentionally separated from the sales staff or customers.
  • the product presentation card according to the invention can have at least one further flap inside the card, which is connected on one side to the card and can be placed in a plane perpendicular to the card direction.
  • This tab has at least one recess or punching inside, which is intended to receive a part or projection of the product to be presented.
  • the card can also have one or more side tabs in combination with one or more central tabs.
  • the incisions in the card preferably run parallel to one another and in particular perpendicular to the card edge to form the lateral flap.
  • the edge of the side flap jumps back so far relative to the edge of the card that the product comes to lie completely on the card when held in place. In this way, an improved protection of the product against external influences is achieved.
  • the recess can be 1/4 to 1/2 of the depth of the incision.
  • the Incisions themselves can extend over 1/6 to 1/2 of the respective map depth.
  • the tab itself can take up to 2/3 of the respective card side.
  • An elongated rectangular shape of the card has proven to be particularly useful for the presentation of "Lampi" micro fluorescent lamps (registered trademark).
  • a side tab on a long side and a central tab for receiving the plug contacts provided on the side of the lamp.
  • the central tab is folded out parallel to the side tab vertically out of the card plane and has two punchings matched to the dimensions of the plug contacts.
  • the central tab is arranged symmetrically to an axis that divides the side tab evenly and runs perpendicular to the edge of the card.
  • the punched-out area for receiving the rod or bracket of the goods stand is preferably located in the edge region of a narrow side of the card, and it is expediently arranged such that it is on a perpendicular parallel to a longitudinal side through the center of gravity of the card when the product is inserted.
  • the card (1) according to the invention has a punched-out area (2) into which a hanger or a bar of a goods stand can be inserted.
  • This punching is located in the area of the upper narrow side (3) of the card (1) and is shifted somewhat from the center to the side edge (4) so that the punching is above the center of gravity of the card when the goods are clamped on.
  • This tab (8) has essentially an elongated hexagonal shape, the cross section of a standardized Electrical safety plug corresponds.
  • the punched holes (9 and 9 ') have a distance and a size that enable them to receive the plug contacts of such an electrical plug.
  • the flap (8) is punched out of the card (1), but remains connected to the card (1) on one long side (10) and is folded along this long side (10) into a position perpendicular to the plane of the card so that the punched out ( 9 and 9 ') are accessible from the side.
  • the long side (10) of the central tab (8) and the edge (7) of the side tab (6) run essentially parallel.
  • the side flap (6) and the central flap (8) are both arranged on an axis that runs perpendicularly from the long side (4) through the card and divides both flaps into equal halves.
  • Fig. 2 shows schematically a micro-fluorescent lamp of the "Lampi" brand, as can be used in the card according to Fig. 1.
  • the fluorescent lamp (11) has in its lamp body (12) a cover (13) of the luminous field made of plastic, which extends around the body with a U-shaped cross section.
  • the cover consists of a rigid, elastic plastic which is connected to the lamp body (12) via the inherent tension and laterally attached catches. When installing the lamp (11), the cover (13) is pushed onto the body (12) in the last step.
  • an electrical plug (14) with a standardized elongated hexagonal cross section and two plug contacts (15 and 15 ').
  • a lamp according to FIG. 2 is held over the side flap (6) and the central flap (8).
  • the lamp body (12) with its plug contacts (15 and 15 ') is inserted into the cutouts (9 and 9') of the central tab (8), so that the front of the plug on the tab (8) rests and with the body placed on the tab (6) before the cover (13) is pushed over the lamp field.
  • the cover (13) is then pushed onto the lamp body (12) in such a way that the tab (6) is held in a clamped manner in the gap shown at 16 between the lamp body (12) and cover (13).
  • Fig. 3 shows a perspective view of a card (1) according to the invention with a fluorescent lamp (11) clamped therein.
  • the card (1) has a punch (2) in its upper area for receiving the product carrier and the opening (8 ') in the central area, which is created when the flap (8) is folded out to the side (not shown).
  • the tab (8) is connected on one side at 10 to the card (1).
