Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multi-bolt door lock which has a mortise lock case provided with a key and handle actuation with a lock bolt which can be laterally extended therefrom by means of a key actuation, and furthermore has a spring rod drive rod which can be moved upwards out of the door leaf and which is retracted by actuating the push nut and to be locked in its retracted position by a switch latch, which is to be disengaged in the closed position of the leaf by hitting the fixed door frame and thereby releasing the espagnolette bolt for its extension movement.
  • a multi-bolt door lock of the above type is known as a special fire door lock from DE-B-1 062 143.
  • its lock bolt which can only be extended and retracted linearly by actuating the external key, it also has a lock latch which is mounted in the lock case and which, together with the additionally sprung ends of the upper drive bolt rod which act as rod latches, as well as a lower drive bolt rod which is still present, can be inserted by an external lever actuation, one of which three latches in their retracted position latch is arranged in the lock case and protrudes from the lock faceplate.
  • a disadvantage of the known three-latch locks is that the door closer must push in all three lock latches towards the end of the door closing movement, so that it must be designed for a correspondingly strong closing force, which, however, in turn prevents easy opening of the door leaf.
  • the known three-latch locks require both inside and outside actuation in order to be able to retract the three latch latches against their spring forces at all.
  • the fixed button preferred for reasons of increased security against burglary on the outside of the door wing, which is provided instead of an external key actuation, is not practicable with the known three-latch locks.
  • the invention has for its object to improve a multi-bolt door lock of the type mentioned in such a way that it has the widest possible, common extension and retraction stroke of the lock bolt and driving bolt rod while avoiding a special lock latch and yet with as little friction as possible deflection of the movement in the lock necessary deflection parts only requires key actuation from the outside. Furthermore, the switch latch which locks the latches in their retracted position should be arranged in such a way that it is difficult to access by hand and corresponding incorrect operations are avoided.
  • the multi-bolt door lock obtained in this way can also be used with particular advantage for double-leaf doors, where it is attached to the active leaf, which, thanks to its overlap, allows the passive leaf to be kept in the closed position, so that no special locking parts are required on the latter.
  • the lock bolt is designed as a one-armed swivel bolt, which is articulated on the one hand via a deflecting plate pivotally mounted in the lock case to the lower end of the drive rod bolt and, on the other hand, drive-connected via an angle lever with the latter, which rotatably supports the follower nut.
  • the relatively long-arm swivel bolt can be extended and overtaken with comparatively little effort, which also applies to the espagnolette bolt, which as a result easily get into their closed position solely under the influence of the spring engaging the espagnolette bolt, but just as easily from inside or out External actuation of the lock can be brought back.
  • the switch latch is advantageously designed as a switching sleeve surrounding the upper end of the espagnolette bolt and provided at the top with a beveled latch end, which is accommodated together with a clamping plate encompassing the connecting rod bolt and a clamping plate spring in a lock housing fastened to the upper edge of the door.
  • Such switching latch training is known per se from DE-GM 88 16 841.
  • the angle lever used to retract the lock bolt at the same time can also be used to prevent unauthorized pushing in of the pivot bolt from the outside, in that it has a correspondingly arranged stop bolt which interacts with a locking lug on the pivot bolt.
  • the angle lever In addition to a first driving arm which interacts with the swivel bolt, the angle lever also has a second driving arm which is in drive engagement with the upper end of a slide which is adjustable in the lock case in the opposite direction to the upper connecting rod lock and with which a further lower connecting rod lock and / or a mechanism for the direct activation of the external key the lock bolt is connected.
  • the latter can consist of a rack and pinion drive to be actuated by a lock cylinder with a two-arm reversing lever connecting the rack and the slide to the opposing driver, which, in the retracted position of the lock bolt, must be pivoted into a dead center position which relieves the actuating key. With this external key actuation, an external handle can be saved and replaced with a fixed door knob.
  • an external handle actuation of the lock can also be provided.
  • the handle follower is then divided and its outer follower is engaged with the angle lever engaging the swivel bolt disengageable coupling means connected to rotary driving.
  • These coupling means can be such that they enable the coupling of the angle lever to the outer nut both mechanically, namely by means of an external key, and electrically.
  • the new multi-bolt door lock can be installed in the opening edge 1 'of the door leaf 1, for example the active leaf of a two-leaf door. It essentially consists of the mortise lock case 2 to be installed in a normal, approximately middle door height, with the lock mechanism which can be extended laterally and into a corresponding lock opening 3 on the door frame or inactive leaf 4 of a double-leaf door engaging pivot bolt 5 and further from the upwardly out of the door leaf 1 connecting rod bolt 6, the bolt end 6 'in the extended position engages in a frame 7 of the door opening.
  • the engagement depths of both bars 5.6 are comparatively large. Both bolts 5, 6 are connected to one another in terms of drive in the manner to be described further below.
  • This also includes the lower drive rod lock 9, which is adjustable in opposite directions with respect to the upper drive rod lock 6 and which can move into a corresponding locking opening in the bottom of the door.
  • the comparatively long helical compression spring 10 which engages around the locking shaft 6 ′′, engages on the upper connecting rod bolt 6 and has a comparatively weakly rising spring identification.
  • This spring 10 endeavors to press the upper connecting rod latch 6 and together with it also the swivel latch 5 and the lower connecting rod latch 9 into the extended position. So that this does not happen when the door leaf 1 is open, a switch latch 11 is arranged on the upper edge of the leaf in the area of the connecting rod bolt 6.
  • the clamping plate not shown, has a clamping eye encompassing the connecting rod latch 6, with which it is able to clamp the connecting rod latch end 6 'in any latch-retracted position under the action of the clamping plate spring, but when the beveled latch end 11' strikes the upper door frame 7 by the switching sleeve pressed thereby is pivoted into the release position in which it releases the upper connecting rod latch 6 and thus also the latches 5 and 9 which are in drive connection with it for its extension movement.
  • the swivel bolt 5 is of the type shown in particular in FIGS. 3 and 4. It is designed as a long one-armed lever and has an approximately boot-like Profile with the comparatively long locking shaft 5 'mounted at its upper end on a bearing bolt 13 fastened on the lock case side and the extendable locking shoe 5''located at the lower end thereof.
  • the swivel bolt 5 is connected on the one hand via the deflection plate 15, which is pivotably mounted in the lock case at the point 14, to the lower end 6 '''of the drive rod bolt 6 and, on the other hand, via the angle lever 16 to the latter, which rotatably supports the follower nut 17.
  • the deflection plate 15 forms a substantially horizontally located one-armed connecting lever, the pivot bearing point 14 on the lock case side being located at a distance below the pivot bearing point 13 of the pivot bolt 5.
  • the driver pin 15 ' which is displaceable in the elongated hole 5''', sits on the deflection plate 15, while the deflection plate 15 is fork-shaped at its end 15 '' facing away from the pivot bearing point 14 and with the fork slot 15 ''''over the lower connecting rod locking end 6''''Existing driver pin 6 IV takes hold.
  • the lower end 6 '''of the espagnolette bolt 6 is also provided with a guide slot 6 V with which it engages around the guide sleeve 18 passing through the lock case 2.
  • the angle lever 16 is freely rotatably supported on the nut 17, which is under the action of the handle holding spring 19. It has a driver edge 16 'which interacts with the follower projection 17' and a first driver arm 16 '' which bears against a driver pin 20 arranged on the inside on the swivel bar shoe 5 ''.
  • a locking pin 21 is also provided on the driving arm 16 ′′ of the angle lever 16, which interacts with a locking lug 22 provided at the lower inner end of the swivel locking shoe 5 ′′.
  • the locking lug 22 is shaped in such a way that, in cooperation with the locking pin 21, it prevents the pivot bolt 5 from being pushed in from the outside, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 10.
  • the bevel on the locking lug 22, which engages over the locking bolt 21 in the locking position, ensures that the angle lever 16 is not pivoted further clockwise when the force acting on the swivel locking shoe 5 '' in the direction of arrow C, but is blocked against it.
  • a second driving arm 16 ''' which is in drive engagement with the upper end of a slide 23 which is adjustable in the lock case 2 in the opposite direction to the upper connecting rod bolt 6.
  • This slide 23 is guided vertically displaceably to a limited extent via the guide bolts 24 penetrating its guide slots 23 'and fastened on the lock case side.
  • a driver pin 25 which engages in the fork slot 16 IV on the angle lever 16 and thereby ensures the corresponding driving connection between these parts.
  • the lower connecting rod latch 9 can be fastened.
  • the slider 23 also has another essential function, since it ensures the direct actuation of the external key of the lock bolt.
  • the mechanism for this consists of a rack and pinion drive 26 to be actuated by the lock cylinder 25 and a two-armed reversing lever 28 which connects the rack 27 to the slide 23 in the opposite direction.
  • the rack 27 is in direct engagement with the lock cylinder core 25 'which is arranged concentrically with the lock cylinder core 25' and by its lock bit 25 ′′ to be rotated pinion 29.
  • This pinion 29 is partially encompassed by the crescent-shaped guide arch 30, which is able to hold the pinion 29 in its installed position even when the locking cylinder 25 is removed.
  • the guide bow 30 can be made of plastic and be supported on the forend screw 31 securing the built-in locking cylinder 25.
  • the deflection lever 28 is designed as a two-armed lever and can be pivoted about the pivot bearing pin 32 fastened on the lock case side.
  • the driver pin 27 'resting on the upper end of the rack 27 slides on it, while the shorter deflection lever arm is provided with two driver teeth 28', which cooperate or cooperate with two driver teeth 23 '' arranged on the slide 23 are connected in terms of drive.
  • the deflection lever 28 is designed such that in the retracted position of the lock bolt according to FIG. 6 it reaches a dead center position with respect to the driving bolt 27 'on the rack 27, in which the external actuating key 33 inserted in the locking cylinder 25 completely counteracts the force of the spring 10 is relieved.
  • the rack and pinion drive 26 and the bellcrank 28 and its transmission ratio result in particularly favorable power transmission ratios for the fetching of the lock bolts 5, 6 and 9 via the external operating key 33, so that only a comparatively small amount of adjustment force is required on the latter.
  • the new multi-bolt lock is also perfectly suitable for external lever actuation.
  • the follower nut can be divided according to FIGS. 13, 14, that is to say it has an inner follower nut 17i and an outer nut 17a separated therefrom by an intermediate disk 17z. While the inner follower 17i is to be coupled with the angular lever 16 movably mounted on the lever follower via the nut projection 17 'and the driving edge 16' on the angular lever, a coupling piece 35 is attached to the angular lever 16 on the latter for any coupling radially displaceable.
  • the coupling slide 40 shown in FIGS. 7 to 9 is used to actuate the coupling piece 35.
  • this is provided with an arcuate control edge 40 'which acts on the driver pin 35' present on the coupling piece 35 in the raised position of the coupling slide 40 and thereby can bring the coupling piece into the aforementioned coupling position according to FIG. 9.
  • the coupling slide 40 has a driving arm 40 '' with which it projects into the orbit of the locking bit 25 '' present on the locking cylinder 25, so that the slide 40 here in its raised position as shown in FIG .8 can be brought, in which he can bring the coupling piece 35 into coupling engagement with the driving lug 17a 'present on the outer follower nut 17a.
  • a retaining pawl 42 is mounted on the pivot bearing pin 41 fastened on the lock case side, which is under the action of the loop spring 43 which is looped around the pin 41 and has one end on the driving arm 40 '. 'of the clutch slide 40 and with its other end on the cuff-angled edge 42' of the retaining pawl.
  • An actuating button 44 accessible on the lock face is provided on the holding pawl 42. The actuating button 44 can be used to pivot the holding pawl 42 in the high position of the coupling slide 40 shown in FIG.
  • the clutch slide 40 can also be raised in another way, for example also electrically, to move the clutch piece 35 in its engagement position.
  • an externally actuable electromagnet 45 can be installed in the lock case 2, the pivotable armature 46 of which can engage the coupling slide 40, for example also its locking nose 40 ′′ ′′.
  • a small electric adjustment motor could also be installed, which can be actuated from the outside and is thereby able to shift the clutch slide 40 into its engagement position, which is raised in FIGS. 8 and 9.
  • the clutch slider 40 can be guided vertically in the lock case 2 via the guide slots 40 IV and the lock bolts fixed to it in the lock case as well as the slide 23. It is understood that the lower guide pin 24 also functions as the pivot pin 41 for the retaining pawl 42 can take over.
  • the latter is provided in the extendable region of its swivel bolt shoe 5 ′′ with locking surfaces 5 IV , which are inclined on both sides and which preferably consist of a suitable metal sheet lying on an intermediate plastic support body 5 v .
  • This not only reduces the friction when the swivel bolt shoe 5 ′′ extends from the striking plate 3 provided on the door frame or passive leaf, but it can also additionally achieve a better tightening of the door leaf against the seal surrounding it.
