Definitions
- Rolling in calibers is the most common form of rolling bars and wire.
- the most common work in the pre-season is with box or spit calibers.
- the disadvantage here is the poor utilization of the rollers, since the caliber shape requires a high degree of turning.
- an axial adjustment of the rollers is necessary because the caliber incisions of the top and bottom rollers have to match exactly, which is very difficult to achieve. Misalignment in the rolling stock is a frequent consequence of poorly adjusted calibers, as is overfilling or underfilling of the calibers.
- Aligning the inlet fittings to the caliber is very complex.
- a method is known in which work is carried out exclusively on smooth rollers.
- the selected calibration can only be used if the b / h ratio is less than 1.5.
- the design of the inlet and outlet fittings, which have to reach the middle of the roll, collide in the middle of the roll and the contour of which is precisely adapted to the roll radius, is very complex. This means that it is not possible to roll different cross-sections with one and the same pair of rollers or fittings.
- the inlet fitting has fluted inner sides that are adapted to the width of the rolling stock and that should be adjusted to the rolling stock with a play of 1 to 5 mm.
- the invention specified in claim 1 and 11 is based on the problem of simplifying the setting of the rollers and fittings and by means of defined dimensioning of the first shape caliber eliminating the influence of the sharp edges from the last flat stitch on the wear and also limiting the diagonal distortion of the rolling stock.
- the invention improves the guidance of the material, reduces the wear on the roll, minimizes the number and time for changing the roll, and increases the availability of the rolling train.
- the caliber sequence is shown in FIG. 1.
- the square cross-section Oa) or square cross-sections Ob) with the same area are used for piercing.
- the individual variants are illustrated using the example of eight roll passes.
- the first stitch is formed by a flat stitch 1 a or, if required by the rolling diagonals di / d 2 1.02, by a box caliber 1.
- di always represents the larger number of diagnoses.
- the rolling stock in the stands G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7 passes through the flat stitches 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a, and then enters the Swedish oval 8s in the stand G8.
- the outlet cross-section from the last flat stitch is 900 mm 2 ⁇ A ⁇ 15700 mm 2 depending on the application cross-section.
- the geometry for the Swedish oval 8s is shown in FIG. 2.
- gauges 2b, 4b, 6b and flat stitches 3a, 5a, 7a alternate slightly from scaffold G2, whereupon the Swedish oval 8s again runs as a transition to the shape calibres.
- a form caliber 7b or two slightly incised calibers 6b before the start of the form caliber sequence in order to reduce the risk of wear (depending on the number of flat stitches or material speed).
- a flat rolling sequence or the exchange of flat passes and slightly incised calibers can be ensured in advance.
- the use of one or two slightly incised calibres 6b, 7b in front of the Sweden oval 8s is only selected if the rest of the preceding skeletons are rolled without caliber.
- a further variant consists in that according to Geruest G1, provided with uncalibrated rollers for the flat stitch 1 or box caliber 1b, the flat stitches 2a and 3a follow.
- the framework G7 can also be provided with a slightly incised caliber 7b.
- An additional possibility is given if, after the flat stitches 1 and 2a, the slightly incised calibers 3b, 4b, followed by the flat stitches 5a, 6a, 7a and the slightly incised caliber 7b.
- the skeletons are identical to the sequences. It is characteristic that in the case of slightly incised calibres, the ratio of the rolling stock to double screw depth 2t is in the range 2 ⁇ h 1 / 2t 10.
- the geometrical relationships of the incoming rolling stock and the Swedish oval 8s can be seen in FIG. 2.
- the dimensioning is chosen in such a way that the wear occurring in the caliber is minimized as far as possible and a trouble-free rolling process is ensured.
- the distance z is calculated, which indicates the distance to the intersection of the straight line of the caliber flank and caliber base - b KG - the radius R begins.
- the caliber must be dimensioned so that the incoming dimension of the rolling stock, the rolling stock height ho, meets the requirement h 0 ⁇ b KG - 2z and the inlet fitting is positioned in such a way that the central inlet is guaranteed in any case, ie the rolling stock is not in the Radius R starts, which would result in increased wear. From the description it can be seen that, irrespective of the steel qualities to be rolled, after the first rolling stand has been passed, the rolling stock passes through the subsequent rolling stands in n 1 1 caliber-free passes, form passes in n 1 cut or shape calibres are connected and this is repeated as often as required.
- the inlet fitting 13, designed as a 4-roller fitting or double fitting, and the scraper 14 are shown. Seen in the rolling direction, the rolling stock is fed to the rollers 16, 16 'via an inlet funnel 6, an inlet-side roller pair 5, 5', a lateral guide surface with an integrated water box 2 and an roller-side roller pair 4, 4 '.
- the setting of the roller pairs 5, 5 'and 4, 4' to the rolling stock is selected such that bo ⁇ a ⁇ c, where bo is the incoming rolling stock dimension, a distance between the two rollers of the roller pair 4, 4 'to each other and c distance between the two rollers of the pair of rollers 5, 5 'to each other.
- Slots 3 are provided in the water box 2 for cooling the roller pairs 5, 5 'and 4, 4'.
- the inlet fitting 13 is provided with guide jaws 1, 1 'on the quest side, which accommodate the wear plates 7, 7'.
- the guide jaws 1, l end depending on the roll gap s w at a distance f from the center of the roll, where:
- the wear plates 7, 7 ' are at a distance d, where d> bi applies, bi is the rolling stock width that is running out.
- the guide jaws 1, 1 ' prevent the rolling stock from tilting or twisting with the wear jaws 7, 7'.
- the outer contour 17 of the guide jaws 1, 1 ' is not necessarily adapted to the rolling geometry and is at a distance of 3 to 40 mm from the rollers 16, 16'.
- the stripper 14 is arranged as a function of the roll gap s w at a distance f from the center of the roller, the same conditions as mentioned above apply.
- the outer contours 18 of the scraper 14 are at a distance of 3 to 5 mm from the roller surface.
- the inlet fitting 13 has openings 12 through which the scale is flushed out. Openings 15 are present in the stripper 14 between the upper, lower part and cheeks 8, 8 ′ in order to improve the cooling and to flush out the scale. In addition, slots 11 are arranged in the lower part through which scale and water can run off.
- the setting of the 4-roller valve is chosen so that the distance c of the inlet-side roller pair 5, 5 'is 0 to 5 mm larger than the distance a of the roller-side roller pair 4, 4', which in turn with the condition - 2 ⁇ s w ⁇ 3 mm for the incoming rolling stock dimension b.
- the roll angle of attack a is chosen for a continuous stack so that it complies with the condition in the rolling stand G1 14 der ⁇ ⁇ 30 ° and in the subsequent rolling stands G2 to G7 18 ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 40 °. With reversed duo and trio 14 ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ 30 ° applies. These values refer to new rollers.
- the ratio bo / ho is ⁇ 2.3.
Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1: die Kaliberfolgen
- Fig. 2: die Abmessungen vom 1. Formkaliber (Schwedenoval) zum einlaufenden Walzgut
- Fig. 3: die Einrichtung fuer das kaliberlose Walzen
- Fig. 4: einen Schnitt nach Fig. 3.
