Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Glastür für Brandschutzzwecke, insbesondere zur Verwendung innerhalb einer Brandschutzverglasung zur Vermeidung des Durchtritts von Feuer und Rauch im Brandfall von einem Raum in einen anderen, mit mindestens einer ein aufschäumendes Mittel als Schutzwirkstoff enthaltenden Brandschutzscheibe, die von einem verschwenkbaren Türrahmen gehalten wird, der im Bereich der senkrechten Stirnflächen der Brandschutzscheibe aus zwei miteinander verbundenen Hohlprofilen besteht, die nach außen hin keine brandschutztechnischen Maßnahmen aufweisen, und zwischen denen die Brandschutzscheibe in ihrem Randbereich gehalten wird, wobei im Bereich der Stoßfläche der Brandschutzscheibe eine schmale Fuge ausgebildet ist, die im Brandfall durch das aufschäumende Mittel der Brandschutzscheibe feuer- und rauchdicht verschlossen wird, und wobei sich infolge der Kühlwirkung des austretenden aufschäumenden Mittels der Wärmeübergang zwischen den miteinander verbundenen Hohlprofilen verringert.
  • Brandschutzverglasungen sind lichtdurchlässige Bauteile, die dazu bestimmt sind, entsprechend ihrer Feuerwiderstandsdauer nicht nur die Ausbreitung von Feuer und Rauch, sondern zusätzlich auch den unzulässigen Ubergang von Wärme zu verhindern.
  • Brandschutzverglasungen werden in verschiedene Feuerwiderstandsklassen eingeteilt, deren jeweilige Anforderungen in DIN 4102 erläutert sind.
  • Eine bekannte Brandschutzverglasung verfügt über Brandschutzscheiben, welche mehrlagig aus Glasscheiben mit einer jeweils dazwischen angeordneten Brandschutzschicht aufgebaut sind. Im Brandfall wird die Brandschutzschicht aktiviert. Sie absorbiert die Wärmestrahlung und bildet eine hochwirksame Dämmschicht. Aus der ursprünglich transparenten Verglasung entsteht dabei eine praktisch undurchsichtige Feuerschutzwand.
  • Da in den meisten Fällen Brandschutzverglasungen über mindestens eine Türöffnung verfügen müssen, sind Glastüren entwickelt worden, die hinsichtlich ihrer brandschutztechnischen Eigenschaften auf die Brandschutzverglasung als Ganzes abgestimmt sind.
  • Eine bekannte Glastür für Brandschutzzwecke verfügt über eine die eingelegte Brandschutzscheibe allseitig umschließende Stahlrahmenkonstruktion, die über Scharniere schwenkbar an einer Türzarge befestigt ist. Hierbei besteht die Stahlrahmenkonstruktion aus einem etwa 60mm breiten Stahlhohlprofil, an dessen Innenrand über Glashalteleisten die Brandschutzscheibe befestigt ist. Am Außenrand des Stahlhohlprofiles ist ein weiteres, allerdings schmaler gestaltetes Stahlhohlprofil befestigt, das mit einer Abwinklung versehen ist, welche bei geschlossener Glastür mittels einer dazwischenliegenden Dichtung an einem entsprechend gestalteten Stahlhohlprofil der Türzarge anliegt.
  • Nachteilig bei dieser bekannten Glastür ist, daß diese sehr aufwendig aufgebaut ist. Denn sowohl scharnierseitig als auch schloßseitig weist die Glastür bei Berücksichtigung der als Stahlrohre ausgebildeten Glashalteleisten insgesamt vier Stahlhohlprofile auf.
  • Nachteilig ist weiterhin, daß die Querschnitte der Stahlhohlprofile im Brandfall Wärmebrücken bilden, so daß hinsichtlich der brandschutztechnischen Eigenschaften im Rahmenbereich einer derartigen Glastür Abstriche gegenüber dem brandschutztechnischen Verhalten der übrigen Brandschutzverglasung bestehen. Innerhalb des Systems Brandschutzverglasung stellt daher eine Glastür immer das schwächste Bauteil dar.
  • Um diesem Problem abzuhelfen, verwendet eine weitere bekannte Glastür für Brandschutzzwecke eine zweiteilige Stahlrahmenkonstruktion, bei der der Raum zwischen den beiden Stahlrahmen durch eine Leiste aus nicht brennbarem bzw. schwer entflammbarem Material gefüllt ist. Auf diese Weise wird der Wärmedurchgang durch die Stahlrahmenkonstruktion deutlich vermindert. Nachteilig bei dieser bekannten Glastür ist jedoch, daß zur Gewährleistung der erforderlichen mechanischen Stabilität die beiderseits der Brandschutzscheibe sowie der Leiste befindlichen Rahmenhälften miteinander verschweißt oder verschraubt werden müssen.
  • Eine Brandschutztür mit den eingangs zusammengefaßten Merkmalen ist aus der DE-U 71 48 693 bekannt. Der Türrahmen dieser Glastür setzt sich aus zwei Hohlprofilen zusammen, von denen das eine Hohlprofil die für die Funktion der Glastür erforderlichen Beschlagteile aufnimmt. Demgegenüber dient das andere Hohlprofil zur Abdeckung und damit zum Schutz des die Beschlagteile aufnehmenden Hohlprofils im Brandfall. Das als Schutz dienende Hohlprofil ist hierzu mit brandschutztechnischen Maßnahmen versehen, die im Brandfall dieses Profil zur Türzarge hin abdichten. Ein zusätzlicher Schutz des die Beschlagteile aufnehmenden Profils wird dadurch erreicht, daß die flächig miteinander verbundenen Profile im Bereich ihrer Anlageflächen eine zusätzliche Wärmehemmschicht aufweisen. Ferner ist vorgesehen, daß die Brandschutzscheibe im Bereich ihrer Stoßfläche eine Fuge zum benachbarten Hohlprofil aufweist, welche Fuge im Brandfall durch ein aus der Brandschutzscheibe austretendes, aufschäumendes Mittel verschlossen wird. Nachteilig bei dieser Glastür ist, daß zur Erzielung eines ausreichenden Brandschutzes zusätzliche Isolationsmaßnahmen in Form der wärmehemmenden Schicht zwischen den flächig aneinanderliegenden Hohlprofilen erforderlich sind. Zudem ist diese Glastür nur zu einer Absicherung gegen einseitige Brandherde geeignet, während im Falle eines Brandherdes auf der anderen Seite der Glastüre wegen der Vielzahl von Wärmebrücken beträchtliche Sicherheitsprobleme zu erwarten sind.
  • Schließlich ist aus der DE-A 27 56 939 eine mehrlagig aufgebaute Feuerschutztür bekannt, die aus einem Kern aus wärmedämmendem Material besteht, welcher zu beiden Flachseiten durch wärmedämmende Platten abgedeckt ist. Diese Feuerschutztür ist im Bereich der Stirnflächen mit einem umlaufenden U-förmigen Profil aus Metall versehen, dessen Schenkel sich zwischen dem wärmedämmenden Material und den wärmedämmenden Platten befinden. Die Schenkel sind daher durch die wärmedämmenden Platten nach außen hin abgedeckt. Ferner ist im Bereich der Stirnfläche des so gebildeten Türblattes ein in Form eines Hutes mehrfach abgewinkeltes Blechprofil befestigt. Dieses Blechprofil dient dazu, das Türblatt als Ganzes zusammenzuhalten. Durch die Querschnittsform nach Art eines Hutes wird ferner erreicht, daß im Bereich der Zarge angeordnete Streifen bei Wärmeeinwirkung aufquellen und mit dem Blechprofil eine feste Verbindung eingehen. Auf diese Weise wird der zwischen Tür und Türzarge ausgebildete Türspalt verschlossen, und außerdem das Türblatt gegen eine Herausfallen gesichert.
  • Ausgehend von dem Stand der Technik gemäß DE-U 71 48 693 liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine einfach aufgebaute Glastür für Brandschutzzwecke zu schaffen, die im Brandfall unabhängig von der Seite, auf der sich der Brandherd befindet, die möglichen Wärmebrücken auf ein Mindestmaß reduziert, ohne daß hierzu zusätzliche Brandschutzmaßnahmen, wie etwa die Isolierung der tragenden Konstruktion, erforderlich sind.
  • Zur Lösung wird vorgeschlagen, daß die beiden Hohlprofile ausschließlich über ein Türprofil miteinander verbunden sind, welches als Flachprofil ausgebildet ist, an das die Stoßfläche der Brandschutzscheibe unter Bildung der Fuge ohne Isolierung angrenzt, und an welchem eine Abwinklung ausgebildet ist, die bei geschlossener Glastür den Türspalt zwischen Türprofil und einem gegenüberliegenden Zargenprofil nach außen hin abdeckt.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Tatsache zugrunde, daß auch ohne zusätzliche Isolationsmaßnahmen in Form von Streifen oder Leisten aus nicht brennbarem bzw. schwer entflammbarem Material im Brandfall ein Durchschlagen von Flammen und Rauch an den Stoßflächen der Brandschutzscheibe nicht eintritt. Bisher ist angenommen worden, daß die Stoßflächen der Brandschutzscheiben einen Schwachpunkt einer Brandschutzverglasung darstellen, da sie im Brandfall für die Flammen, Rauch und Wärme den leichtesten Weg darstellen, eine Brandschutzverglasung bzw. eine Glastür für Brandschutzzwecke zu durchdringen. In Versuchen hat sich jedoch herausgestellt, daß in den Fällen, in denen an den Stoßflächen der Brandschutzscheibe eine Restfuge verbleibt, bei großer Hitzeeinwirkung das zwischen den einzelnen Glasschichten befindliche Brandschutzmittel in Form eines Schaumes aus der stirnseitigen Stoßfläche der Brandschutzscheibe austritt und die Fuge dicht verschließt.
  • Dieser Fugenverschluß führt nicht nur dazu, daß Flammen und Rauch nicht mehr durch die Glastür hindurchschlagen können, sondern führt auch zu einer örtlichen Kühlung des der Stoßfläche unter Bildung der Fuge gegenüberliegenden Flachprofils. Da bei der erfindungsgemäßen Glastür das Flachprofil jedoch die einzige mögliche Wärmebrücke darstellt, führt dessen Kühlung durch den aus der Brandschutzscheibe austretenden Schaum zu einer für einen gewissen Zeitraum deutlichen Minderung des Wärmeübergangs am Rand der Glastür und damit zu verbesserten brandschutztechnischen Eigenschaften der Glastür. In diesem Zusammenhang soll unter "Flachprofil" nicht nur ein vollständig flaches, d.h. eben gestaltetes Profil verstanden werden, sondern ein Profil, daß, beispielsweise auch als Hohlprofil, so schmal gestaltet ist, daß im Brandfall der Kühleffekt durch den austretenden Schaum sicher eintritt.
  • Die vorbezeichneten Vorteile werden ohne zusätzliche Isolationsmaßnahmen in Form von innerhalb des Stahlrahmens eingesetzten Leisten oder Streifen aus nicht brennbarem oder schwer entflammbarem Material erreicht. Auch eine Außenisolierung der Profile ist nicht erforderlich, da im Gegensatz zum Stand der Technik keine großflächigen Stahlhohlprofile verwendet werden, sondern Flachprofile, welche der Hitze nur eine geringe Angriffs- und damit Wärmeübertragungsfläche bieten.
  • Die Glastür, welche ein- oder zweiflügelig ausgebildet sein kann, erfährt dadurch eine Weiterbildung, daß auch das Zargenprofil als Flachprofil ausgebildet ist, an das die Stoßfläche einer weiteren Brandschutzscheibe unter Bildung einer entsprechenden Fuge angrenzt. Dadurch wird der Vorteil einer deutlichen Minderung der wirksamen Wärmebrücken nicht nur im Bereich des Rahmens, sondern auch der Türzarge der Glastür erreicht.
  • Gemäß einer Weiterbildung der Glastür ist die Abwinklung des Türprofils mit dem Scharnier der Glastür verbunden. Auf diese Weise ist das Scharnier an jenem Bauteil ausgebildet, welches auch im übrigen eine besondere Anpassung erfordert, beispielsweise im Hinblick auf Türdichtungen und andere Beschlagteile.
  • Dadurch lassen sich die Fugenabdeckungen frei von Beschlagteilen halten, wodurch diese einheitlich gestaltet werden können, was wiederum dem optischen Erscheinungsbild der Glastür zugute kommt.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer erfindungsgemäßen Glastür für Brandschutzzwecke wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung beschrieben. Die Zeichnung zeigt in verkürzter Darstellung eine Glastür als Teil einer Brandschutzverglasung.
  • Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Glastür 1 ist Bestandteil einer Brandschutzverglasung, von der in der Zeichnung zwei Brandschutzscheiben 2a dargestellt sind. Die Flachseiten der Brandschutzscheiben 2a sind im Bereich ihres Randes mit Hohlprofilen 3 versehen, welche den Außenrahmen der jeweiligen Brandschutzscheiben 2a bilden. In den Spalten zwischen den Rändern der Brandschutzscheiben 2a und den Innenflächen der Hohlprofile 3 befinden sich jeweils Elastozellbänder 4, wobei diese Spalte in Richtung auf die Scheibenmitte zusätzlich mit einer Dichtungsmasse 5 aus Silikon-Kautschuk abgedichtet sind.
  • Die über ein Scharnier 6 schwenkbar an der Brandschutzverglasung gelagerte Glastür 1 besteht ebenfalls aus einer Brandschutzscheibe 2b, die in der bereits beschriebenen Weise an ihren Rändern durch einen Türrahmen 7 gehalten ist, der sich aus den Hohlprofilen 3 und einem Türprofil 8 an der Stirnseite der Brandschutzscheibe 2b zusammensetzt. An den der Scharnierseite gegenüberliegenden Hohlprofilen 3 ist jeweils eine Türklinke 8a zur Betätigung eines nicht dargestellten Verriegelungsmechanismus angebracht.
  • Die Brandschutzscheiben 2a, 2b bestehen aus einem Spezialverbundglas, welches aus mehreren Glasscheiben mit dazwischen angeordneten Brandschutzschichten besteht. Im Brandfall werden diese Brandschutzschichten aktiviert, wobei sie Wärmestrahlung absorbieren und so eine wirksame Dämmschicht bilden, welche den Durchgang von Feuer und Rauch verhindert. Dabei führt die Aktivierung der Brandschutzschichten im Brandfall dazu, daß diese aufschäumen und eine Trübung annehmen, so daß praktisch eine undurchsichtige Feuerschutzwand entsteht.
  • Zur Halterung der Glastür 1 innerhalb der Brandschutzverglasung ist die Glastür 1 an ihren senkrechten Kanten jeweils mit dem Türprofil 8 versehen, welches an den Stirnseiten der Hohlprofile 3 der Glastür 1 befestigt ist und gemeinsam mit den entsprechenden beiden Hohlprofilen 3 den Türrahmen 7 der Glastür bildet. Die Türprofile 8 liegen bei geschlossener Glastür 1 über Dichtungen 9 an ebenfalls flachen Zargenprofilen 10 an, die an entsprechenden Stirnflächen der Hohlprofile 3 der Brandschutzverglasung befestigt sind. Die Türprofile 8 des Türrahmens 7 sowie die Zargenprofile 10 sind zwar als Flachprofile ausgebildet; dies schließt jedoch nicht aus, daß beide Profile über Abwinklungen 11, 12 verfügen, wobei die Abwinklungen 11 zur dichtenden Anlage der Glastür 1 in geschlossenen Zustand dienen, während die Abwinklung 12 die Verbindung zwischen einem der Türprofile 8 und dem als Zapfenband ausgebildeten Scharnier 6 herstellt.
  • In der Zeichnung ist dargestellt, daß zwischen den den jeweiligen Brandschutzscheiben 2a, 2b zugewandten Flächen der Türprofile 8 bzw. der Zargenprofile 10 und den benachbarten Stoßflächen 13a bzw. 13b der Brandschutzscheiben 2a bzw. 2b eine Fuge 14 mit einer Fugenbreite f von höchstens 6mm verbleibt. Beim Ausführungsbeispiel beträgt die Fugenbreite f der Fuge 14 weniger als 4mm. Hierzu sind die flachen Zargenprofile 10 sowie Türprofile 8 im Bereich der Stoßflächen 13a bzw. 13b leicht in Richtung zur jeweiligen Scheibe hin eingesenkt.
  • Im Brandfall wird infolge der Erhitzung der Brandschutzscheiben 2a, 2b die darin befindliche Brandschutzschicht aufgeschäumt, wobei Material dieses Schaumes aus den Stoßflächen 13a, 13b der Brandschutzscheiben 2a, 2b austritt und die Fugen 14 verschließt, so daß Flammen und Rauch nicht mehr durch die Fugen 14 hindurchgelangen können. Darüber hinaus bewirkt der aus den Stoßflächen 13a, 13b austretende Schaum eine Kühlung des anliegenden Zargenprofils 10 bzw. Türprofils 8, so daß der Ubergang von Wärme über die Zargenprofile 10 bzw. Türprofile 8 erschwert wird. Durch die beschriebene Wirkungsweise der Brandschutzscheiben 2a, 2b wird also nicht nur der Übergang von Flammen und Rauch durch die Fugen 14 verhindert, sondern zusätzlich die konstruktionsbedingte Wirkung der Zargenprofile 10 und Türprofile 8 als Wärmebrücken auf ein Mindestmaß reduziert. Dieser Vorteil einer Kühlung der Zargenprofile 10 bzw. Türprofile 8 wird dadurch erreicht, daß diese Profile hinreichend flach ausgebildet sind, so daß die Kühlwirkung des aus den Stoßflächen 13a, 13b austretenden Schaumes den gesamten, als potentielle Wärmebrücke in Betracht kommenden Querschnitt der Zargenprofile 10 und Türprofile 8 erfaßt. In der Einsenkung des Zargenprofils 10 ist ein Streifen 15 aus im Brandfall aufschäumenden Material befestigt. Hierdurch wird im Brandfall der Zwischenraum zwischen Türprofil 8 und Zargenprofil 10 verschlossen.
  • Da die optische Gliederung der Glastür 1 in den die Brandschutzscheibe 2b aufweisenden Glasteil sowie den mit den Hohlprofilen 3 belegten Randteil mit der entsprechenden Gliederung der übrigen Flächen der Brandschutzverglasung übereinstimmt, ergibt sich insgesamt ein einheitlicher optischer Eindruck der Brandschutzverglasung. Insbesondere erweckt die Glastür 1 infolge der schmalen Türprofile 8 und Zargenprofile 10 den Eindruck von Leichtigkeit und hebt sich damit deutlich von den bekannten, in der Regel über voluminöse Rahmenkonstruktionen verfügenden Glastüren ab.

Claims (4)

  1. Glastür für Brandschutzzwecke, insbesondere zur Verwendung innerhalb einer Brandschutzverglasung zur Vermeidung des Durchtritts von Feuer und Rauch im Brandfall von einem Raum in einen anderen, mit mindestens einer ein aufschäumendes Mittel als Schutzwirkstoff enthaltenden Brandschutzscheibe, die von einem verschwenkbaren Türrahmen gehalten wird, der im Bereich der senkrechten Stirnflächen der Brandschutzscheibe aus zwei miteinander verbundenen Hohlprofilen besteht, die nach außen hin keine brandschutztechnischen Maßnahmen aufweisen, und zwischen denen die Brandschutzscheibe in ihrem Randbereich gehalten wird, wobei im Bereich der Stoßfläche der Brandschutzscheibe eine schmale Fuge ausgebildet ist, die im Brandfall durch das aufschäumende Mittel der Brandschutzscheibe feuer- und rauchdicht verschlossen wird, und wobei sich infolge der Kühlwirkung des austretenden aufschäumenden Mittels der Wärmeübergang zwischen den miteinander verbundenen Hohlprofilen verringert,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die beiden Hohlprofile (3) ausschließlich über ein Türprofil (8) miteinander verbunden sind, welches als Flachprofil ausgebildet ist, an das die Stoßfläche (13b) der Brandschutzscheibe (2b) unter Bildung der Fuge (14) ohne Isolierung angrenzt, und an welchem eine Abwinklung (12) ausgebildet ist, die bei geschlossener Glastür den Türspalt zwischen Türprofil (8) und einem gegenüberliegenden Zargenprofil (10) nach außen hin abdeckt.
  2. Glastür nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auch das Zargenprofil (10) als Flachprofil ausgebildet ist, an das die Stoßfläche (13a) einer weiteren Brandschutzscheibe (2a) unter Bildung einer schmalen Fuge (14) ohne Isolierung angrenzt und das die Fuge (14) im Brandfall durch das aufschäumende Mittel der weiteren Brandschutzscheibe (2a) feuer- und rauchdicht und unter gleichzeitiger Kühlung des angrenzenden Teil des Zargenprofils (10) verschlossen bleibt.
  3. Glastür nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fugenbreite (f) kleiner 6mm, vorzugsweise kleiner 4mm beträgt.
  4. Glastür nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abwinklung (12) des Türprofils (8) mit dem Scharnier (6) der Glastür verbunden ist.
