Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an annularly connectable jewelry carrier according to the preamble of claim 1 and a jewelry chain according to claim 9.
  • Such jewelry chains have the disadvantage that the jewelry bodies once lined up can no longer be detached from the chain, i.e. the chain retains its original appearance throughout its life.
  • the object of the present invention is now to create a ring-shaped connectable jewelry carrier on which jewelry bodies can be lined up in any order and later removed again or replaced by another or in another combination.
  • the jewelry bodies By arranging all the elements of the lock at one end of the jewelry carrier, the jewelry bodies can be pushed onto the free, open second end of the jewelry carrier and removed from it again without tools.
  • the open end, thickened by no closure elements is inserted or inserted into the closure at the other end and held by it.
  • the lined-up jewelry bodies can no longer slide off the jewelry carrier and, since the hole in the jewelry bodies is only a fraction of a millimeter larger than the diameter of the jewelry carrier, is held at the desired location.
  • the wearer of the jewelry can change the quantity of the individual jewelry bodies, their color, size and arrangement on the jewelry carrier at any time.
  • Jewelery bodies with new colors, shapes or materials can be bought in later and mixed with the existing ones, adapted to the jewelry wearer according to the current fashion trend.
  • the production of the jewelry carrier is simple and inexpensive, since only one of the two ends of the wire section separated from a roll is inserted into the lock and is used with this, e.g. must be connected by gluing. After the sections have been cut to size, the second end remains unprocessed and, if the clamping bore on the lock is continuous, it can be more or less firmly inserted into the lock or through the lock at any point and thus the diameter of the ring at any time be adjusted.
  • jewelry bodies with a diameter of a few millimeters and with bores can also be drawn on, which are common with wound jewelry.
  • jewelry bodies can be used, such as are available on the market for threading.
  • the jewelry carrier 1 shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of a body having a circular cross section, for example of an elastically flexible wire 3 wound or coiled on a core 4 made of metal or plastic and a lock or closure 7 fastened, for example glued in, at the end 5.
  • the helically wound wire 3 is preferably glued to the core 4 or at least frictionally connected to the latter in such a way that the helical wire 3 cannot be axially displaced on the core.
  • a jewelry carrier 1 made of solid or beaten wire or made of plastic or from a gut string can also be used.
  • the lock 7 has a part 9 which can be connected to the first end 5 and a sleeve 11 which is axially displaceable on the part 9.
  • an axially extending bore can be made in the part 9.
  • Radially movable clamping means for example balls, clamping jaws, etc. are used in the sleeve 11 and are pressed towards the axis of the sleeve 11 when the sleeve 11 is moved in the direction of the part 9.
  • a spring is inserted, which the sleeve 9 always in the direction pushes towards part 9.
  • other clamping means can also be used in the sleeve, which firmly hold the open wire end inserted into the sleeve 11 and the part 9.
  • closure 7 is not the subject of the invention and is therefore only shown in terms of function using the embodiment according to FIG. 3.
  • a commercially available tie pin holder can be used as a closure.
  • the end 13 is pushed axially into the sleeve 11. This process is supported and simplified if the closure 7 is only held on the sleeve 11.
  • the balls or clamping jaws are pushed radially outwards.
  • the end 13 can be pushed completely into the sleeve 11.
  • the spring (not shown) arranged in the interior of the sleeve 11, the balls or clamping jaws are pressed radially from the outside onto the jewelry carrier 1 and hold it immovably within the sleeve 11. If you pull apart at the ends 5, 13, the clamping force in the closure 7 increases.
  • the end 13 of the jewelry carrier 1 is released by moving the sleeve 11 with respect to the part 9 in the direction of arrow A. Now the jewelry body 15, 17, which are mounted with a bore 19 of, for example, 0.9 mm diameter D on the jewelry carrier 1 in any order and number. Then the end 13 is reinserted into the sleeve 11 of the lock 7 and thus the jewelry holder 1 is securely closed in a ring. By reopening the lock 7 and thus exposing the end 13, the jewelry body 15, 17 can be replaced at any time.
  • the individual jewelry bodies 15, 17 become curved after the ring is closed , Within the jewelry body lying sections of the jewelry carrier held clamped at the respective point. Of course, they can be moved as desired while overcoming the friction of the curved section of the jewelry carrier 1.
  • the diameter of the ring-shaped jewelry carrier 1 can be reduced at any time.
  • FIG. 3 shows a further embodiment of the invention, in which the open end 13 of the jewelry wearer is passed through the closure 17 and the length or diameter of the jewelry wearer can be determined and changed by the jewelry wearer at any time.
  • the closure 107 consists of the sleeve 111 and the part 109 which is displaceable in the sleeve 111.
  • the sleeve 111 has a bore 114 with a conical section 115. In the area of the conical section 115, e.g. three balls 117 loosely inserted.
  • a hollow cylindrical section 119 is attached to part 109 and engages in bore 114.
  • a coil spring 121 it can also be a plate spring assembly, pushes the part 109 in the direction of the arrow B and presses the balls 117 against one another due to the taper of the section 115.
  • the spring 121 is clamped between a circumferential flange 123 on the cylindrical part 119 and on a shoulder 125 forming the end of the sleeve 111.
  • a blind hole 127 is made, in which the end 105 of the jewelry carrier 101 can be glued or otherwise fastened. Because the end 105 is not coaxial as in the embodiment of the invention according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in FIG Part 109 is glued, the open end 113 can be pushed through the entire closure 107 and thus the length of the jewelry carrier is adjustable.
  • the two parts 109 and 111 are pulled apart, i.e. the spring 121 is compressed so that the balls 117 lie loosely in the bore 114 and the loose end 113 of the jewelry carrier 101 can thereby be passed between the balls and through the bore 129 in the part 109.
  • the spring 121 pulls the sleeve 111 against the part 109 and thus presses the balls 117 against the jewelry carrier 101 lying in the bore 114 and clamps the latter.
  • differently designed clamping means can also be provided in the closure.
