Definitions
- the invention relates to a stabilizing shoe according to the preamble of claim 1.
- stabilizing rails adapted to the foot or lower leg in the region of the ankle are integrated into the shaft.
- This shoe fulfills the stabilizing function satisfactorily.
- a disadvantage is that the wearer has to keep the stabilizing shoe in bed at night, which is unsanitary.
- the only solution is that the wearer has to put on a splint after taking off the shoe, which is annoying on the one hand, and on the other hand harbors the risk that it will not be done properly.
- Knuckle splints are also known, which are put on by means of belts and serve to stabilize the ankle. These rails have the disadvantage that they do not or only poorly fit into commercially available footwear. In addition, an outer or inner edge elevation bothers.
- a therapy shoe tur spastic which consists of a shoe with laces, a calf splint with a removable closure and an arthrodesis heel basket.
- Shoe and calf splint form a unit, so that the wearer of this shoe must also keep it in bed at night or must put on a separate splint after removing the shoe. This brings with it the disadvantages already discussed at the beginning.
- the invention has for its object to provide a stabilizing shoe of the generic type that can be removed at night without the immobilization of the leg area is lifted.
- the stabilizing shoe is equipped with a rail which is integrated into the rail on the one hand in terms of shape and on the other hand independent of the shoe, by means of which the leg area to be immobilized, in particular the ankle, is immobilized.
- the splint is put on and then the wearer can put the shoe on or take it off again.
- the splint itself is fixed in the shoe, so that the splint with the splint gives the foot and the leg area that needs to be immobilized.
- the rail can also be provided with a base plate according to claim 2, whereby the foot itself sits even more firmly in the rail.
- the rail is also more firmly and precisely fixed than the shoe.
- the rail can also have two side parts and a base plate, so that the foot and the leg area to be immobilized are held particularly firmly.
- the ankle can be immobilized.
- the rails can also be designed to immobilize or relieve tendons, for example the Achilles tendon, the lower leg, the knee joint, the thigh or the hip joint.
- Adhesive tapes can be attached to the rail itself, by means of which the rail itself can be fixed in the leg area. In this respect, no separate tensioning straps are required to connect the splint to the foot or lower leg in the leg area that is to be immobilized. According to claim 6, such adhesive tapes can be provided in the region of the base plate in order to firmly but releasably connect the rail to the shoe.
- such adhesive tapes can be designed as Velcro, which on the one hand hold very firmly on shear, but on the other hand can be opened and closed relatively easily. They also counteract the formation of pressure points because they have a cushioning effect.
- the recesses of the shoe for receiving the rail can be partially or entirely filled with a shape-adjusted placeholder according to claim 8 when the rail is no longer needed.
- the shoe shown in the drawing has a sole 1 and a shaft 2.
- the shaft 2 is provided with a shaft section 3 which is drawn far forward so that it can be opened widely.
- the shaft cut 3 is with eyelets 4 or the like. provided so that it can be tied.
- the opening 6 is formed for the wearer's leg.
- the rail 11 has two side parts 12, 13, which are provided in their lower region to be arranged in the shoe with outwardly projecting webs 14 which engage in corresponding grooves 15 in the recesses 9, 10.
- the grooves 15 and the webs 14 run approximately parallel to one another in order to enable insertion and removal.
- a sole recess 16 is formed, the contour of which is adapted to a base plate 17 of the rail 11, which thus integrally connects the two side parts 12, 13 to one another.
- the top 18 of the So bottom plate 17 goes, as shown in FIG. 1, flush into the footbed 19 of the sole 1.
- adhesive tapes 20, 21 can be provided on the base plate 17, which serve to fix the rail 11 to the footbed 19. They are firmly attached to the upper side 18 of the base plate 17 and are placed on the footbed 19 when the shoe is put on in front of and behind the base plate, where they stick easily. They also bridge the gap between footbed 19 and base plate 17, so that pressure points are avoided.
- the free flaps or areas of the respective adhesive tape 20 and 21 are folded over and placed on the underside of the base plate 17 so that they are fixed. Furthermore, as can be seen from FIG.
- adhesive tapes 22, 23, 24, 25 can be provided in the rear and in the front transition area between the side parts 12, 13 of the rail 11 and the shaft, in order to provide a firm but easily detachable connection between the rail 11 and bring about the ankle and lower leg of the wearer.
- the adhesive tapes 22 to 25, which can be so-called Velcro tapes, also reduce the risk of pressure points at the transition between rail 11 and shaft 2.
- the rail 11 can therefore be put on very easily and quickly.
- the Velcro strips 22 to 25 are not attached directly to the foot, but again to the rail 11 itself.
- so-called cushions 28 are attached in the upper region of the rail 11, on which the ends of the Velcro strips can be detached are attached after they have been wound around the lower leg of the carrier for fixing the rail 11.
- the rail 11 is firmly connected to the lower leg of the carrier above the shaft 2 in the usual manner by means of belts.
- the splint remains on the wearer's foot or leg.
- the shoe is put on or, especially at night, taken off.
- a placeholder 26 which is only indicated, is inserted into the lateral recesses 9, 10 and the sole recess 16.
- Such a placeholder 26 has the profile of the base plate 17 and the two side parts 12, 13 insofar as the latter are inserted into the shaft 2.
- the stabilizing shoe can then be removed without leaving a splint on the foot or lower leg of the wearer.
- an outer or inner edge elevation 27 for pro- or supination is not attached to the rail 11 but to the sole 1 of the shoe, since an outer or inner edge elevation attached to the rail 11 according to the prior art in standard footwear. If it is no longer necessary to carry the rail 11 and it is therefore replaced by the placeholder 26, it is important that the outer or inner edge elevation 27 remains on the shoe as long-term protection. This saves having to additionally provide an outer or inner edge increase on the patient's commercially available shoes.
