Abstract
Description
- La présente invention concerne un élément de connexion électrique à braser sur une couche conductrice disposée sur un vitrage, en particulier un vitrage automobile chauffant électriquement, constitué d'un segment de tresse métallique flexible, d'une fiche montée sur l'une des extrémités de la tresse et d'une pièce de connexion à braser montée sur son autre extrémité.
- Des éléments de connexion électrique pourvus d'une pièce de connexion à braser et d'une languette d'enfichage s'utilisent en grand nombre dans des lunettes arrières chauffant pour automobiles, dans lesquelles les résistances chauffantes sont appliquées par impression sérigraphique sur la surface du vitrage, sous la forme d'une pâte à cuire apte à l'impression, puis sont cuites à la température de bombage ou de trempe des vitrages. Lors de l'impression des conducteurs chauffants des lignes omnibus sont imprimées en même temps et les éléments de connexion électrique sont brasés sur ces lignes omnibus après la cuisson.
- Un élément de connexion électrique du type spécifié comportant un segment de tresse métallique flexible est connu d'après le document EP 0 374 648. Dans le cas de cet élément de connexion électrique connu, la pièce de connexion à braser est formée de deux talons de tresse qui sont coudés à partir du segment de tresse métallique comme les bras d'un T. Les talons de tresse ont chacun une longueur d'environ 8 mm et sont de manière préliminaire garnis de brasure.
- Ces éléments de connexion électrique connus ne se prêtent pas facilement à des opérations de manipulation et de brasage automatiques. En particulier, le positionnement entièrement automatique de tels éléments de connexion électrique sur le vitrage, à l'aide d'un automate de brasage, tel que décrit, par exemple, dans le document DE-PS 23 49 329, suscite des difficultés. En raison, notamment, des tolérances de forme et de dimensions inévitables des pièces de connexion à braser constituées des talons de tresse, les éléments de connexion électrique ne peuvent pas être empilés dans les magasins de la machine à braser ni être posés automatiquement sur le vitrage, de la manière connue, à l'aide d'un dispositif à ventouse agissant sur les pièces de connexion à braser.
- L'invention a pour but de préparer un élément de connexion électrique du type spécifié, à segment de tresse flexible, d'une manière telle qu'il puisse être traité dans un automate de brasage automatique.
- Suivant l'invention, ce but est réalisé par le fait que la pièce de connexion à braser est une pièce de tôle rigide reliée au segment de tresse métallique flexible.
- Des pièces de connexion à braser en tôle rigide peuvent être fabriquées avec une précision élevée, en des dimensions constantes. Etant donné qu'il s'agit de pièces rigides de forme constante, dont la forme ne se modifie pas non plus lorsque le segment de tresse est soudé à cette pièce de tôle, les éléments de connexion électrique conformes à l'invention peuvent être positionnés et brasés sans problème sur les vitrages, à l'aide d'automates de brasage. Etant donné qu'en outre, les pièces de connexion à braser présentent, dans ce cas, des surfaces à braser planes définies, l'écoulement de l'étain de brasure lors de l'opération de brasage est limité à une surface constante, de sorte que les brasures peuvent s'effectuer sans difficultés, même sur des barres omnibus relativement étroites.
- Une forme d'exécution préférée de l'élément de connexion électrique conforme à l'invention est illustrée en perspective dans le dessin annexé.
- Le segment de tresse métallique flexible 1 est constitué par exemple d'un ruban de cuivre tissé de section transversale rectangulaire, d'une largeur d'environ 6 mm et d'une épaisseur d'environ 0,8 mm. A l'extrémité 3 du segment de tresse métallique 1 est soudée une languette d'enfichage plate 2 sur laquelle, lors de la connexion au réseau électrique, est glissé un connecteur pour fiche plate correspondant. La zone d'extrémité 4 du segment de tresse métallique 1 est connectée à une pièce de tôle rigide 5, par exemple par soudage aux ultrasons. La pièce de tôle 5 forme le talon à braser. Il peut s'agir dans ce cas d'un segment de tôle plat, dont la largeur et la longueur sont adaptées aux exigences rencontrées. Par exemple, il peut avoir une largeur B d'environ 4 mm et une longueur L d'environ 20 à 25 mm. Il est constitué, de préférence, de tôle de cuivre de 0,8 mm d'épaisseur et peut, comme la fiche plate 2, être argenté. Dans le cas représenté, la partie médiane 6 de la pièce de tôle 5 est coudée et forme une section de liaison en forme de pont entre les deux sections 7 du talon à braser, qui sont brasées par leur face inférieure sur la couche conductrice prévue sur le verre. La partie médiane coudée 6 de la pièce de tôle 5 forme, d'une manière connue, un pont déformable qui réduit les contraintes thermiques résultant de la dilatation thermique différente du verre et de la pièce de tôle brasée. Sur le segment de tresse métallique 1, à l'exception de la partie d'extrémité 4 et de la fiche proprement dite de la languette d'enfichage 2, est appliquée, par rétraction, une gaine isolante 8 en une matière plastique adéquate.
