Abstract

Le dispositif comprend deux leviers (80, 81) qui tournent autour d'axes rigides (86, 87). Un troisième axe rigide (85) porte un rouleau d'introduction (21.2). Si la distance d'écartement est plus grande, la goupille (95) vient frapper contre le bord de la fente et presse l'autre levier (81) dans la direction de la position de déflection représentée par une ligne discontinue. La machine à affranchir est actionnée par une fourche de déclenchement (22) montée de façon à pouvoir tourner dans un trou allongé (99) de l'autre levier (81). Le pivotement de ce levier (81) entraîne une modification du moment de déclenchement, par conséquent l'impression du timbre d'affranchissement se fait sur les enveloppes épaisses plus tard que sur les enveloppes minces. Cela améliore la qualité de l'impression.
