  • the present invention aims to eliminate the disadvantages of the current working system and to create a laying train capable of handling not only the new sleepers, but also the new rails, for example 36 m in length, which allows install sleepers and rails in a single continuous operation.
  • the laying train according to the invention is characterized in that the devices for laying the sleepers and laying the rails are installed on a laying wagon arranged between said transport wagon and a rail handling wagon. , that the laying wagon and the handling wagon are fitted with tracked bogies and articulated with each other and with the transport wagon, that the said three wagons are provided with upper tracks arranged to bring the new rails towards the head of the train , where the handling wagon is located, that the laying and handling wagons are furthermore equipped with lower raceways arranged to bring the new rails to the rail laying device to place them on the sleepers below the wagon. installation, and that the handling wagon is further provided with facilities for lowering the rails from the upper raceways to the lower raceways.
  • the equipment of this laying train allows the sleepers and rails to be brought onto storage wagons and that the rails, stored on at least one wagon which is directly coupled to the transport wagon, are routed, one after the other. 'other, along the work wagons, therefore transport, laying and handling wagons, at the laying place while the sleepers are laid below the train.
  • the train provided with at least one gantry for the transfer of the sleepers and movable on storage wagons arranged behind the transport wagon, on it and on the wagon , is characterized in that the upper raceways located on the transport wagon and on the laying wagon comprise horizontal guide rollers and vertical guide rollers, partially motorized, arranged to center the two rails on the wagon transport in an area where the gantry must move freely, and to separate the two rails after this area on the laying wagon so as to allow the descent of the sleepers to be laid.
  • the handling wagon To reduce the length of the train when it travels to the site, it is advantageous for the handling wagon to be fitted with a movable beam slidably mounted in the longitudinal direction on the chassis of this wagon, between a transport position. retracted and a working position deployed forward, said beam being provided with the raceways and the facilities necessary to descend the rails from the upper raceways to the lower raceways.
