Abstract

Le dispositif de transfert décrit, qui est équipé de roues de support (4) sert à déplacer sur une base (2) un avion (1) ou un autre engin équipé de deux roues (6). Le dispositif de transfert comprend au moins un cylindre de friction dit à auto-blocage (3), qui saisit les roues (6) du dispositif à déplacer au-dessous de leurs essieux, ainsi que deux roues de support assurant un entraînement sensiblement à la même vitesse périphérique dans le sens opposé. Dans ledit dispositif de transfert, les deux roues de support (4) pour l'entraînement sont placées à proximité de la ligne médiane du cylindre de friction (3). Le dispositif de transfert de la présente invention comporte une section de poussée (12) pourvue de ses propres roues, de sa source motrice et de ses dispositifs d'entraînement et de direction, les cylindres de friction et les roues de support pour l'entraînement étant placés dans une unité de transfert (9), qui est reliée à la section de poussée (12) au moyen d'une flèche (11), laquelle est reliée à l'unité de transfert (9) par une articulation verticale (10) et à l'unité de poussée (11) par une articulation horizontale (13).
