Definitions

  • the present invention aims in such a shoe, described for example in FR-A-2,547,175, to facilitate the tightening of the foot in the shell.
  • this ski boot is characterized in that it also comprises a rigid fork, also in the shape of a U, conforming to the shape of the rigid arch, the two branches of which are articulated at their ends on the branches of the rigid arch, and the ends of which each have a cam, intended to come to bear on a ramp provided for this purpose, so, by leveraging, to multiply the tilting force of the arch, so to facilitate the tightening of the foot in the shell.
  • a rigid fork also in the shape of a U, conforming to the shape of the rigid arch, the two branches of which are articulated at their ends on the branches of the rigid arch, and the ends of which each have a cam, intended to come to bear on a ramp provided for this purpose, so, by leveraging, to multiply the tilting force of the arch, so to facilitate the tightening of the foot in the shell.
  • Figure 1 is a side view of a ski boot with rear entry, according to the invention, in the position of use.
  • Figure 2 is an exploded view of the essential parts characteristic of the invention.
  • Figure 3 is a side view of a ski boot according to Figure 1 in the open position.
  • Figure 4 is a partial summary perspective view of the fork / cam and ramp assembly characteristic of the invention.
  • FIG. 5 is a detailed view of the cam / ramp system shown in section along axis VI-VI ′ in FIG. 6.
  • FIG. 7 is a side view of a ski boot with a traditional entry, that is to say with a single collar, according to the invention, shown in the closed position.
  • the ski boot according to the invention firstly comprises a shell designated by the general reference (1), molded plastic commonly used for this application.
  • This one-piece shell (1) comprises a toe (2), a sole (3), a heel (4) with a sidewalk (5) supporting the heel piece and a rear face (6).
  • Molding slots (7) ensure the holding of the foot in the shell under the effect of cables not shown, actuated during closure.
  • the reference (8) designates a lug molded in the sole (3) to form the axis of articulation of the rigid hoop (20) by cooperating with an orifice (24) provided for this purpose at the end of the rigid hoop (20).
  • the shoe also includes a collar formed in two parts, respectively a front cuff (10) and a rear cuff (11).
  • the front cuff (10) is articulated at (25) on an orifice provided for this purpose at the end of the rigid arch.
  • the rear cuff (11) is articulated on the rigid hoop at (26) around an axis disposed at the malleoli.
  • This rear cuff (11) has a base (12) on the rear and bottom.
  • the ski boot comprises a rigid arch designated by the general reference (20), in the shape of a U, which hugs the rear (6) of the shell (1), essentially comprising two branches (21, 22) articulated at their ends. (24) on the lugs forming pins (8) of the shell (1).
  • the assembly also comprises a rigid monobloc fork comprising two branches (31,32), obtained by molding, designated by the general reference (30), and of which the internal shape matches the external shape of the rigid hoop (20), more precisely of the two branches (21,22) and of the connection portion (23).
  • the end of the two arms (31,32) of the fork (30) has orifices (33,34) intended to receive (see FIGS. 2 and 6) a cam assembly constituted by a cam proper (36,37) , the top of which has orthogonal axes (38,39) associated with heads (40,41).
  • the lower end of the cams (36,37) has fingers (42,43) directed inwards.
  • the rear face (80) of the characteristic fork (30) has, coming from molding, a gripping element (35) intended to actuate the characteristic U-shaped fork (30).
  • the base (12) of the rear cuff (11) is permanently supported on the top of the rear (45) of the rigid hoop (20).
  • the rear of the shell (1) and more precisely at the heel, for example in the sole (3) has a ramp (60) coming from molding, intended to cooperate with the cams (36,37) and more precisely with the fingers (42,43).
  • This ramp (60) firstly comprises a first portion (61) progressively increasing, intended to ensure a gradual rise of the ends of the legs (31) and (32) of the fork (30), and consequently of the 'rigid hoop (20), therefore a progressive tightening by actuation of cables not shown specially on the slots (7).
  • This first portion is connected at (62) to a peak forming a point top, then to a second portion (63), the slope of which is less than that of the slope of the first portion (61), so as to slightly loosen the clamping action of the cables.
  • the characteristic cams (37) and the ramp (60) are formed in an opening (65) provided for this purpose during molding.
  • the ramp coming from molding is arranged on the side of the shell (or of an intermediate piece) at the level of the malleoli, which makes it possible to hide it by the collar and thus avoid the penetration of the snow.
  • the characteristic cam-ramp assembly can be produced in the form of a succession of cam / ramp systems, namely a pinion.
  • the cam (37) can have the shape of a portion of a toothed wheel centered on the axis (29) and molded with the fork (30), and the complementary ramp (60) has the shape of a toothed sector fixed on the hull and also molded.
  • the characteristic cams (36,37) which are arranged on the other side of the branches (21,22) of the rigid arch (20) relative to the branches (31,32) of the fork (30), are adjustable in angular position around the articulation axis (29) of the fork (30) relative to the axis YY ′.
  • connection portion (80) of the fork (30) has a latching system on the external face (23) of the rigid hoop (20), intended to lock ( or to unlock), the fork (30) of the hoop (20).
  • the characteristic cams (36, 37) are thus adjustable in angular position (see FIG. 5), in order to define an angle alpha with the axis YY ′ of the legs (32) of the fork. This angle is then immobilized in rotation by any suitable means.
  • the point of contact (A) between the finger (43) of the cam (37) on the ramp ( 60), must be located on the second portion of the ramp (63), on the other side of the peak forming a high point (62) on the one hand, and on the other hand, to the left of the vertical axis XX ′ , passing through the hinge pin (29) in the branches (22) of the rigid hoop (20).
  • These two conditions are essential if one wishes to obtain an irreversible system, that is to say a system which prevents, during tensile stresses, on the cables intended to hold the foot in the hull, to tilt the fork ( 30) in the low position ( Figure 3).
  • FIG. 7 briefly shows an embodiment of the invention applied to ski boots with a single collar, also called “traditional”.
  • the collar forming a single cuff (70) has closing members such as hooks (71, 72) and is as previously articulated at (26) on the rigid hoop (20).
  • the bottom and the rear (73) of the collar are, as previously, permanently supported on the top and the rear (45) of the hoop (20).
