Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the production of a profile intended to be used when laying tiles or other coverings on generally horizontal or vertical surfaces. In this field, there are to date several profiles meeting this need, for example metal or plastic profiles having a support branch with perforations of circular, trapezoidal or other varied forms, said support branch having on one side a more or less inclined or rounded profile and a section having two parallel or substantially parallel faces.
Such embodiments have drawbacks mainly concerning the proper sealing of the joint, generally executed in white cement, filling the more or less wide void existing between the upper edge of the inclined or rounded branch and the last row of ceramic tiles for example.
Another drawback results from the lack of good adhesion due to perforations more or less well suited to good anchoring in the adhesive mortar for laying. Another drawback is also caused by certain profiles known to date which have too small sections of the inclined or rounded branches, which has the effect of poor resistance over time of these profiles after installation.
The object of the invention is precisely to propose a profile making it possible to eliminate the three drawbacks mentioned above.
The invention therefore relates to a profile intended to be used during the installation of cartelages or other similar surface coatings, having the constitution defined in the preamble of

According to the invention, this profile also includes the arrangements defined in the characterizing part of
- la hauteur du contre-joint, mesurée à partir de la face inférieure de la semelle d'appui, est au plus égale A 0,5 fois la valeur du rayon de la face externe du 1/4 de rond ;
- la face du contre-joint, opposée au 1/4 de rond, est inclinée de l'ordre de 60°, vers le 1/4 de rond, par rapport à la face inférieure de la semelle d'appui ;
- la face du contre-joint, opposée au 1/4 de rond, est entièrement striée ;
- the height of the counter joint, measured from the underside of the support flange, is at most equal to 0.5 times the value of the radius of the outer face of the 1/4 round;
- the face of the counter-joint, opposite the 1/4 of a circle, is inclined on the order of 60 °, towards the 1/4 of a circle, relative to the underside of the support sole;
- the face of the counter-joint, opposite the 1/4 round, is entirely striated;
- the 1/4 of the round has, at its end furthest from the support sole, a return face, which follows the external face of the said 1/4 of the round, which extends substantially perpendicular to the underside of the support sole and which is entirely striated.
The main advantages of the invention lie in the good resistance, over time, of the finishing joint and in the perfect anchoring of the sole in the adhesive adhesive mortar.
The invention will be better understood and the advantages will appear during the description of the characteristics of the profile produced according to the invention and given below by way of example.
