Claims (14)

  1. Outil abrasif constitué par un support en forme de disque pouvant être accouplé à un arbre d'entraînement et par des lamelles abrasives disposées en éventail, appliquées sur son bord, le support présentant un enfoncement central perforé, caractérisé en ce que le support est composé d'un matériau à base végétale stratifié dans le sens de l'épaisseur du disque qui est lié à l'aide d'une résine synthétique et dans lequel les couches sont réticulées ou feutrées entre elles.
  2. Outil abrasif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le matériau stratifié comprend une ou plusieurs des matières suivantes : bois, papier, cellulose, fibres de coton, de chanvre, de lin, de ramie, de jute sous forme de tissu ou de non tissé.
  3. Outil abrasif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la résine synthétique liante est une résine d'urée, une résine époxydique, une résine phénolique, une résine de mélamine, une résine de polyester ou un mélange d'une ou de plusieurs des résines précitées.
  4. Outil abrasif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la fraction de résine synthétique du matériau de support se situe au-dessous de 10% en poids.
  5. Outil abrasif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que la fraction de résine synthétique du matériau de support se situe à environ 5% en poids.
  6. Procédé de fabrication d'un outil abrasif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, constitué par un support en forme de disque pouvant être accouplé à un arbre d'entraînement et par des lamelles abrasives disposées en éventail, appliquées sur son bord, le support présentant un enfoncement central perforé, caractérisé par les étapes suivantes :
    - imprégnation de placages de bois ou de bandes de papier à l'aide d'un prépolymère,
    - découpage à la dimension de pièces à partir de ce matériau avec des dimensions minimales qui dépassent le diamètre souhaité du disque,
    - introduction des pièces dans un moule,
    - pressage à chaud des pièces avec formage de l'enfoncement central, réticulation du matériau en bois ou en papier et polymérisation du prépolymère en vue de la liaison des couches de bois ou de papier, du matériau étant étiré vers l'intérieur à partir du bord des pièces,
    - découpage du support dans la zone comprimée avec centrage en ce qui concerne l'enfoncement et
    - perçage d'un trou central dans le support, centré par rapport à l'enfoncement, après quoi le support est tapissé par collage de lamelles abrasives du côté opposé à l'enfoncement.
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce qu'un prépolymère de résine phénolique est utilisé pour l'imprégnation.
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 6 ou 7, caractérisé en ce que du papier de recyclage est utilisé comme bande de papier.
  9. Procédé selon la revendication 6 ou 7, caractérisé en ce que les placages de bois possèdent une épaisseur de 0,3 à O,8 mm.
  10. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 6 à 9, caractérisé en ce que les bandes sont imprégnées à l'aide du prépolymère.
  11. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 6 à 10, caractérisé en ce que des pièces carrées sont découpées dans le matériau.
  12. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 6 à 11, caractérisé en ce que le pressage à chaud et l'estampage sont réalisés dans un outil commun.
  13. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 6 à 12, caractérisé en ce que le trou central est poinçonné dans le support.
  14. Utilisation d'une matière à mouler à partir d'un matériau à base végétale stratifié avec un liant à base de résine synthétique, préparée selon l'une des revendications 6 à 13, comme support pour des outils abrasifs garnis de lamelles abrasives selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5.
