Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pivot bearing for the door support rod of motor vehicle door locks, consisting of a hinge half with a fixed fit arranged non-rotatably on a first door or flap arrangement part, door or door pillar in at least one bearing eye, and a bearing pin in at least one bearing eye on the second Door or flap arrangement part arranged second joint half bearing bushing.
  • a typical example of such conditions is the mounting of the door holding rod of such door locks of motor vehicle doors, in which the required, considerable braking and holding forces of the door lock are applied by the interaction of detents arranged on a door holding rod with spring-loaded locking elements arranged in a holder housing, and in which therefore the bearing of the door support rod, resulting from the high braking and holding forces to be applied by the door arrester in the radial direction, is loaded with abruptly occurring high peak loads and, however, via a long operating time must be maintenance-free and noiseless.
  • Bearing bushes were therefore used in the mounting of the door holding rod of motor vehicle door locks, via which the bearing pin supporting the door holding rod on the bearing block is mounted in the bearing eye bore of the door holding rod.
  • the bearing pin has already been designed to be resilient in itself, in particular according to the proposal according to DE-A-19 15 751 by using an adapter sleeve as a bearing pin.
  • This measure which is effective in itself and can be used at a tolerable cost, can, however, only be used for bearings of the door holding rod in which the door holding rod is accommodated in a bearing block with two legs.
  • DE-C-32 07 922 also eliminates the manually outlined problem for the door holding rod of a motor vehicle door arrester to eliminate the problems outlined above have been proposed, in which the door holding rod is mounted by means of a specially designed bearing bush and a bearing pin in a two-armed bearing block and which is characterized in that the bearing pin is formed by a screw bolt and the two beaded collars of the bearing bush designed as a collar bushing on the bearing arms of the bearing block trained inclined surfaces are assigned such that by tightening a nut of the screw bolt, a wedge effect which eliminates any bearing play that may have occurred can be exerted on the bead-shaped collar of the bearing bush.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a pivot bearing for parts of motor vehicles which can be produced and assembled with the least possible outlay and which allows the steering to be steered smoothly, maintenance-free and noiselessly, without any deterioration in the bearing quality, the operation of which repeatedly causes radially directed peak loads to occur in the bearing point at the same circumferential point.
  • the bearing pin is rotatably mounted in the bearing eye bore, which has a certain oversize, at least under normal radial bearing load by means of a correspondingly designed bearing element and only comes into contact with the remaining peripheral surface of the bearing eye when a radial peak load occurs, as a result of which the highest occurring force peaks can be supported directly and securely between the bearing pin and the bearing eye bore without the risk of the bearing knocking out, since the bearing pin only brakes and comes into contact with the inner circumferential surface of the bearing eye with additional partial elastic support.
  • This also results in the fact that the remaining inner circumferential surface of the bearing eye does not necessarily have to be lined with a bearing bush in order to ensure that the pivot bearing can move smoothly and permanently.
  • the reversal of this bearing principle can also be provided, in that the bearing eye bore in the swivel joint half in which the bearing pin has a sliding seat has a radial clearance with respect to it and that the bearing pin is supported in this bearing eye bore via a bearing bush which is about at least one axially directed, radially protruding and linear or strip-shaped Contact surface made of resilient material is supported in the bearing eye bore.
  • a bearing bush which is about at least one axially directed, radially protruding and linear or strip-shaped Contact surface made of resilient material is supported in the bearing eye bore.
  • the linear or strip-shaped contact surfaces of the bearing bush are formed by axially directed webs projecting radially beyond their outer circumference.
  • the bearing eye bore in the pivot bearing half in which the bearing pin has a sliding seat has a radial play relative to it and a bearing bush bearing the bearing pin in the bearing eye bore has at least one axially directed, bead-like and resiliently elastically deformable thickening .
  • the bearing eye bore in the swivel bearing half in which the bearing pin has a sliding seat has a radial play relative to it and the bearing bush supporting the bearing pin in the bearing eye bore in the radial direction by only one axially directed, bead-shaped and resiliently deformable profile section is formed.
  • Such a profile section can either be used in connection with a thin-walled bearing shell or the like. Or alone in the bearing eye bore and is sufficient in certain cases to make the articulated bearing permanently noise-free in the manner according to the invention.
  • a bearing bushing is arranged from a plurality, distributed over the circumference of the bearing pin and on the one hand only over part of its circumference, and on the other hand partially received in radial groove recesses in the bearing eye bore Profile sections exist.
  • the resiliently elastic profile sections can expediently be distributed over the circumference of the bearing pin such that they are on both sides the support point of an expected peak load.
  • the bead-like profile sections of the bearing bush can be designed differently, in particular it can be provided that the profile section or sections of the bearing bush have a crescent-shaped cross-sectional profile, the profile contour facing the bearing pin having its circumferential profile and the profile contour engaging in the radial recess in the bearing eye bore Cross-sectional shape corresponds.
  • the radial groove recesses in the bearing eye bore have a profile cross-sectional shape that differs from the profile shape of the bead-like profile sections, or that the bead-like profile sections of the bearing bushing are conical in the longitudinal direction.
  • Both measures can support the coordination of the elastic support of the bearing pin or take into account the material shift occurring in the event of an elastic deformation, in each case individually or, if appropriate, jointly and in conjunction with a corresponding material selection for the bead-like profile sections.
  • the bead-like profile sections are designed as a hollow profile, in particular in order to increase their elasticity or to take account of the material flow occurring in the event of elastic deformation.
  • the bead-like profile sections of the bearing bush are connected to one another to form an assembly part, it being possible in a first embodiment to provide that the bead-like profile sections along the circumferential surface of the bearing pin at least over part of the bearing eye height are connected via uniformly thin-walled circumferential sections of the bearing bush and, according to a further embodiment, it can also be provided that the bead-like profile sections the bearing bush is arranged free-standing over the bearing eye height and are connected to one another by means of a radially directed collar spanning the end face of the bearing.
  • this embodiment can either be designed so that the radial collar connecting the bead-like profile sections of the bearing bush to one another is smooth, or so that the radial collar connecting the bead-like profile sections of the bearing bush to one another is designed to be resiliently elastic and undulating.
  • the radially protruding collar can be made to run in a ring or be provided with at least one radial S-slot recess.
  • the bearing bush consists of a total of four profile sections which are arranged uniformly distributed over the circumference of the bearing eye and are connected on one side by a radially protruding and designed as a corrugated spring element, which crosses the end face of the bearing half and that the bearing pin in the swivel joint on the one hand is fixed via a radially projecting head and on the other hand by means of riveting.
  • the holder housing 1 In one consisting of a holder housing 1 and a spring-loaded brake or. Holding bodies 3 cooperating door holding rod 4 existing door arrester for motor vehicle doors, the holder housing 1 is rigidly attached to a door arrangement part, door or door pillar, and the door holding rod 4 is articulated pivotably on the other door arrangement part by means of a bearing block 5 and a pivot bearing 6.
  • the pivot bearing 6 of the door support rod 4 is designed to be overhung, in such a way that the bearing block 5 has a mounting foot 7 and a bearing arm 8, the latter having a bearing eye bore 9 which is conical over part of its axial length and which in turn is supported by a bearing pin 10 is enforced.
  • the bearing pin 10 has a cylindrical shaft part 11, a radially projecting head 12 adjoining it on one side and a rivet part 13 axially adjoining the shaft part 11, the rivet part 13 being conical over part 14 of its length. Via its rivet part 13, the bearing pin is fixed by riveting 15 against the outer surface 16 of the bearing arm 8 of the bearing block 5.
  • the door holding rod 4 has at its free end a bearing eye bore 9 which extends from the shaft part 11 of the bearing pin 10 is enforced.
  • the bearing eye bore 9 of the door holding rod 4 is supported in the exemplary embodiment shown by means of a bearing bush 17 against the cylindrical section 11 of the bearing pin 10, the bearing bush 17 consisting of a number of beaded profile sections 18 which are distributed over the circumference of the cylindrical bearing pin section 11 and which are arranged one above the other radially protruding collar 19 are connected to a uniformly manageable component.
  • the profile sections 18 of the bearing bush 17 have a crescent-shaped or crescent-shaped cross-sectional shape, as can be seen particularly clearly from the illustration in FIG. 5, their inner surface 20 facing the bearing pin 10 being adapted to the profile contour of the cylindrical shaft part 11 of the bearing pin 10, while its rear cross-sectional contour 21 is approximately circular-arc shaped.
  • the profile sections 18 of the bearing bush 17 engage in groove-shaped, axially directed groove recesses 23 of the bearing eye bore 9 of the door holding rod 4.
  • the radially protruding collar 19 of the bearing bush 17 is wave-shaped as a corrugated spring, as can be seen in particular from the representations of Figures 3 and 6 and 7, while in the embodiment shown in Figure 2 the radially protruding collar 19 of the bearing bush 17 is smooth.
  • the shaft part 11 of the bearing pin 10 of the bearing eye bore 9 in the door retaining rod 4 has an undersize "x", so that the cylindrical shaft part 11 of the bearing eye bore 9 has a play "x" on all sides.
  • the cylindrical shaft part 11 of the bearing pin 10 is therefore only in contact with the inner surfaces 20 of the bead-shaped profile sections 18 when the pivot bearing is mounted and the door holding rod 4 is in the unloaded position or is only loaded to a certain degree, which does not exceed the limit of the elastic deformation load of the profile sections 18 , whereby an absolutely noiseless mounting of the door holding rod 4 is guaranteed in any case in a load-free or only below an upper load limit lying load.
  • the profile sections 18 consisting of a resiliently deformable material will be deformed by the radial pressure exerted on them by the cylindrical shaft part 11 of the bearing pin 10 to such an extent that the shaft part 10 of the bearing pin 10 on the inner circumferential surface of the bearing eye bore 9 Door support rod 4 comes to rest, only the load peak being transmitted through the mutual and direct contact of cylindrical shaft part 11 of the bearing pin 10 on the inner circumferential surface of the bearing eye bore 9.
  • the arrangement of the profile sections 18 is selected in the exemplary embodiment shown such that the level of the highest peak load of the pivot bearing to be expected lies between two adjacent profile sections 18.
