Definitions

  • the invention relates to a handle-mandrel fastening device for the actuation of a lockable leaf of a gate or the like with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • a known handle-mandrel fastening device - DE-PS 35 14 996 - is designed to be adaptable to different installation conditions, in particular different door leaf thicknesses, in that the polygonal pin projects with its one end into a cavity of the shell-shaped outer handle body, in which one extends in the longitudinal direction of the pin is finely graduated locking device, in which a projection provided at the end of the pin engages.
  • the outer handle body is provided at its end facing away from the pin with a cover closing the cavity of the shell-shaped outer handle body, whereby the latching device can be reached in such a way that the pin end differs into that Lichen interventions with the locking device can be used optionally, so that the end of the pin facing away from the outer handle body ends at different distances accordingly.
  • the maximum adjustment distance between the pin and the outer handle is chosen so long that the handle set can be adapted to door leaf thicknesses that vary several times the thinnest door leaf thickness.
  • the inner handle can be screwed into the pin end facing away from the outer handle body by a screw that can be screwed in the longitudinal direction of the pin, the displacement of the inner handle body on the pin in the screw-on direction may only take place to such an extent that the inner handle body engages the lock nut and thereby a collar between the outer handle body and a receptacle provided on this in the direction of the door leaf and engaging in it engages mirror-like on the opening edge of the door leaf or on a shield arranged thereon.
  • Plastic handle sets - at least outer handle body - of the above type no longer use. Due to the weather resistance required, special surface treatments or surface treatments - for example on a die-cast zinc body - are also out of the question. At least there are not insignificant difficulties here.
  • Weatherproof handle bodies such as aluminum or brass, are produced as castings in which complicated shapes and, in particular, thin wall thicknesses cause difficulties and cause high costs. Demanding, weather-resistant handle body of this casting type should therefore be free of complicated cavities and if possible be made in one piece.
  • GB-A-1172994 also discloses a handle set for a door, gate and similar building locking sheet, which has two handle bodies.
  • the handle bodies are arranged at a distance from one another on two opposite surfaces of a door leaf, for example, and are connected to one another in a rotationally fixed manner by means of a square pin.
  • the pin engages with one end body in the form of a part of a cone in a form-fitting manner.
  • the end of the pin which is in the shape of a partial cone is offset from the pin.
  • the pin is fastened to the second handle body by means of a sleeve encompassing the opposite end of the pin, which engages with a screw which connects the handle body to the pin.
  • the pin has an external thread over its entire length, the thread being limited to the longitudinal edge regions of the polygonal pin.
  • a nut is screwed onto this thread, with which the effective length of the connecting structure consisting of pin and sleeve between the two handle bodies is set.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a handle-mandrel fastening device of the type mentioned above, the exact pin length adaptation to the respective in a sophisticated, weather-resistant design, especially in solid metal design, especially the outer handle body Installation conditions, in particular also different dimensions of the door leaf thickness, are permitted without there being a risk of the handles being rotatable relative to the door leaf.
  • the lock nut clamped between the nut and the other handle body alone determines the position of the entire fastening device, so that even with different distances between the lock nut and the door leaf side facing away from the lock or the edge of the door leaf opening, optimal guidance and torsional mobility of the handle body for the actuation of the lock can be set and guaranteed.
  • the polygonal pin In addition to its traditional task of connecting the two handle bodies to one another while transmitting their rotary movement to the lock nut, the polygonal pin also fulfills the task of providing a thread for the nut so that by turning it a change in position in the longitudinal direction required for the stop adjustment on the lock nut can experience the pen. This is intended for a stepless and correspondingly fine adjustment of the screw on the polygon pin - usually a square pin Thread is limited to the edge areas, so that the flat surfaces of the pin remaining between the longitudinal edges of the pin can still serve the twist connection between the handle bodies and the lock nut. You can retrofit the thread on such a polygonal pin, i.e. only edit the edge areas by a thread cutting process, but you could also provide a continuously threaded pin with flats, so that the polygonal contour results.
  • the thread extends over the entire length of the pin.
  • the pin can be engaged in a longitudinally displaceable manner in one handle body and positively fixed in various longitudinal displacement positions adapted to sheet thicknesses of different thicknesses. This is again done in a preferred embodiment with the aid of a locking pin, the aligned holes in the polygonal pin and the one in the selected longitudinal displacement position Grips through.
  • a hole or a coaxial pair of holes is provided in the wall of a receptacle compared to a series of holes in the pin, which is formed on one handle body protruding toward the inside of the door leaf and which engages around the pin.
  • the preferably circular-cylindrical outer surface of the wall of this socket carries a longitudinally displaceable grip bushing which engages in the edge of the door leaf opening for receiving the pin and in this displacement position overlaps the hole or the pair of holes in the wall of the socket, so that the aligned holes in the The socket wall and the locking pin penetrating the pin cannot escape from its engagement position even if it is only loosely seated in the penetrated holes.
  • the fastening device or handle set designated as a whole, consists of a square pin 2 and an outer handle body 3 and an inner handle body 4.
  • the one end 5 of the pin 2 facing the outer handle body 3 is located in a cavity 6 of the outer handle body 3, while the other end 7 of the pin 2 is located within the inner handle body 4.
  • the pin 2 passes through a door leaf 8 or a door leaf filling, which - as can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2 - can have different thicknesses, and a lock nut 9, which is arranged within a lock housing 10, which is located on the inside of the door leaf 8 . It is irrelevant whether the lock housing 10 symbolizes a lockable lock or just a locking device.
  • the square pin 2 passes through a somewhat larger circular gate opening 11 and is connected to the lock nut 9, the inner handle body 3 via an inner wall 12 and the inner handle body 4 via an inner wall 13 and rotatably connected in its longitudinal direction.
  • the inner walls 12 and 13 of the handle body and the inner wall of the lock nut 9 are square-shaped to suit the square profile of the pin 2.
  • the inner wall 12 of the outer handle 3 is formed within a receiving socket 14 and propagates in the cavity 6 of the outer handle body 3, which therefore only serves to receive the pin 2 with its end 5 ahead in various displacement positions and is correspondingly small.
  • the receiving connector 14 is formed on an end wall 18 of the outer handle body 3 facing the inner handle body 4 and extends in the direction of the inner handle body 4 into the door leaf bore 11.
  • the inner wall 13 is formed within the shaft part 15 of the inner handle body 4.
  • the pin 2 which is displaceably received in the direction of its longitudinal axis 22 and is displaceably received in the direction of its longitudinal axis 22 in the case of the design of the inner wall 12 also in the cavity 6 of the outer handle body 3, is provided with a series of — in the present case three — bores 16 which are vertical are continuous to the longitudinal axis 22 from one broad side to the other.
  • the holes are formed in succession in the longitudinal direction of the pin, so that, depending on the displacement position, one of the three pin holes 16 comes into alignment with two connecting holes 17, which are arranged at correspondingly opposite locations in the wall of the receptacle 14, breaking through them.
  • the connecting bores 17 are arranged in the vicinity of the end face 18 of the outer handle body 3 facing the inner handle body 4, from which the receptacle connector 14 on the outer handle body 3 protrudes in one piece.
  • a locking pin 19 is passed, which is longer than the distance between the opposite broad sides of the square pin, in the present case dimensioned so long that the locking pin 19 which passes through the pin 2 , at both ends in one of the aligned bores 17 of the nozzle 14 protrudes.
  • the receptacle 14 has an outer surface which is in the form of a cylindrical cylinder and extends coaxially to the longitudinal axis 22 of the pin 2 and on which a grip bushing 20 is mounted so as to be displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal axis 22.
  • the grip bushing is arranged between the outer handle body 3 or its socket 14 and the door leaf opening 11 and its edge, which appears towards the outside of the door leaf, which directly on the door leaf or - as shown in the present example - in this respect on the outer surface of a handle plate 21 on the end face 18 of the outer handle body 3 occurs opposite.
  • the grip bushing forms a kind of guide chuck in the door leaf opening, which is also provided in the case of a grip shield and in which the engagement of the bushing can be limited to the grip shield area.
  • the grip bushing can have particularly good sliding properties with respect to the surface of the socket 14 and the end face 18 of the grip body 3.
  • the grip bushing 20 fulfills an additional task, namely to hold the locking pin 19 in its insertion position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in that the bushing covers the radially outer mouths of the connecting bores 17 when it is in its operating position, ie when the fastening device has been transferred to its operating position on the door leaf.
  • the handle bushing 20 can be displaced in the axial direction of the pin for longitudinal adjustment of the pin 2 relative to the outer handle body 3 with the handle body correspondingly removed from the door leaf are so that it releases the connection openings 27 and thus allows the insertion of the locking pin 19.
  • the locking pin 19 is prevented from sliding out of the bores 16 and 17, so that the locking pin can sit loosely in the bores, which is why the length adjustment of the pin is opposite corresponding to the outer handle body 3 can be carried out without any effort requiring a tool.
  • the square pin 2 has a thread 24 limited to its longitudinal edge areas 23, onto which a nut 25 is screwed.
  • This thread is dimensioned as if it were applied to a round pin with a diameter that corresponds to the diagonal distance between two correspondingly opposite longitudinal edge regions 23. This can be done by first producing a square pin 2 with the aforementioned diagonal longitudinal edge distance and then applying the thread 24, which is then only apparent in the longitudinal edge areas 23. It would also be possible to first provide a pin with a round cross section with the thread 24 in the usual manner and then flatten it to form a square pin, so that the thread no longer appears in the area of the majority of the wide surfaces.
  • the present pin its rotational movement transmission property is combined with that of a threaded pin, on which the nut 25 can be continuously and finely metered by rotating it into correspondingly different positions in the longitudinal direction of the pin.
  • the thread is formed from the end 7 of the pin assigned to the inner handle body 4, starting from a section 26 of the longitudinal extent of the pin 2, which extends beyond the longitudinal center of the pin.
  • the longitudinal displacement position of the pin 2 relative to the outer handle body 3 is first determined taking into account the rough door leaf thickness, so that a pin bore 16 matches the connecting bores 17 of the connecting piece 14 of the handle body 3.
  • the pin 2 is pushed far into the outer handle body 3, so that the last pin hole 16 in this direction of displacement comes into alignment with the holes 17.
  • This position is fixed by inserting the locking pin 19.
  • the handle sleeve 20, which is displaced axially from the end face 18 of the handle body 3 for the insertion of the locking pin 19, is moved back into the position shown after the locking pin 19 has been inserted, in which the locking pin 19 is held in its position.
  • the nut 25 is rotated into a suitable longitudinal position on the thread 24 and then the pin with its free end 7 is inserted through the door leaf opening 11 and the lock nut 9 until the nut 25 comes into contact with the lock nut 9. If the radially protruding edge of the grip bushing 20 comes earlier on the outside or edge of the opening 11 in the handle plate 21 connected to the door leaf 8, the nut 25 must accordingly be turned further towards the end 7 of the pin. Conversely, the radial edge of the grip sleeve 20 is too far from the surface of the handle plate 21, the nut 25 is turned back accordingly.
  • the positioning of the grip bushing 20 relative to the grip plate 21 can be positioned while maintaining a favorable play or the least frictional guide intervention.
  • the grip bushing 20 sticks in the opening 11 of the grip plate 21 or the door leaf 8 and the receiving socket 14 of the outer grip body 3 moves in the longitudinal direction of the pin 2 relative to the grip bushing 20
  • the above considerations apply to the end play between the support bushing 20 and the end face 18 of the outer handle body 3.
  • Figure 2 shows a relatively thick door leaf, for which the device is adapted by pulling the pin 2 out of the cavity 6 of the outer handle body 3 until the last pin hole 16 in this direction of displacement with the holes 17 in the wall of the socket 14th are aligned, whereupon the insertion of the pin 19 takes place with a corresponding displacement of the grip bushing 20, as was described in connection with FIG. 1. This also applies to the hiring of mother 25.
  • a mark can be made on the pin 2 for the at least approximately correct longitudinal displacement position of the nut 25.
  • the inner handle body 4 is pushed onto the end 7 of the pin 2 pushed through the lock nut 9, so that the end of the handle shaft 15 facing the lock on the facing end of the lock nut 9 attacks.
  • the inner handle body is provided at its outer end with an opening 27 through which a screw 28 is passed, which engages in a threaded blind hole 29 which is provided in the end 7 of the pin 2.
  • the screw 28, like the threaded bore 29, has a certain length in order to be able to set different displacement positions of the inner handle body 4 in adaptation to the position of the nut 25.
