Definitions

  • the above invention relates to a reusable body for creating a collapsible spool.
  • Bobbin for winding threads, cords, tapes, wires and the like have become known in various designs and materials. These bobbins consist essentially of a tubular component and two side disks, between which the material is wound.
  • the essentially cylindrical shape of the known bobbins would also bring considerable space for storing and transporting the empty bobbins. For this reason, there remains a tendency to view bobbins made of cardboard, wood, plastic or other materials as waste products after the contents have been unwound from the bobbin. Since the costs for the production of the known bobbins are considerable, especially if the bobbins are larger in size, it would be advantageous to be able to use the bobbins several times, with the possibility of separating the individual components of the bobbin to separate the materials, such as cardboard , Metal or plastic, can be used again. Because of the reasons given, it is difficult to reuse the known bobbins due to damage or partial destruction when using the bobbin, its storage or its transport, which leads to a sorting out of the damaged bobbins with a considerable amount of time.
  • a bobbin which is composed of two half-bodies which can be connected to one another and which delimit a winding space by means of integrally molded circumferential flanges.
  • a disadvantage of the known coil body is that the semi-bodies for storage and transport purposes are not stackable to save space. Furthermore, there is no provision for the use of interchangeable side storage disks which can be stored in a space-saving manner and are made of different materials and with different dimensions.
  • the known coil can also not be used in automatic winding or unwinding devices, but is only suitable for manual operation.
  • the half-bodies are joined together disadvantageously with the provision of two connecting bolts that can be operatively connected to openings in the adjacent half-body.
  • the disadvantage of the proposed connecting bolts can be seen in the fact that they have to be connected to the bottom wall of the semi-body in a separate work process, which leads to an increase in the cost of production. Furthermore, the connecting bolts protrude from the bottom wall of the semi-body by a considerable amount, which leads to low stability when storing or transporting the separated half-bodies, and finally, with frequent use of the proposed connecting bolts, signs of wear and tear cannot be excluded, and this leads to repeated assembling and disassembling the half bodies so that a firm and coherent connection between the half bodies is no longer possible.
  • the object of the above invention is to propose a new bobbin which can be transported with a minimum of space, which can be dismantled and easily reused, possibly by replacing damaged components, possible.
  • these components are exposed to a greater risk of damage and are provided interchangeably according to the invention.
  • the boundary surfaces are made of cheap, recyclable material and thus represent real "disposable parts", which allow economical and advantageous reuse of the tubular coil body, which is the most expensive component of the coil.
  • a reusable bobbin consisting of two identical truncated cone-like half-bodies, which can be joined together with their bottom wall having a smaller diameter and are delimited by a radially projecting flange at the end with the larger diameter, in that the half-body is cup-shaped is formed and its wall circumscribes an interior for receiving a further half body and that limiting disks are provided which can be detachably attached to each frustoconical half body and in contact with its radially projecting flange.
  • the cup-shaped half bodies of the coil have the same shape, ie the half bodies can be produced with a single injection mold.
  • the half bodies are interchangeable.
  • the cup-shaped half-bodies can be stacked in a precisely defined assignment, there is little clearance in diameter between the half-bodies. In this way it can be avoided with certainty that the semi-bodies jam against one another during stacking, for example if frustoconical parts are inserted into one another to form a stack with a certain height. Even if the cup-shaped bobbins are slightly conical, according to the invention a considerable mutual penetration of the bobbins is achieved during the stacking process.
  • Rib-like stop means are provided which lead to a stacking process with little play in the direction of the diameter.
  • the ribs are also used as drive means in connection with corresponding drive jaws of the winding device.
  • Tooth-like hooks projecting from the bottom of the cup-shaped half body are provided, which are provided with uniform division on a concentrically provided circumferential line of the half body to form a self-centering connection between the parts.
  • the tubular bobbin which is produced according to the invention by the connection of two cup-shaped half bodies, has a high degree of stiffness in the axial direction, which leads to an overall stiffness of the entire bobbin.
  • a stop for the positional arrangement of the annular disk is formed by an edge flange on the cup-shaped half body. This allows the ring-shaped disc to be quickly and securely attached to the half body and at the same time creates a secure and firm connection between the half bodies and the discs.
  • the side pane surfaces which can be most easily damaged due to their shape and dimensions, are advantageously made from cheap material, such as cardboard, wood, sheet metal or plastic material.
  • the good stackability of the cup-shaped half-bodies make it possible to significantly reduce the space required for the inter-assembled and stacked half-bodies. If it is desirable to also use the side boundary washers again, provided they are made of more valuable material, a significant advantage will be achieved in terms of the space required and the resulting transportation costs if, for example, the washers are stacked separately from the cup-shaped semi-bodies. This results in lower transport costs and lower storage costs.
  • each cup-shaped semi-body has a connecting piece which extends in the axial direction and which ensures high stability of the tubular body on the spindle and a compact design of the coil.
  • the cup-shaped semi-bodies are advantageously made of plastic and do not require any further components or additional devices for their mutual connection.
  • the bobbin according to the invention is generally identified with 1.
  • the bobbin 1 is equipped with removable side limit plates 3.
  • the limit plates 3 are designed as a disposable part and on the tubular body 2 of the bobbin 1 is attached. 4, the filling level of the coil former 1 is represented by dash-dot lines.
  • the tubular body 2 is formed by two cup-shaped half bodies 5, which have the same shape. The cup-shaped half-body 5 can thus be produced using a single injection or compression mold, for this reason only one cup-shaped half-body 5 can be referred to in the following description.
  • the cup-shaped half body 5 has a wall 6 which extends slightly conically from the bottom 7.
  • the bottom 7 is deformed inward to form a receiving sleeve 8.
  • the sleeve 8 is directed to the inside of the cup-shaped half body 5 and has a through hole 9 which serves to receive a holding spindle, not shown.
  • a contact flange is identified, against which a lateral limiting disc 3 comes to rest.
  • Fig. 2 are provided with 11 fastening openings for introducing the wound material end. 1 and 3, 12 denotes an opening in the cup-shaped half-body 5, to which the inner beginning of the material to be wound is connected.
  • the Aufwickelvorgaenge for the coil shown are known per se and are not described in detail.
  • the width of the openings 14 corresponds essentially to the width (H) of the tooth-like, elastic hooks 13.
  • slots 15 are incorporated diametrically opposite, which extend in the axial direction from the floor 7 along the surface line of the boundary wall. Furthermore, on the inside of the tubular wall 6 diametrically opposite ribs 16 are provided, which essentially originate from the flange 10. During the stacking process, the tip 17 of the rib 16 of the lower half body 5 comes into operative connection with the upper side 18 of the slot 15 of the upper half body. This results in a positive connection between the half bodies 5, the stacking position between the cup-shaped half bodies 5 is precisely defined. There is play in the circumferential direction between the half bodies 5, so that the half bodies are not pressed into one another.
  • the stack formed from half bodies 5 is self-supporting, stable and can consist of a large number of cup-shaped half bodies 5.
  • the inner diameter (d) of the laterally arranged disk-shaped limiting disks 3 is smaller held as the outer diameter (D) of the cup-shaped half body 5. This enables a non-positive, self-centering arrangement of the disks on the half bodies 5. This in connection with the position-limiting function of the stop formed by the flange 10. It is thus possible to quickly put the disk-shaped side walls onto the cup-shaped half-body and to hold them securely in their specified position even during the winding-up process.
  • the cup-shaped half body with laterally arranged stop flanges which are connected in one piece to the half body 5 and form a lateral limiting disk.
  • this side window has not been shown exactly.
  • the dimensions and the plastics used, as well as the materials used for the production of the detachable limiting disks arranged on the side, can be freely selected. It is also possible to design the number or the design and arrangement of the tooth-like latching hooks for connecting the half-body 5 differently. Furthermore, changes that remain within the scope of the above invention can be carried out without leaving the subject matter of the invention.
