Claims (4)
- Installation d'échappement, notamment pour moteurs à combustion interne à deux temps, dont au moins la partie qui se raccorde au moteur à combustion interne (1) est composée de deux coquilles de tôle (3 ; 3′) assemblées, et renferme un catalyseur (6), dans laquelle le catalyseur est constitué par une paroi médiane (7 ; 7′) s'étendant dans la direction de l'écoulement, entre les coquilles de tôle (3 ; 3′), revêtue de substance catalytique, et éventuellement ajourée.
- Installation selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la paroi médiane (7) formant le catalyseur est tenue à l'aide de pattes (39) disposées à un certain écartement, entre les bords (4) des coquilles de tôle qui sont assemblées, de préférence soudées,l'une à l'autre (figures 1 et 2).
- Installation selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que la paroi médiane (7) est disposée en amont d'un catalyseur principal (6) pour servir de pré-catalyseur d'une façon connue (figure 1).
- Installation selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que les coquilles de tôle (3) présentent un isolant extérieur composé de préférence d'une enveloppe (10) et d'une couche intercalaire isolante (11), et soudé aux bords (4) des coquilles de tôle.
