Description

The invention relates to a protective strip for the production of a plaster connection during the wall plastering process to a component made of a different material. This component consists, for example, of wood, plastic or metal. This component is preferably window frames, door frames or rafters.

Traditionally, the wall plaster has been plastered right up to the component, which has led to considerable contamination of the component and has not led to a permanent and tight connection between the wall plaster and the component.

From DE-GM-82 25 357 a protective strip made of metal is known, which is glued to the component. The edge of a reinforcing fabric is glued to the protective strip, which is embedded in the plaster layer during the wall plastering process.As before, the top plaster is plastered over the metal rail and the underlying adhesive tape directly to the component, so that there is no fixed connection to the component in the area . This solves the problem of the so-called demolition known in practice, since the vibrations emanating from such components are transferred directly to the finishing coat. Furthermore, the reinforcing fabric is led out laterally from the connection between the metal rail and the adhesive tape, so that its embedding in each according to the manufacturer's instructions, it is not possible to carry out a sufficiently variable leveling compound layer. In addition, there is no protection against dirt or damage of the component.

A protective strip made of plastic is known from DE-GM 86 11 867, which, due to its shape and width, offers protection against soiling or damage to the component. However, this protective strip has no reinforcement fabric.

  • a) die Schutzleiste weist ein Unterteil aus Kunststoff und ein Oberteil aus Kunststoff auf;
  • b)das Unterteil ist mit einem Klebeband zum Ankleben an das Bauteil versehen;
  • c) zwischen dem Unterteil und dem Oberteil ist ein Armierungsgewebe zur Einbettung in den anschließenden Putz festgeklemmt;
  • d) das Unterteil ist mit dem Oberteil formschlüssig federnd verrastet;
The invention relates to a protective strip for the production of a plaster connection to a component made of a different material, in particular to a window or door frame, with the following features:
  • a) the protective strip has a lower part made of plastic and an upper part made of plastic;
  • b) the lower part is provided with an adhesive tape for sticking to the component;
  • c) a reinforcing fabric for embedding in the subsequent plaster is clamped between the lower part and the upper part;
  • d) the lower part is positively locked with the upper part;
  • e) the protective strip has a lateral protective flap for protecting the component, which can be broken off by hand via a notch cut.

In the protective strip according to the invention, any contact of cleaning materials with the other component is prevented. The vibrations emanating from this component are safely kept away from the plaster application and cannot be transferred there. After completing the wall plastering process, the only visible synthetic resin of the protective strip, the peeling edge, forms a clean boundary of the reveal plaster, which also later allows easy and better maintenance of the window or door frames.

The protective strip according to the invention can be used particularly inexpensively if the wall adjoining the component is provided with a mineral or organic full heat protection system. In these systems, the reinforcement fabric is often desirable in order to ensure that the plaster layer is anchored on the heat insulation layer. The penetration of moisture is excluded in the area of the connection of the plaster layer to the other component. The lower part and the upper part of the protective strip are preferably injection molded from hard synthetic resin into a continuous mold via an extruder. The protective tab preferably has a T-shaped profile. The reinforcement fabric is preferably made of synthetic resin-coated silk glass. An adhesive tape is preferably provided on the protective tab on the side facing away from the component, so that a protective film for the window opening or the door opening can be glued there. The reinforcing fabric ensures that the plaster does not crack or leak when it is shrinking, neither inside nor towards the protective strip.

Claim 2 describes a first embodiment in which the latching point faces the masonry and the other end of the upper part, which is also made of hard synthetic resin, engages in an undercut side wall of the lower part with the interposition of the reinforcing fabric.

According to claim 3, the surfaces of the upper and lower parts facing the plaster layer are at least approximately aligned in the pressed and latched state. To facilitate snapping, the nose piece is rounded approximately semicircularly according to claim 4 and the corresponding end of the upper part is cut accordingly at the top Claim 5 describes a second embodiment, according to which the upper part merges into the lower part of approximately the same wall thickness, which folds over a connecting piece of reduced wall thickness and is pressed in with the interposition of the reinforcing fabric and resiliently with a free end in the undercut nose piece of the side wall facing away from the masonry snaps into place.

For both exemplary embodiments, claims 6 and 7 indicate the manner in which the upper part is advantageously pressed onto the lower part with the reinforcing fabric being interposed.

The fibreboard mentioned in claim 8, which according to claim 9 is embedded together with the protruding part of the reinforcing fabric in a filler layer, has a heat insulation function.

Special types of plaster, in particular of such a mineral type, require a wide contact surface on the side wall facing away from the masonry; To save expensive synthetic resin material and thus also to protect raw materials, an internal recess is then provided according to claim 10.

According to claim 11, the outside of the masonry side wall of the protective strip is used in a known manner as a peeling edge for the finishing coat; this outside is at the same time limiting protection when cleaning the window and door frames.

According to claim 12, the front of the masonry facing outer wall should be formed with triangular bumps. This outer wall is exposed to weathering and the plaster connects to the front. The triangular humps are used to interlock with the plaster.

According to claim 13, the protective tab should carry an inwardly directed web of a height which corresponds to the thickness of the soft adhesive tape, so that the protective strip and protective tab lie in one plane when the protective film is attached.

The features cited in claims 14 to 16 with regard to the soft strip used to fasten the protective strip are intended to protect it from being detached from the plaster by the constantly occurring vibrations.

The invention is explained in more detail using a cross-sectional drawing with two exemplary embodiments; shows
  • Figure 1 - the device to be protected with the upper part pressed into the lower part,
  • Figure 2 - with an upper part folded over the lower part, each with a wide contact surface for the fiberboard and the plaster, with the inner recess in this part,
  • Figure 2a - on the other hand with a narrow support surface for the plaster and without the inner recess

According to Figure 1, a protective strip (1) made of hard synthetic resin is attached to a window or door frame (3) by means of an equally wide and long tape (2) with an adhesive layer (2a) made of foamed, that is, soft synthetic resin, and together with this at a lateral distance A , which is filled with contact foam or insulating wool (10), stored in the masonry (5). Tightness of the wall plaster against moisture arriving from the outside is achieved by the fact that on the lower part (1d) of the protective strip (1) carrying the adhesive tape, a reinforcing fabric (8) made of synthetic resin-coated silk glass extends into the plaster layer (6, 6a) made of hard synthetic resin upper part (1b) is pressed, which is resiliently engaged with one end (1b ') in an undercut nose piece (1a˝) of semicircular shape of the side wall (1a) facing the masonry (1d) of the lower part (1d). The other end (1b˝) of the upper part engages in an undercut side wall (1c) of the lower part with the reinforcement fabric penetrating from here into the plaster layer. In this pressed and locked state, the surfaces of the upper and lower part (1b, 1d) facing the plaster layer are aligned. The latched end of the upper part (1b ') is rounded off according to the semicircular nose piece (1a˝) and beveled inwards.

On the surface of the upper part (1b), which is preferably smooth, but can also be roughened or grooved, abuts a heat-insulating fiberboard (9) glued to the masonry (5), which together with the protruding part of the reinforcing fabric (8) Filler layer (6a) is embedded. An inner recess (1e) is provided in the side wall (1c) facing away from the masonry (5), whose outer edge (1a ') serves in a known manner as a peeling edge for the finishing coat.

The protective strip (1) carries a protective flap (4) which can be easily broken off by hand via a notch cut (4a) and which partially extends over the width of the window or door frame (3); it also carries a web (4a) pointing there, the height of which corresponds to the thickness of the adhesive (2). Through the web (4a), the protective flap (4) is parallel to the component (3) underneath, so that the protective strip (1) on the opposite reveal side is level and the protective film (7) to be pressed onto the adhesive tape (4b) one level above the components (3).

After the masonry cleaning process has been completed, the protective film (7) is pulled off, and the protective flap (4) is broken off or pulled off by hand at the notch cut (4a).

According to Figure 2, the tightness of the plaster is achieved in that the adhesive tape (2) carrying the lower part (1d) of the protective strip (1) merges into an upper part (1b) of approximately the same wall thickness, which is of reduced wall thickness via a connecting piece (1c) S folded down and with the interposition of the reinforcing fabric (8) penetrating into the plaster layer from here pressed onto that upper part and locked with a free end (1b ') into an undercut nose piece (1a˝) of the side wall (1a) facing away from the masonry (5) is. The inward tapered free end (1b ') of this upper part is pressed over the nose piece rounded towards the plaster layer (6, 6a).

Here too, the surface of the upper part (1b) abuts a heat-insulating fiberboard (9) glued to the masonry (5), which is embedded in a filler layer (6a) together with the protruding part of the reinforcing fabric (8). An inner recess (1e) is provided in the side wall (1a) facing away from the masonry, the outside (1a) of which, in a known manner, serves as a peeling edge for the top plaster and the front edge of which forms a toothing with the triangular cusps (1f) with the plaster.

Figure 2a differs only in that the contact surface of the side wall (1a) for the plaster (6) is so narrow that an internal recess may be unnecessary.

In Figures 2 and 2a, the protective tab (4) is designed as in Figure 1.
