Abstract

Es werden Verfahren zur Herstellung von Mono- und Multi­ filamenten sowie Stapelfasern aus Multifilamenten auf der Basis von Polyarylensulfiden, vorzugsweise im we­ sentlichen Polyarylensulfiden, insbesondere im wesent­ lichen linearem Poly-p-phenylensulfid, mittels Schmelz­ spinnen, Mehrfachverstrecken und gegebenenfalls Kräuse­ lung und Fixierung angegeben.
Weiterhin werden Fasern, textiler Titer (bis ca. 20 dtex) bisher unbekannter Festigkeit von >6 cN/dtex, vorzugsweise >6,2 cN/dtex, insbesondere >6,4 cN/dtex, beansprucht.
