Definitions

  • the invention relates to a formwork for walls to be poured, consisting of two formwork panels composed of flat sheet material, spaced apart by means of spacers, which are supported on the outside by crossing and holding vertical beams and horizontal beams, the vertical beams on the outside and the horizontal girders are arranged between these vertical girders and the relevant formwork wall, and the horizontal girders rest on and are fastened on supporting elements protruding from the vertical girders.
  • Such formwork is known from FR-A-2.129.095 and can be regarded as a form of the semi-classic type.
  • Formwork of a purely classic type is known, for example, from NL-A-6412145, NL-A-6507926 and NL-A-7011968.
  • This type of formwork the necessary formwork walls, vertical girders and horizontal girders are sawn to measure from the building contractor's stock of the existing panel and support material and put together to form the desired formwork.
  • the vertical beams are arranged against the formwork walls and the horizontal beams, sometimes in pairs, are arranged on the outside against the vertical beams.
  • the mutual connection between vertical beams and horizontal beams is generally done by means of the formwork walls, through the vertical beams and between the horizontal beam pairs, outwardly projecting extensions of the spacers with locking disks and nuts to be attached to them.
  • Formwork of this type is still generally used, especially by contractors who are equipped to build smaller structures. These contractors have to reckon with the fact that each time a relatively large proportion of the formwork material is lost when fitting the (previously used) formwork material. This applies in particular to the beam wood from which the horizontal beams are made. This beam, purchased in standard lengths of five or seven meters, for example, can be reused three times on average. Then it was cut to such an extent that there are no longer any pieces of a usable length.
  • this formwork has the disadvantage that the described connection between vertical girders and horizontal girders is difficult to achieve; the horizontal beams must first of all provisional means are supported towards the vertical beams before they can be used against the vertical beams with the aid of the attachments.
  • FR-A-2.129.095 does not, however, provide a solution for the greatest disadvantage of classic formwork, namely the loss of beam wood when sawing the horizontal girders when re-using, which limits this re-use.
  • the invention now intends to provide this solution.
  • the support elements each form an insertion berth, which is delimited by a pair of flanges projecting approximately vertically from one side of the vertical support, namely a lower support flange extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vertical support and an in Distance of the same upper flange, which forms a small angle with the lower flange, in such a way that a wedge-shaped gap is present between the horizontal support and the upper flange, into which a wedge clamping the horizontal support can be driven.
  • the features of the invention enable the connection between vertical supports and horizontal supports to be established in the simplest manner and, as in FR-A-2.129.095, one does not need to drive nails through the horizontal supports into the specially designed support supports .
  • Such a fastening method gives the possibility, depending on the available bar lengths, of the horizontal beams either in sections to be aligned with one another, or to be arranged in sections that overlap in the horizontal direction and are offset in the vertical sense.
  • the "sawing" of the beam wood to be used for the horizontal beams can thus be limited to a minimum.
  • the mutual distance between the plug-in berths distributed on the vertical beams must of course not be greater than half the maximum distance mentioned.
  • the invention relates to a formwork with vertical beams provided on at least one side with projecting flanges.
  • the formwork shown in the drawing has an outer or rear formwork wall 1 and an inner or front formwork wall 2, which are kept apart by spacers 3, so-called centering pins, of which one is shown in the drawing.
  • a number of vertical beams 7 are set up at a predetermined mutual distance, while one or more panels for the inner formwork wall 2 are freestanding against the freely projecting cones 6 of the spacers 3 touches down.
  • the vertical supports 7 can be set up on a floor beam (not shown) lying on the already existing floor and can be provisionally supported if necessary.
  • the horizontal beams 8 are arranged between the panels and vertical beams, namely by being pushed between them from below and seen from right to left in the drawing.
  • the horizontal beams 8, the cross-sectional dimensions of which are approximately 7 ⁇ 17 cm, are received with the outward-facing edge parts in berths formed on the vertical beams.
  • These berths are each delimited by two flanges 9 and 10 protruding from the vertical support 7 (see FIG. 2), namely a lower flange 9 and an upper flange 10.
  • the lower flange 9 is located in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vertical support, while the upper flanges 10 is approximately kinked, the sections 10a and 10b lying on both sides of the kink line 11 diverge at an angle of, for example, 5 to 7 ° with respect to the lower flanges.
  • a wedge-shaped gap is present into which a wedge 12 can be hammered in order to clamp the horizontal supports 8 against the relevant vertical support 7.
  • the wedge can be inserted either from the left or from the right.
  • the horizontal beams 8 will extend over two, three or more vertical beams. With the help of the berth version just described and the wedges to be used, a reliable connection between vertical beams and horizontal beams is achieved in the simplest way. If desired, the panels of the inner formwork wall can be tightened against the horizontal beams 8 using corner connecting elements. Such elements are generally known in construction and therefore need not be shown in the drawing.
  • the distance h between two adjacent berths is half the maximum distance that should be maintained in the vertical direction of the formwork between two adjacent horizontal beams in order to limit the deflection of the formwork walls during the pouring of the wall within a permissible limit. In practice, for example, a maximum distance of about 30 cm is used.
  • the distance h is half of the maximum distance mentioned, the horizontal beams in the successive "layers" do not have to extend to all vertical beams, while the stated maximum distance (measured in the vertical direction) is still maintained everywhere. With reference to the drawing, this means that the horizontal beam sections designated with x could be dispensed with.
  • the formwork can then be "expanded" in the horizontal direction by placing a number of vertical girders again, attaching further panels for the inner formwork wall behind it and again placing the required number of horizontal girders between these two parts.
  • the vertical beams 7 can consist of sections of the same length or of different lengths be composed, which can be coupled by a flange screw connection. In this way, the formwork can also be built up in stages in the vertical sense.
  • the vertical supports consist of (made of metal) box profiles. It is obvious that the advantages of the invention can also be realized with other profile designs.
  • the upper flanges 10 preferably have a width of approximately 5 cm, which corresponds to that of the wedges 12. Incidentally, these wedges are already generally used for similar purposes in construction.
  • the width of the lower support flanges is preferably larger, for example 75 mm, so that the horizontal beams are supported over a little less than half their width.
